Gradually more and more customers came into the store.
So Jiang You said goodbye to Yin Jie and said, "You go and do your work. I'm going back first."
"You go ahead."
After walking out of Xiaofangzhai, Jiang You thought about it. Instead of going back to the store, he bought a matcha vanilla flavored double-color ice cream cone at the convenience store and ate it while walking towards Guanghe Bookstore.
Suddenly, a white puppy ran in front of him, barking at him with its teeth bared. Jiang You looked up and saw a girl in a light pink floral dress, pulling the dog leash with both hands. She looked at Jiang You apologetically and said, "I don't know what happened, but it's so excited today. It doesn't usually bark." Then she scolded the puppy, "Mantou, stop barking."
"It's okay, it's okay. What breed is this dog? It's pretty good looking."
"It's just a local dog..." Before she could finish her words, Mantou pounced on Jiang You. Jiang You quickly dodged to the side, and a large lump of ice cream in his hand fell to the ground.
Jiang You looked at the little ice cream left in the cone with heartache.
"Shall I buy you one?" the girl said.
"No need, just take it back quickly."
"Okay, okay, steamed bun, you can't eat this, hey..."
Jiang You looked at Mantou licking the ice cream on the ground. He shook his head, sighed, walked past the girl, and continued walking forward.
When he arrived at Guanghe Bookstore, he had just finished the ice cream cone in his hand. As soon as he opened the door, he heard Chen Nan's voice.
"Xiao Liu, hold my legs, I'll hang this up..."
Chen Nan stood at the top of the folding ladder, holding out his hand, holding a rectangular advertising flag.
Jiang You took a few quick steps, walked to her side, and held her feet.
Chen Nan stretched out his hand, reached the nut, and hung the advertising flag up.
She was wearing a dark green tank top, which moved up a bit due to her movements, revealing her well-proportioned waist.

"Xiao Liu contacted him. He's an anime artist," Chen Nan said as she climbed down the folding ladder. She used her hand to tidy up the hair around her ears. "I heard he's quite famous."
Xiao Liu came over with a stack of posters. "There's a comic convention going on recently, and she's in Tangjiang, but for some reason, she can't sign at the convention. But the album and other materials have been sent to Tangjiang, so I contacted them and asked if they need a venue."
"Is that so? Do you know why?"
"I asked around and found out that she was invited by the organizer to come here. She was originally scheduled to sign books on the big stage at the front at 2:30 pm on the first day. But a company's contracted author's work was adapted into an animation and they invited many voice actors to come, which took up her time. The organizer asked her if she could change the time or find an empty space to set up a table for signing books. She got so angry that she simply didn't want to go."
Chen Nan picked up another advertising banner. Seeing this, Jiang You said, "Let me do it. Where do you want to hang it?"
"Over there, next to the lamp, there is a nut. Do you see it?" Chen Nan pointed in the direction.
Jiang You pushed his glasses down, squinted his eyes and looked for a while, and finally found it. He moved the ladder over and climbed up.
"When did you come back?" Chen Nan asked him.
"Just got back. I took the train this morning." Jiang You hung up the advertising banner and smoothed it out. "Does this book signing event require tickets? Or do I have to buy the album?"
"No, what's wrong?"
"I'm worried that there won't be enough people," Jiang You climbed down. "At a comic convention, everyone comes here, buys a picture book and asks for autographs, then takes a photo and posts it on Weibo or Moments."
"Ruolan has a lot of fans. The picture album she displayed at last year's comic convention is now selling for three times the price," Xiao Liu explained.
"Is that so? What else do you want to do?"
"Put a poster on the door outside," Chen Nan picked up a poster and stuffed it into Jiang You's hand, "and there's double-sided tape. Wait a minute, Xiao Liu, go get the sign and put it in the rest area first."
Jiang You walked out of the door with the poster. He held the poster on the door, and then Chen Nan came over with scissors and double-sided tape.
She cut off a piece of double-sided tape and handed it to Jiang You. She asked, "How is Chu Cheng?"
"It's OK."
"Have you got a meal yet?"
"I've eaten at Lao Yin's. He treated me to a meal." Jiang You put up the poster. He took a step back and looked around. "It's pretty good. This weekend, right? Saturday or Sunday?"
"Saturday afternoon ."
"That's tomorrow. I'll come over in case there are too many people and you and Xiao Liu can't handle it."
"OK."
After putting up the posters, they walked back to the bookstore. Xiao Liu took out the picture album and some peripheral items and placed them on the table at the front.
"Please sit down for a while. What would you like to drink?" Chen Nan walked behind the counter.
Jiang You looked at the sign that was as tall as a person, and he found a seat and sat down. "Ice is fine."
He took out his mobile phone, searched for the word "Ruolan" on Weibo, clicked into the square, and quickly figured out the whole story.
Chen Nan came over with two cups of mango smoothie.
Jiang You reached out to take the cup and took a big sip. "According to the organizer, she was given half an hour to sign books. She thought the time was too short and wanted to interact more with readers, but she couldn't move away later. The organizer said to change the time or venue, but she didn't want to."
"So it's the painter, right?"
"I'm not sure. There must be problems on both sides. Have you received the deposit?"
"The deposit has been paid."
"She's quite good-looking." Jiang You clicked on a photo and turned the screen to Chen Nan.
The girl in the photo is wearing a JK uniform, she has big eyes and looks youthful and bright.
"So young?" Chen Nan was a little surprised.
"I recently read a book about writing skills, which said that if the author is different from what the readers imagine, the readers will not want to buy his book. So there is an author who writes tough guy novels. He likes to drink Coke very much, but every time he goes out, he always says in a tough way , "Give me a glass of wine."
"Really? What if I write something funny?"
"Then maybe before holding a book signing, you have to practice how to tell stand-up comedy. Before signing, you have to do this paragraph first, make the readers laugh, and then start signing."
Chen Nan laughed out loud.
Jiang You looked at her and said, "I brought some local specialties and snacks for you and Yunyun. You can come to my place and get them later."
"Yunyun went to her father's house after school today. In the past, her grandparents disliked her because she was a girl, but now they like her." Chen Nan took a sip of the smoothie and looked at Jiang You. "You seem to have lost some weight this time?"
"Really? I haven't weighed myself since I got back."
Chen Nan looked at Jiang You's face carefully again, "Yes, you have lost some weight."
"I was so tired from climbing that mountain. The path was so steep," Jiang You leaned on the table. "I climbed up and down several times. My waist and legs felt like they were not my own."
"Now that you're back, have a good rest. I'll make some food to nourish you."
