Volume 9: The reins handed over Chapter 537: Ghost in the Wind and Rain

The next morning, Jon left the Nordic continent without telling anyone.
He came to the coastal coast of Norway, used Transfiguration to create a sailboat, and then used magic to drive it, sailing towards the endless ocean.
He seemed extremely familiar with the destination he was going to. He didn't have to worry about the ocean currents and wind direction at all. He just headed southwest and gradually came to an uninhabited sea area.
The sky gradually darkened, as if a storm was about to come.
After finding the exact location in his memory, Jon took a deep breath and jumped into the sea which was beginning to create waves.
Compared to the turbulent sea surface, the sea below is much calmer.
After Jon entered the sea, the bubble head curse naturally enveloped his head. At the same time, he could clearly feel that there were many eyes hidden in the dark around him looking at him.
He did not greet those gazes immediately, but dived vertically downwards, continuing to dive towards the depths of the seabed.
Soon, he saw a lot of gravel and metal fragments of various sizes.
These once belonged to a tall tower and the rockets hidden beneath it.
Jon looked at these things, rummaging among the fragments, and soon came across a telescope that was flickering with a faint red light.
He recognized it at a glance; this telescope was the one that the old knight had stored in the observatory at the top of the tower.
At this time, the telescope had already been shattered like everything else, but Jon still carefully picked up one of the most core lenses, which still retained some basic magic power.
Just after Jon put away the lens, he saw a figure that had been hiding in the dark, and had cautiously come to him at some point.
This was a female merman, and Jon had seen her before.
Justin had brought her up once before when the Hogwarts sailed near here for a fishing competition.
But Jon didn't feel like he was meeting an old friend. He looked around to see if there were any other mermaids surrounding him.
Although the root cause of Sir Stoke's death was actually his own suicide, in the eyes of these mermaids, this matter must be related to those who went up to the tower, and they should have felt hostile when they saw Jon.
But when the mermaid who came to Jon spoke, he didn't feel much resentment from her mouth.
"You are... the captain of that ship?"
The mermaid spoke in unfluent English and circled around Jon in surprise, as if she was surprised that he had not grown up in the past two years and had become smaller instead.
Jon looked at her calmly and nodded.
However, before he could open his mouth to test it, the mermaid, after seeing him admit it, spoke again in a tone of great joy.
"That's great. The Sir has been sitting there alone, and none of us can persuade him. Do you want to go see him?"
Jon's eyes widened.
"Sir? Sir Stoker?"
"Which other knight would it be?"
"He's still alive!"
The mermaid shook her head gloomily.
"He's dead."
Although what she said was contradictory, Jon still understood what this state of being both alive and dead meant.
Even so, it still made him excited and encouraged.
"Can you take me to see him?"
The mermaid nodded, motioned for Jon to follow her, and swam with him in one direction.
When you return to the sea surface, you will find that under the dark sky and amidst the surging sea water, there is a protruding reef hidden in the waves.
Sitting on the reef was a phantom, transparent, yet very familiar figure to Jon.
"Sir Stoker!"
Jon's voice was filled with excitement as he shouted over the sound of the waves and wind .
The ghost who had been looking up at the sky heard his voice, turned around and looked into Jon's eyes.
The emotions in Sir Stoker's eyes were changing. He looked at Jon, from confusion to doubt, as if he didn't recognize who he was at first glance. It was not until Jon came in front of him and spoke again that he showed an expression of realization.
"Me! Jon Green! The one who was a guest in the tower as Durmstrang's Transfiguration Professor!"
"Jon...Jon Green!"
A gentle smile appeared on his face, which was in stark contrast to the raging waves and roaring sea breeze around him, as if the environment they were in was far from being so harsh, but rather they were in a quiet and comfortable reception room, with black tea and snacks around them, chatting during their leisure afternoon.
"I never thought we would meet again, and in this way."
He spoke softly, and although his voice was not loud, it was clearly audible amid the noise.
"Are you still wandering? Or..."
Jon wasn't lying.
"We are still in exile. We have been forced to Northern Europe by Voldemort, but before that we fought back to England and killed him many times. It was only after we learned more secrets about him that we realized he was not so easy to kill. I came out this time to prepare a way to kill him."
Having said that, Jon looked at Jazz seriously.
"You became a ghost but still remain in this world. Is it because of your obsession with this starry sky?"
Sir Stoke looked up at the sky which was completely covered by dark clouds, with countless lightning bolts moving in it like silver snakes.
He gently opened his arms, and the strong wind brought down the rain in torrents!
The dense raindrops passed through his illusory body and could only hit the dark rocks.
“I’m not willing to…”
"But becoming a ghost gives you a better chance of realizing your ideals, sir!"
Hearing Jon's words, Sir Stoke turned his gaze to him again. Jon seemed to be immune to the rain and waves. Not only his hair but also his robe did not have any trace of wetness.
"How can you help me? Ghosts can no longer have any contact with real objects in this world."
"If you believe me, please wait for me here for a few more days, ser." Jon took out the fragment of the astronomical telescope . "And this thing, can you give it to me?"
Sir Stock nodded hesitantly.
"It's just a fragment now, what do you need it for?"
"Use it to defeat Voldemort."
Jon wasn't making a promise so much as stating a fact.
He had boarded the stormy boat again, and before leaving, he made one last request to Sir Stoker.
"If possible, could you please ask the mermen in this sea for help and ask them to scout the coastline of the Norwegian North Sea?"
