Volume 2: Knocking on Heaven's Door Chapter 52: Students Appear (Part 2)

"Fifth place, Kevin Knipfen, is a high school student from Suffolk County Public High School in Long Island, New York. He was once ranked first in the New York State American Wrestling High School League. His profile says that he has won many honors in competitions. Logically, he should be able to be directly recruited by a top university with a full scholarship. I don't know why he came here. He wrote that he wanted to get healing and warmth."
"Fuck! Kevin, that guy probably won't be able to heal his back injury for the rest of his life!"
In a dark alley in New York, a drunk white youth was smashed to the ground like a broken sack by a powerful back throw, and even his chest made a dull sound!
The tall and strong white high school student called Kevin by his companions did not even look at the opponent he had knocked down, and turned to walk out of the alley.
"You damn little bastard, I want..." The drunkard stood up shakily, took out a folding knife from his pocket, and rushed towards Kevin!
"Tell me on my behalf, officer, he attacked me and was armed, and I had to defend myself."
After Kevin finished speaking to his companion, he dodged the drunkard's attack with a flexible sliding step that was completely inconsistent with his sturdy body, then hugged the drunkard's waist with both hands, exerted force suddenly! He leaned back and smashed the white man headfirst to the ground with a human pile driver.
There was a thud from the ground! Kevin let go of his hand, and the drunkard, who was hit headfirst, fell to the ground like a noodle, completely passed out and didn't move.
"You saw it. He intended to hurt someone, officer." Kevin stood up, rubbed his waist, walked to his companion, picked up a Gatorade in the other's hand, and poured it into his mouth.
His companion, a black policeman who also looked young, was looking at the white man on the ground and swallowing nervously.
"Kevin, New York may need Spider-Man in the comics, but it may not be needed in reality... Thanks to you accompanying me on patrol, I have already arrested seventeen bastards this week. The captain has advised me to be more sensible and not to use such heavy hands again, so that taxpayers' money will not be spent on treating these bastards."
"You will be promoted soon. We are like Batman and Commissioner Gordon. If you can't handle something, I will help you solve it." After drinking the Gatorade, Kevin patted the other person's shoulder and said.
The policeman exhaled, "I think you are using these unlucky guys to vent your anger about being forced to say goodbye to your career. It has nothing to do with justice. Kevin, let these poor thugs go. They are not heinous murderers, but just guys with bad behavior. Yesterday, a black idiot broke his pelvis because of you . Because he kept covering his vagina and screaming, a rookie doctor in the emergency room of a public hospital misjudged him or was just taking revenge. Anyway, although the guy's bones were finally reconnected, his two balls were cut off."
"Today is the last day. I'm going to attend a summer camp tomorrow." Kevin took the coat from the other person, put it on, and walked out of the alley.
"Sixth place, Frank Grillo, is an Italian-American high school student from Rockland County Public High School in New York. He was once the top-ranked American wrestler in the Rockland County High School League. He hopes to gain honors through the summer camp, get into a prestigious school, and learn to be independent. I think he can act as the security guard of this summer camp with the guy named Kevin above."
In a detached house in the suburbs of Rockland County, New York, on a homemade swing in the backyard, a high school student with a fierce face and a strong body was swinging on the small swing that was obviously not suitable for his body.
"Frank, are you listening to me and playing in the backyard?" A gentle female voice sounded in the room.
The high school student responded glumly, "Here I am, Mom! Sitting on the swing like I did when I was four years old, having fun."
"Okay, I prepared fourteen pairs of underwear in your suitcase. Do you think that's enough for you to change?" the woman asked loudly.
Frank lowered his head and sighed in despair.
"Frank~ Mom is asking you ~"
A neighbor next door responded loudly in her own home with a mocking tone: "If Frank's butt is not a metal product polished by a machine tool, I think it's good enough, Mrs. Grillo!"
Then he leaned his head out and said to Frank Grillo, who was swinging with his head down, "I envy you for almost graduating from high school and never having washed your underwear by yourself. Frank, it's so lucky to be an Italian. I have a feeling that everyone in that summer camp can be your babysitter. When you see them, wish them good luck for me."
"Seventh place, Stephen Bean, is a perfect rich boy. He is an elite high school student who had already reserved a place at Stanford University based on his ability before joining this summer camp. He wrote that he was bored and waiting for something, but he didn't say what he was waiting for."
Dolan Clinic of Advanced Psychology, Manhattan, New York.
Stephen Bean was lying on the recliner opposite psychiatrist Dolan with a smile on his face. He closed his eyes and said in a relaxed tone:
"I have grown up happily, at least happier than most of my American peers. On the first day I got my driver's license, my family gave me a limited edition Lotus sports car. When I got my small aircraft license, my family gave me a small plane, which was all red and very dazzling. By the way, I also have three arcade machines at home loaded with the latest games..."
"Stephen, you know that my father has been the Psychologist of the Bean family, right? My father and I have served the Bean family for decades. I said that you are suffering from a mental illness now, and it is getting worse. Your efforts to hide from me are ineffective." The doctor interrupted Stephen and spoke.
Stephen laughed. "Don't be ridiculous, Dr. Dolan. How is that possible? You know, my grandfather is lying in the hospital with all kinds of tubes inserted in his body, waiting to die. I just have to wait for him to close his eyes completely. According to his will, I will inherit a large sum of money. After deducting taxes, it will be about 600 million US dollars. I don't think I will have a mental illness under such circumstances. If hope can be considered a mental illness, then I may have it."
"Yes, of course I know about this. On the surface, your performance surpasses that of your other brothers and sisters. You are undoubtedly the most outstanding young man of this generation in the Bean family. But I can say with certainty, Steve, that in the past 18 years, in order to become the most outstanding heir to the Bean family, you have suffered from depression, autism, and emotional disorders. According to my understanding of mental illness, after inheriting the property, you will undoubtedly suffer from sudden wealth and emptiness syndrome, as well as alcoholism, drug addiction and other serious substance dependence diseases. I suggest that you..."
"Shut up! Dr. Dolan!" Stephen Bean stood up suddenly from the recliner and stared fiercely at the psychiatrist opposite him: "There's nothing fucking wrong with me! Soon, I'll be the richest 18-year-old in this country! I will have everything! Whatever I lacked before, I will get after I gain wealth!"
After that, Stephen Bean picked up his backpack and walked out the door, saying in an irritable tone, "I'm going to attend a summer camp to pass the time waiting for my grandfather to die. I don't have time to visit you this month, Dr. Dolan. Also, next time you see me, remember to respect me like my grandfather, because then I will decide whether I need you to continue to serve the Bean family."
"Yeah, my advice is that you should go to a summer camp or something like that and make some friends before you inherit the fortune." Looking at the empty recliner, Dr. Dolan shrugged and said, "Right decision."
