Volume 1 Beginning of Summer Chapter 4 Room Types
Jiang You looked outside, walked to the door of the shop, closed it, locked it, and went upstairs.
The space upstairs is divided into two bedrooms, one large and one small, a bathroom and a very small living room.
Just like downstairs, it was exceptionally clean.
Tang Butian looked at the master bedroom first. There was a bedside table against the wall on one side of the bed, and an iPad was placed on the table. There was a convenient clothes hanger in front of the window on the other side, hanging a beige jacket, a light blue shirt and two T-shirts. She squatted down, lifted the bed sheet, and looked under the bed. There were two storage boxes and a pair of slippers under the bed. There were folded clothes in the storage boxes. She stood up and walked into the second bedroom. There was only a bed in the second bedroom, and a few boxes were piled against the wall.
Jiang You leaned on the handrail of the stairs and watched Tang Butian return to the living room after walking around.
"How is it? What do you think?"
"You live alone?"
"right."
"There are two bedrooms."
“Occasionally, friends stay over.”
"You have yin-yang eyes?"
Jiang You raised his eyebrows, "Sometimes you can see things that others can't see."
Tang Butian raised the plastic bag again, "What did you see?"
"There seem to be some gray bubbles entangled in my hair," Jiang You said with uncertainty in his voice, "I don't know what that is."
"Why did you take it?"
"My tenant jumped off the building. He didn't have a girlfriend, and neither did his roommate Xiao Zou. His mother's hair wasn't this long, and it looked a bit strange, so I thought it would be better to take it away," Jiang You walked into the living room and sat down on the sofa. "I was still wondering where to throw this thing. Now that the problem has been solved, thank you, police officer, can you sit for a moment?"
Tang Butian sat down on the sofa chair to the left of Jiang You.
"Is there anything else you want to know?"
"Business is bad?"
"Normally, today is a weekday, not many people here, it's much better on weekends and holidays. Would you like to buy a postcard to take care of the business? Leave an address, you can choose one month later, three months later..."
"Are you making money?" Tang Butian interrupted Jiang You again.
"I also have an online store, so I can definitely make enough money to pay for water, electricity and food."
“Why did you sell the house last year?”
"It was too tiring," Jiang You spread his hands. "I had an Excel spreadsheet at the time, recording the repayment date for each card, the interest-free period, the number of transactions required to waive the annual fee, the different types of goods required, and how to increase the credit limit. Sometimes they transferred the rent to me a day late, so I had to borrow money. It was very hard. So I sold it."
“Why did you buy this shop?”
“The location is good, and you can pay with credit cards, and cash out your credit card. Anyone who uses credit cards knows how to do that.”
"You're very cooperative."
"These are all recorded. I can't fake them."
"What do you think about Liang Hao's matter?"
"I don't know him well. We've only had dinner together two or three times."
“You’re also a computer science major.”
"I haven't even graduated yet, and I've returned everything I learned to my teachers. Would you like something to drink? We have Coke, Sprite, lemon Vita..." Jiang You stood up, walked to the small refrigerator and opened the door.
"You drink it, I don't need it."
Jiang You took out a can of Coke. He walked back to the sofa and sat down. He pulled the ring and white smoke came out of the opening. He took a big sip and said, "It's only May and it's already so hot."
"Liang Hao, do you think he committed suicide?"
Jiang You took another sip of Coke, "If he committed suicide," he looked up at Tang Butian. Her facial features were extremely delicate, but her expression was indifferent and distant, "Will you come over?"
"You need to register."
"Okay, when? Where do I register?"
"You have no objection?"
"Why object?"
"Do you know that the country has relevant departments?"
"I guess so. Since I can see some things, it means that a large number of people can also see them. They may be able to see more, and even have methods to control and use these things. Then there must be relevant departments to regulate and restrict them," Jiang You smiled. "I think it's good to manage it this way."
"Have you considered going into the Special Incidents Unit?"
"It depends on the treatment. If I'm not too busy, I still have a store to run. Why, you don't regard me as the murderer of Liang Hao?"
"Still a suspect."
"He wants to buy a house." Jiang You sat up slightly.
“Buy a house?”
Jiang You nodded and twirled the can of Coke in his hand. "He treated me to a meal of dumplings before the Lunar New Year for this purpose, so I know it quite well. He has been working for nearly three years and has saved about 100,000 yuan. He has shares of Xiaozha Technology, which are worth about 300,000 yuan. Xiaozha Technology is about to go public, so he said his family can come up with another 100,000 yuan, which means he has more than 500,000 yuan," Jiang You recalled. "He wants to buy a house in Lanxinyuan. According to the current housing prices, he may not have enough for the down payment, so he wants to use his credit card to get another 100,000 yuan."
"What did you say to him?"
"I talked about some ideas. Now there are strict restrictions on credit cards, and many methods used in the past can no longer be used."
"You know that new project he's working on?"
Jiang You shook his head.
"Who do you think killed him?"
Jiang You laughed. "If I knew, I would report it to the police. Add WeChat? I can report to you anything I think of or see occasionally."
Tang Butian pursed her pale lips and took out her cell phone.
Jiang You clicked on the QR code of the business card. His profile picture was a photo of the door of the insect house. Tang Butian scanned it and Jiang You saw her profile picture, which was a landscape photo. He couldn't recognize where it was.
After adding friends, Tang Butian stood up and said, "I'm leaving."
Jiang You walked her downstairs and asked, "You really don't want to buy some postcards?"
He unlocked the door.
Tang Butian glanced at the three postcards on the counter and said, "Just those three. Send them to me in three years. Write the address to the Municipal Public Security Bureau and write Tang Butian as the recipient."
"Don't you want to write something on it?"
"unnecessary."
"Shall I pick a stamp of suitable style and put it on for you?"
"It's up to you. How much is it?"
"Fifty, I'll give you a discount."
"Okay, I'll send you a WeChat message."
Jiang You watched Tang Butian walk out of the door, her pleated skirt swaying gently with her steps.
He walked to the counter, put down the can of Coke, and picked up the postcards, all three of which were ancient-style. He opened the drawer, picked out three small-size stamps of poetry and prose, pasted them on, and then put the postcards into the brown paper bags of the corresponding years and months.
The phone screen lit up.
He saw the WeChat red envelope that Tang Butian sent him.
He received the red envelope and opened Tang Butian’s circle of friends, which was blank.
