After staying in the hospital for a few days, Jiang Sijin gradually recovered. But she stopped talking to anyone, even Lin Zhan and I were treated as invisible by her. Every day, except for taking injections and medication, she lay quietly, silent and totally unlike herself. I don't know what she is thinking, and I am getting more and more panicked. I would rather she cry and make a fuss than to be like this now, looking lifeless, like a flower that is about to wither.
After Li Anran had that phone call with me, he never showed up. The person who came to replace him was a professional caregiver who had been taking care of Jiang Sijin these days.
It was also the first time that I really understood what it was like when a person became ruthless. It was as if he had completely become another person. I couldn't imagine how much pain Jiang Sijin, who had given everything, must have felt.
Two days later, the doctor informed me that Jiang Sijin could be discharged from the hospital and would be fine after a period of rest. I took a leave of absence to pick her up from the hospital.
While I was packing for her, someone called Jiang Sijin. She answered the phone woodenly, and didn't say anything for a long time, but her face gradually became pale. I thought the caller was Li Anran, and I was a little worried that Li Anran would say something to provoke her.
But after a while, Jiang Sijin hung up the phone, her face looked extremely solemn, she came over, picked up the things I had just packed, and turned away.

Jiang Sijin walked very fast. Before I could catch up with her, she had already entered the elevator. I was blocked outside by the elevator door when I was chasing her.
I didn't know where she was going, but I was worried about her current physical condition, so I quickly went to the emergency stairs and went downstairs. However, I was still a step too slow. When I chased her out of the building, Jiang Sijin had already stopped a taxi on the roadside and quickly disappeared from my sight.
While I took out my cell phone to call her, I went to the side of the road to stop a car.
The call was quickly connected, and Jiang Sijin's voice came through clearly and coldly: "Tong Shuchen, I'm going home, you don't have to worry about me."
She just said this and hung up the phone. When I called again, she didn't answer.
I stood on the side of the road holding my phone and sighed. Maybe going home is the best thing for Jiang Sijin now. I just hope that when she comes back, she can return to her previous appearance.
After finishing the rest of the hospital affairs, I returned to school. I had fallen behind in my studies because of taking care of Jiang Sijin. Although I had asked for leave, I still had to finish the homework assigned by the professor. For this reason, I stayed in the library to finish my homework after I came back. I even bought some milk and bread for meals. What surprised me was that Ning Qiyuan came back early.
When I received his call, I thought he was lying to me, but when I saw him in real life, my heart couldn't help but jump.
Under the brilliant sunset, he stood in the glow, his figure hazy and beautiful. The soft light also made him look distant and quiet.
I held my breath, holding the book in my hand, and walked slowly towards him. When I was about to call him, he had already thrown away his cigarette butt and strode towards me. Then his slightly cool embrace with a hint of tobacco scent washed away all my feelings of unreality.
"Ning Qiyuan..." I found it difficult to breathe as he held me in his arms.
"Just for a while." Ning Qiyuan hugged me tightly, as if absorbing the warmth from my body. After a while, he slowly let me go and stared at me quietly.
I blushed a little when he looked at me, and asked him uncomfortably, "Why are you back? Have you finished your work?"
Ning Qiyuan immediately looked at me like an idiot and said in a cold tone, "What do you think?"

"Why didn't you tell me in advance that you were coming back?" I asked him again. I was really surprised that he came back suddenly.
"Tong Shuchen, when did you become so stupid?" Ning Qiyuan glanced at me again, snatched the book from my hand with one hand, held my hand with the other hand and walked out of the school.
I thought he would take me back to the school dormitory first, but he took me directly to the garden community not far from the school. I had no idea what he was doing, so I asked him, "Why did you bring me here?"
Ning Qiyuan didn't say much, just answered me: "You will know when you get there."
I didn't ask any more questions and he took me into a building, took the elevator to the 7th floor, and then I watched him take out the key and open the door.
Is this his family's property?
Just when I was about to ask him, he pulled me into the house, and before I could react, he forced my back against the door, and then he kissed me.
His kiss was so aggressive that I was caught off guard and completely unable to breathe, but my heart was filled with sweetness.
It wasn't until my stomach growled that he let me go and smiled.
His smile made my face red. I gently pushed him away and looked around the house. When my heartbeat gradually calmed down, I turned around asked him, "Yours?"
Ning Qiyuan looked at me and nodded, saying, "I'm going to transfer here soon, so it's necessary for me to live closer to school."
Transfer? Live closer to school?
I caught sight of these words and looked at him in surprise: "You want to transfer to my school?" Ours is the only university nearby.
Ning Qiyuan nodded again, then walked towards me, took my hand, and put the key in my palm : "Shuchen, move in with me!"
