Volume 3: Tides of Darkness Chapter 213: The Old Minotaur and the Young Minotaur
Watching Nigga Blackhorn disappear into the sky, Hellscream could finally relax.
He looked at the wooden houses and oasis around him, feeling both curious and relaxed. It was not time to go to bed yet, so he walked out of the wooden house and strolled on the grass outside, looking at the strange minotaurs around him.
Some female minotaurs were drying meat and making food from plant roots.
The male minotaurs were forging weapons and repairing armor, looking like they were ready to fight at any time.
The weapons of the minotaurs are mostly heavy battle axes and war hammers. He even saw minotaurs using huge logs as weapons.
The minotaurs also looked at him curiously, and one of the minotaurs warriors with black mane greeted him in a loud and gruff voice.
"Little guy, are you the green man who came here with Black Horn?"
It was the first time that Hellscream was called a short guy, but he didn't care. Compared with these big guys, he was indeed much smaller.
"Yes," Hellscream said.
"Humph, that guy is just a bastard. If you hang out with someone like him, I don't think you are a good person either."
Hellscream couldn't stand this kind of humiliation and subconsciously wanted to teach this guy a lesson.
At this time, an old minotaur with a white beard came out and said, "Enough, Angry Hoof. Stop being so rude to our guests. Have you forgotten the hospitality I taught you?"
The big black guy was scolded by the old minotaur, but he didn't dare to get angry and could only leave helplessly.
"I'm sorry young warrior, but Ragehoof is a bit grumpy due to recent events, but he's not without ill intentions."
Faced with such a kind-hearted elder, Hellscream had to put away his violent side and take his hand off the axe handle.
"I'm not very familiar with Nigaha Nobi," he explained.
"Blackhorn is not a bad kid, but he is too jumpy, unlike a tauren. He left the tribe when he was very young and wandered around the vast continent of Kalimdor. No one knows what he went through, but once the tribe was invaded, he immediately came back to help the tribe.
He helped us find this oasis. You are a welcome guest here. Please feel free to come and ask me if you need anything, young warrior."
Hellscream is not the type of orc to be polite: "I am hungry and need food."
The old minotaur immediately ordered a younger minotaur to bring some food.
The food was simple, just dried meat and potato bread, but Hellscream ate it voraciously. His sharp fangs easily tore the hard dried meat into pieces and swallowed it without chewing.
The little minotaur who delivered the food looked shocked, "What are you?"
Hellscream looked up at the little minotaur in front of him. He was about the same height as Hellscream, but his childish face made it easy for Hellscream to tell that he was just a child.
"I am an orc."
"Are you from the Eastern Continent?"
"No, I come from another world, a world called Draenor."
"Another world? What is it like there?"
"My hometown is Nagrand, where there are lush grasslands and clear rivers, towering mountains, and herds of cleft-hoofed cattle and thunder elephants..." Hellscream ate while trying to recall the few remaining memories.
"It sounds like a great place. Why did you leave your hometown?"
Hellscream sighed, "My hometown has been destroyed. It has become a dead place."
The little minotaur seemed to resonate with the words. "Our homeland was once very beautiful, but those damn centaurs invaded, conquered, burned, killed and looted us. We had to leave our homeland. Was your homeland invaded as well? The chief said that the invaders will eventually be punished by Mother Earth, but I doubt it."
Hellscream listened to Maverick's angry accusation and felt a little annoyed. Although the other party was talking about centaurs, he felt as if he was accusing him.
Was his hometown invaded? Maybe, but who were the invaders? He originally thought it was the Draenei, but now he suddenly realized that it didn't seem to be the case. Conquering, invading, burning, killing and looting, wasn't that what he had done in the past?
Could it be that the orcs themselves destroyed their own world?
He was unwilling to accept such an answer, but his remaining sanity told him that this was the case.
Hellscream's uneasiness caused the old man next to him to misunderstand, and he thought that he was worried about encountering danger.
"Don't be nervous, kid. It's safe here. Do you see the mountains around? That's Razor Ridge, the home of the wild boars. This dangerous mountain range surrounds the oasis on all sides. There is only one path that connects to the outside world. Those centaurs will definitely not be able to find this place. You are safe here."
Hellroar responded vaguely. After dinner, he hid back in the wooden cabin and lay on the animal skins in the cabin. Hellroar's mind was very confused. He thought about it for a while and finally calmed down.
He didn't know what was going on in the tribe or how the war was going. Gradually, he fell asleep.
…
"For the Horde! Fire!"
boom!
The flaming projectiles from the catapult hit the castle's magic shield heavily. Morgan Lisa, who was holding up the shield, didn't even frown, but just yawned out of boredom.
Below the castle, hundreds of orcs swarmed in and launched an attack on the city gate. The castle was surrounded by densely packed adventurers from the Alliance, who fought against the orcs in teams.
On the city wall behind them, dozens of Alliance heroes stood there, leisurely pouring magic and rain of arrows down below.
The pure flame of Arandel!
Murphy used the Dragon Breath Technique to burn dozens of orcs under the city wall to death, and also burned the two adventurers to ashes.
"Oh shit, big brother, please watch out, my weapon exploded." An adventurer let out a miserable howl before dying.
"Feel sorry."
Murphy said this but he didn't agree in his heart. Aren't you adventurers here just to gain experience? You are all wearing blank store-bought outfits, what are you pretending for?
This was the seventh day after the Battle of Dagger Ridge. Because of this disastrous defeat, the Horde lost 30,000 cavalry, which made the Horde retaliate like crazy. Orgrim personally led the army to start a frontal attack.
After his last victory, Varian fully accepted the plan made by the studio and began to implement the second step of the plan - the attrition strategy.
The tribe's manpower is consumed at the cost of the castles within the Storm Kingdom. Not many troops are deployed in each battle, but adventurers are used as cannon fodder and heroes as output, fighting the tribe without losing the Storm Kingdom's legions.
As of today, the Horde has captured more than a dozen Alliance castles and lost tens of thousands of orcs, but Stormwind's military losses have only been a few hundred.
Murphy participated in almost the entire process, but he gained a lot of experience. Look, a white light flashed, and he was upgraded again.
Nice! Murphy silently added five attributes to strength.
On the tribal position outside the city, Orgrim looked at the castle in front of him with a stern face. After these days of advancement, he had realized that something was wrong. Although many adventurers could be killed in every battle, the strange thing was that these adventurers kept coming , as if they could never be killed.
As he watched the orc warriors fall in large numbers, Orgrim's face remained calm.
He had no choice but to do this as he received several pieces of bad news one after another. First, he learned that Gul'dan led his clan on a long voyage and no one knew where they went.
Then Hellscream's army was completely destroyed .
Kilrogg is still confronting the trolls in Stranglethorn Vale, and it can be said that bad news comes one after another.
This caused unrest among the people in the tribe.
But there is good news. The Shadowmoon Clan led by Ner'zhul successfully established contact with Ragnaros, the Lord of Fire Elementals in Blackrock Mountain. Through constant sacrifices and communication, they finally established a good relationship with Ragnaros, mastered the elemental power of Azeroth, and were able to summon fire elementals to join the battle.
