"Of course I am your friend." I answered almost without hesitation.
"Really?" Jiang Sijin smiled, tears streaming from her eyes. She looked at me through her tears and asked me word by word, "If you considered me a friend, why didn't you tell me earlier that Li Anran betrayed me? Since you already knew, why did you hide it? Do you know that you are betraying our friendship by doing this?"
"Si Jin!" I said in surprise, "I want to tell you, but I don't know how to tell you. I'm afraid you will do something irreversible under impulse."
"So, you just watched me being bullied by Li Anran, by that bitch? Being treated like a fool who knew nothing!" Jiang Sijin stared at me, as if she was yelling at me with all her strength, and she cried even harder.
"No, no." I tried my best to explain myself. I reached out to wipe the tears from her face, but I cried too. "Sijin, don't cry. You are..."
Jiang Sijin turned her head away from my hand, still saying, "We have known each other for so many years, and I trust you so much, but what about you? How did you treat me? If Lin Zhan hadn't told me, I wouldn't have known about this! Many years of friendship is not as good as a person I just met!"
Every word she said was full of thorns and accusations. I didn't know what I should say to comfort her who was so mentally fragile.
"Si Jin, I'm sorry. When I found out Li Anran was with someone else, I was also shocked. I was afraid that something would happen if you knew it, so I was worried for the past few days. "Things are going smoothly. We are currently waiting for approval, which will probably take about ten days. I will tell you in advance when I come back. You can come and pick me up then." Ning Qiyuan gave the order without allowing any room for rejection.

However, Ning Qiyuan on the other end of the phone paused and suddenly asked me, "Tong Shuchen, what's wrong with you?"
"I'm fine!" I answered him with a smile.
"If you say nothing is wrong, then there is something wrong." Ning Qiyuan's tone was full of certainty, " Do you think I don't know you?"
I held the phone in my hand, and suddenly I couldn't say a word. On the phone, his voice was clearer than before: "Okay, if you don't say anything, I'll buy a plane ticket and rush back right away."
Hearing this, I was immediately shocked: "You haven't finished your school work yet, what are you doing back here?"
"Then don't force me to go back!" Ning Qiyuan threatened me casually.
He always finds a way to make me compromise. He is the only one in this world.
I sighed and told him the story as simply as possible. Ning Qiyuan didn't say a word, just listened quietly, and I found that after I told him these things, my heart gradually calmed down, and I was no longer confused, anxious, or aggrieved.
Ning Qiyuan was not a person who was good at comforting. After listening to her, he was silent for a long time and only said, "You have to be well and wait for me to come back."
"Yeah." I replied, and without saying anything else, I hung up the phone.
