Volume 8: In this Hogwarts without the Dark Lord Chapter 525 Harry's Problem
The Order of the Phoenix has not yet been re-formed in this world.
In the original novel, it was only after Harry witnessed Voldemort's resurrection that the Order of the Phoenix, which had been disbanded more than ten years ago, was reconvened. Now that there is no such danger, Dumbledore certainly would not do something that would challenge the Ministry of Magic.
But in the current situation, we certainly can't just rely on Aurors.
All the members of the Order of the Phoenix were also summoned, and Dumbledore had to do it himself.
Of course Lily hid this from Harry. She behaved no differently than usual and Harry didn't notice anything wrong. However, during dinner, he became very curious about John's current physical condition.
"What danger are you in?"
Jon spoke vaguely.
"Nothing much, just some little experiments with Professor Dumbledore."
Lily looked at Jon with suspicion. If she didn't know the principle of how he became smaller, she might have believed his lies.
"What little experiment could put your life in danger?"
"It's just a small experiment to study the body. It's almost done. Professor Dumbledore helped a lot. Otherwise, if I were to do it alone, I might not be able to finish it now."
Seeing that Jon didn't want to say more, Lily stopped asking questions and looked at Jon.
"You said you had something to tell me in private. What did you want to say?"
Jon was silent for a moment about this, and then he spoke.
"It's about Harry. When you interacted with him, did you find anything different about him?"
Hearing that it was a problem involving Harry, Lily suddenly became a little nervous. She had already agreed with Harry that after this matter was resolved, the two were destined to separate. Each of them had to live well in their own world and should not degenerate themselves just because they lost their family.
So, after hearing John talk about Harry, she couldn't help but feel a little nervous.
"No, Harry didn't show anything special in front of me. What did you find?"
"I have talked to Harry privately a few times." Jon frowned and said, he did not lie about this point, and he did get some proof from Harry now, "He said that he had had several nightmares. He dreamed that he was resurrected from his own perspective and in a house full of ruins but magnificent, and then killed Professor Dumbledore."
"I asked him when he had this dream, and basically I can infer that it was on the night of the Battle of the Ministry of Magic. Harry entered Voldemort's perspective at that time and was resurrected with him."
Lily's face turned pale. She didn't know why, but anything related to Voldemort was bound to be bad, especially Harry.
"Then what?"
"I also informed Professor Dumbledore of this matter, and then we carefully observed Harry's condition together and found a very likely problem. Harry, he also became a Horcrux of Voldemort."
Lily's face turned completely blank.
John didn't need to say anything more. She knew better than anyone what it would mean if Harry was also a Horcrux.
In order to kill Voldemort, all the Horcruxes must be destroyed. In order to destroy the Horcruxes, the objects that contain Voldemort's soul must be directly destroyed. In other words, if they really want to destroy all the Horcruxes, Harry must be eliminated.
Lily was stunned for a long time before she raised her head and looked at Jon.
"So, what are you going to do?"
Jon shrugged, not showing as much nervousness as she did.
"Regarding the study of Horcruxes, both Professor Dumbledore and I have done very little research, but if there is anyone in this world who knows how to solve this problem, it can only be Mr. Slytherin."
Lily was guided by Jon at this time and also thought of this matter.
"Yes! The Slytherin portrait of this world is still in the North Pole. We can go find it!"
However, Jon shook his head.
"But we are running out of time, professor. Don't forget that we set a limit at the beginning. We can only stay in this world for two weeks at most. Now 11 days have passed. And the underground maze in the Arctic, the specific entry method and location, cannot be found in a short time."
"So what should we do?" Lily knew that since Jon said that, it meant that he already had a solution.
"Take Harry there first." Jon said seriously, "Let him go with us. In our world, Mr. Slytherin has a deeper understanding of Horcruxes. It was he who helped Voldemort, who traveled through time, to retrieve the Horcruxes. He must have some ideas about Harry's current situation. But we all know that world is very dangerous. Even if we go back now, we can't guarantee what has happened there, whether Principal Grindelwald has managed to defend Northern Europe, and whether Voldemort has started a new war."
Lily was very decisive about this.
"I agree to take Harry with me."
She understood very clearly that no matter how dangerous the other world was, it could still solve Harry's dilemma as a Horcrux. But if he had to stay in this world, did he have to turn a blind eye to this problem?
Jon wasn't surprised to hear her answer, but he still felt relieved.
Explain Harry's affairs to Lily first, so as to avoid trouble later.
As for tomorrow's action, Jon naturally doesn't need to think too much about it. Dumbledore will arrange everything. He just needs to follow the arrangements and go along as a thug.
John wasn't too worried about the Death Eater forces organized by Voldemort in this world.
Regardless of how many people gathered, Voldemort's Horcruxes and Voldemort himself are two completely different concepts. Besides, even if Voldemort himself came , with Dumbledore and John here, he would not be able to cause any trouble.
So at the appointed time the next day, Jon followed Dumbledore and Lily to meet up with the Auror leading the Ministry of Magic.
Of course, there were many acquaintances among them, including Kingsley, Moody, and Tonks.
Most of these people still thought that their action today was just to capture the Death Eaters who escaped from prison, and they didn't know that it was related to Voldemort.
It’s not that the news was not passed on to them, but the topic of Voldemort’s return has always been controversial, and the current director of the Auror Office simply does not believe such "nonsense".
Therefore, he told his subordinates the fact that they might encounter Voldemort on this mission as a joke.
