John placed the book with the knowledge about the Shadowless Divine Strike directly on Dumbledore's desk, and then he went straight to the point.
"Professor, I got something from that castle."
Dumbledore wiped the half-moon glasses, then put them back on. He took the book that Jon had placed on the table with a serious look and said with a little surprise.
"It is indeed... a remarkable thing..." He raised his head and looked at Jon again, "Where did you get the knowledge for this book?"
Dumbledore was obviously unaware of the matter with the ring.
When Slughorn gave the ring to Jon, he specifically told him not to tell anyone about the existence of this thing, so Jon has always kept this promise.

"Yes, Professor."
"You want to learn it?"
John didn't even have to speak, Dumbledore already saw why he came this time.
This was indeed the main reason why John took the initiative to inform Dumbledore of the existence of the banned book. He wanted to learn powerful black magic including the Shadowless Magic, and he certainly could not hide it from the old man.
