Chapter 7 Missing You
The teacher qualification certificate examination was over and the results came out one day later.
Qin Ye lived up to everyone's expectations and passed the exam.
In order to celebrate for her, Dan Xiaotian and Juzi asked Fatty Lin to go to a bar and booked a private room.
The owner of this bar is a young and handsome boy named Zhang Ao. The bar also has a very unique name, called "Pirate".
This reminded Qin Ye of a game related to a pirate captain.
But Dan Xiaotian and Juzi were so inconsiderate that they told Qin Ye the news while she was out shopping.
Late at night, it was raining heavily outside, and the raindrops hitting the ground splashed into bubbles the size of a baby's fist.
"Don't rush me. I don't have an umbrella and it's raining, so I can't go." Qin Ye hid under the eaves of the supermarket depressed, holding the sanitary napkin in his arms and having a headache.
Because she stayed up late to review in the past few days, her period came early, so she had to go out to buy sanitary napkins.
"I'll call a car for you. Oh, forget it. Zhang Ao and I will pick you up together." Shan Xiaotian said and hung up the phone without waiting for Qin Ye to speak.
Half an hour later, a black new X-Trail stopped in front of the supermarket.
Shan Xiaotian got out of the car holding a big black umbrella, hurried over to pull Qin Ye under the umbrella and took him into the car.
After getting in the car, Shan Xiaotian pointed at Zhang Ao and said to Qin Ye: "Sister Qin Ye, let me introduce you."
"My name is Zhang Ao." The car started and drove out, and Zhang Ao introduced himself before Shan Xiaotian.
Shan Xiaotian smiled and said, "Yes, he is the owner of the Pirate Bar. This, this is Qin Ye, my tutor. She is the protagonist today."
"Oh? Is that the one who wants to be a teacher?" Zhang Ao glanced at Qin Ye in the rearview mirror. She lowered her eyes, feeling a little uneasy.
This reminded Zhang Ao of someone, a girl he met many years ago.
Shan Xiaotian was still chatting with Zhang Ao, but Qin Ye was fidgeting.
She felt a little uncomfortable in her lower body, so she reached under her butt and found something sticky on it.
Qin Ye looked down and saw that it was really her period!
This was embarrassing. She got into someone else's car and soiled the seat. What should she do? But she was too embarrassed to say it out loud...
Zhang Ao noticed Qin Ye's uneasiness and asked, "Teacher, what's wrong?"
Shan Xiaotian turned his head and saw that Qin Ye was a little nervous, so he asked: "Sister Qin Ye, are you okay? Are you feeling unwell?"
Qin Ye pursed his lips and asked hastily, "When will it arrive?"
"It's almost there, just bear with it." Shan Xiaotian said easily, unaware of Qin Ye's nervousness.
Qin Ye felt like sitting on pins and needles. The car passed through the busy street, passed by the quiet alley, drove into the busy street again, and then drove into the parking lot of a bar.
After getting off the bus, Qin Ye followed Dan Xiaotian and the others to the private room of the Pirate Bar, and first went to the bathroom inside to solve her own embarrassing problem. Then, she came out and whispered to Ju Zi, asking her to go out and buy her a pair of underwear.
Then, she hid the wet handkerchief in her bag, and asked Zhang Ao for the key, saying that she had left something in the car, and went to the parking lot.
Qin Ye opened the car door and squatted in front of it, wiping the red stain on the car seat. He said to himself as he wiped: "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I really didn't mean it. Don't blame me. I will wipe it clean for you. I'm sorry..."
Qin Ye kept muttering to himself as if he had a guilty conscience.
Suddenly, a dark shadow loomed over from behind. Qin Ye was so frightened that he froze and didn't even dare to breathe.
"Teacher, what are you doing?" Zhang Ao had already noticed that something was wrong with Qin Ye, so he followed her out while she was taking the key.
Qin Ye stood up suddenly, but was hit on the head. She shrank her neck in pain and said quickly, "It's okay! I'm looking for something."
Zhang Ao leaned against the car door, a smile that showed he knew everything already hung on his face, and said, "You're just looking for something. Have you found it? If not, I can help you."
"Found it!" Qin Ye raised the handkerchief in her hand and said, "I'll go back first! Thank you!" Then, Qin Ye bowed to Zhang Ao and ran away as if escaping. Halfway through, she returned embarrassedly and handed the car keys to Zhang Ao.
Zhang Ao couldn't help but find it funny when he saw her rash and panicked look.
Zhang Ao joined the gathering of Qin Ye and the other three people.
For some reason, Qin Ye would avoid Zhang Ao's gaze whenever she saw him. She always felt that Zhang Ao was very sharp and could see through everyone's heart.
But Qin Ye still didn't understand something. After getting to know Zhang Ao, he learned that he was already 28 years old. How did the 18-year-old Shan Xiaotian know him? It was strange that they had such a good relationship.
After the party ended that day, Zhang Ao handed Qin Ye a business card, telling her that she could contact him if she had any questions and that she was always welcome at the Pirate Bar.
Qin Ye took the business card and quickly dodged, pulling Orange away with him.
Zhang Ao laughed loudly behind him, then he put his hands on his hips and exclaimed, "It's exactly like them."
Like Lu Nanan who was choked by a few words from me many years ago and blushed, but Lu Nanan hasn't come back for a long time.
Zhang Ao only knew that Nan'an found Lin Yaoguang, and then Chen You also got married.
All the friends I met during those years have gone on to live their own lives.
Only Zhang Ao remained in the Pirate Bar. He had heard Nan'an's ten-year story, and many other people's ten-year stories. He had been listening and was used to it.
In his world, there are only other people's stories. He sealed up his own story and continued to wander alone in the world of feasting and drinking.
After the party, Qin Ye will get back to work.
The school would arrange a place for those who wanted to stay as teachers in the Chinese Department. Qin Ye was arranged to go to Baihe Primary School in Ancheng, which was exactly what Qin Ye wanted.
Elementary school courses are far less complicated than those in junior high and high school, and elementary school is an enlightenment course, so it is easier for students to do their best to let them show their individuality from the starting line.
The night before reporting to school, the lights in Qin Ye's dormitory were on until three in the morning.
Under the streetlight at the windowsill, there were two people standing, leaning against a motorcycle parked on the roadside and looking up at the building.
One was Fatty Lin, who had passed the internship at the game company, and the other was Su Yuwei. He was wearing camouflage uniforms, with darker skin and more prominent features.
"Are you really not going to go see her? You finally get to come back." Fatty Lin looked at his disappointing brother and asked helplessly.
Su Yuwei shook his head.
Fatty Lin sighed and said, "Your dad is such a jerk. You could have been discharged a long time ago, but he secretly signed you up as a non-commissioned officer. You have to stay in the army for a few more years."
"Just stay. I'm used to it." Su Yuwei took off the gloves on his hands and put them in his pockets, and asked, "Fatty, didn't Qin Xiaoye mention me? Not even a little bit?"
Fatty Lin thought for a moment and said, "Not really. When you first left, she asked me if you had contacted me. I said no, and then she never asked again."
"Is there anyone pursuing her?" Su Yuwei asked worriedly.
Fatty Lin laughed and said, "Does Shan Xiaotian count? But Qin Ye is going to be a teacher at Baihe Primary School soon. I don't know if there are any teachers in the school who like her. Oh, she's already 22 years old, it's time for her to fall in love."
Hearing this, Su Yuwei pinched the flesh on Fatty Lin's body and threatened: "You fat bastard! I'm telling you, you have to help me watch her and don't let other men get close to her! Do you understand?"
"Su Yuwei!" Fatty Lin dodged Su Yuwei's attack and said impatiently, "Don't let other men get close to her, so you want to delay her youth? You didn't make any promises to Qin Ye, why can't she accept the kindness of others?"
"I..." Su Yuwei was speechless.
Yes, he had never made a promise to her, and she was not his. Why did he order other men not to get close to Qin Ye?
But Su Yuwei wrote so many letters to Qin Ye, and he included his address in every letter he wrote. But he never received a reply from Qin Ye, so he didn't know whether Qin Ye received the letter or not.
"Did she mention Ding Shaocheng?" Su Yuwei asked again depressedly.
"Not at all. After Ding Shaocheng left, Qin Ye never mentioned Ding Shaocheng again." Fatty Lin comforted Su Yuwei. Besides, what he said was true.
"Then I feel relieved." Su Yuwei suddenly felt a lot more at ease. Compared to this, doesn't it mean that he is more important to Qin Ye than Ding Shaocheng is to her?
Fatty Lin didn't know where Su Yuwei got his sense of pride and security from. Seeing him turn around and leave, he asked, "Are you leaving now?"
"I don't have much time." Su Yuwei said as he walked.
"Does that guy really trust Qin Ye?" Fatty Lin looked at Su Yuwei who didn't even turn his head back, and couldn't help feeling sad for him.
Poor Su Yuwei, if Qin Ye is kidnapped by someone one day, he will regret it to death!
But Fatty Lin didn't know that Su Yuwei wanted to see Qin Ye more than anyone else. But he came to Ancheng for military reasons and stayed for less than a day.
What should he do if he feels overwhelmed with longing for her when he sees her?
He was afraid to look into Qin Ye's eyes, afraid to see the hesitation in her heart, so if he couldn't stay with her forever, then he would not meet her.
In the dormitory, Qin Ye folded Su Yuwei's letter, which he had read again, into the drawer, then turned off the lights and climbed onto the bed to sleep.
I don't know when it started, but Su Yuwei's letters have become her motivation. Whenever she is unhappy, she takes out Su Yuwei's letters and reads them. The funny style of the letters can also make her happy.
Lying on the bed, Qin Ye closed his eyes peacefully.
Good night, night , good night, sweet dreams.
The next day, Qin Ye went to school to register. She took over the second grade class. The original head teacher was unable to continue teaching because she was pregnant.
The head teacher sent Qin Ye to class and then left. Qin Ye was left standing on the podium, looking at the thirty or so pairs of bright and innocent eyes in the classroom looking at her curiously.
Qin Ye turned around and wrote his name on the blackboard. He said to the students, "Hello, students. I am your internship class teacher. I will take over from Teacher Bai to teach you. My name is Qin Ye. Qin is the Qin of Qin Shi Huang, and Ye means sparkling."
There seems to be nothing wrong with this self-introduction, right? Qin Ye looked at the group of children nervously.
"Teacher Qin, what is Qin Shi Huang?"
"I know, I know. Qin Shi Huang was an emperor in ancient times."
"Teacher Qin, did Teacher Bai go to have a baby?"
"Teacher Qin looks so young. Did you give birth to a baby?"
Everyone started talking at once, and Qin Ye was a little confused. Qin Ye tapped the podium with his fingers and smiled gently, "You have raised so many questions, so I will answer them one by one. But before answering, we have to play a game."
"What game!" The seven or eight-year-old children suddenly became excited.
Qin Ye held the student list and deliberately made himself sound cute: "Well... I'm going to call out the names of the students now. Whoever's name I call out will introduce themselves. The self-introduction should include your name, hobbies, and future dreams. After the self-introduction, the teacher will answer one of your questions."
It was so relaxing, and everyone's excitement was ignited.
Just when Qin Ye thought he had the situation under control, a voice of "childish" came from the corner.
Qin Ye looked in the direction of the voice and checked the seating chart again, and discovered that the boy was called Zhou Jichen, and was a somewhat stubborn little fat boy.
Qin Ye recalled that when he was in the second grade of elementary school, he regarded every word the teacher said as a sacred will. In the eyes of those little kids, teachers were the smartest people in the world because they knew everything.
But times have changed now. Many children’s lives have become more affluent, and they are learning more and more things faster and faster. At a very young age, they can leave an adult speechless.
After Qin Ye got to know everyone in the class, he asked everyone to write their dreams on sticky notes and stick them on the blackboard at the back of the classroom. Qin Ye found those bizarre dreams very cute, but Zhou Jichen's dream was not on the blackboard, and Zhou Jichen said he had no dream.
Qin Ye looked at Zhou Jichen, who didn't fit in with everyone else, and thought helplessly, it seems that this teacher still needs to put in some effort to do a good job.
Fortunately, when Qin Ye took over, summer vacation was coming soon and all the children were on vacation.
The biggest advantage of being a teacher is probably that you have winter and summer vacations just like when you were a student.
This summer vacation also means Qin Ye officially graduated from college and entered the society. On the day of taking graduation photos, Qin Ye ran to find Fatty Lin as soon as she finished taking them. She looked outside Fatty Lin's class for a long time but didn't see Su Yuwei.
Juzi hugged her from behind and asked, "Who are you looking at?"
"No one." Qin Ye was a little disappointed and asked, "Juzi, let's go back to Fengcheng together?"
"I can't do it. You have summer vacation but I don't. Now is the period for the company to become a regular employee. I can't take leave and can't make any mistakes." Orange looked at Qin Ye with a pitiful look, begging for forgiveness. Qin Ye felt soft-hearted and said helplessly, "Okay then, have pity on me, come on." As he said that, Qin Ye scratched Orange's head and smiled as he touched her soft hair.
The sunlight finally peeked out from behind the clouds, and the greenery in front of the entire teaching building was shrouded in the lazy sunshine, which also overflowed on the youthful and energetic faces of the graduates.
Time really flies. Qin Ye, who ran away from home in a fit of anger and came to Ancheng early, has now graduated.
Looking at the senior student behind him who was wearing the same bachelor's gown as himself, Qin Ye asked: "Juzi, do you think Su Yuwei will graduate directly after returning or continue to complete his studies?"
"Let me finish my studies." thought Orange.
Qin Ye sighed, looked towards the distant horizon, and murmured, "When will he come back?"
When will he come back? She hasn't received a letter from him for a long, long time.
Has he forgotten her?
Why am I so melancholy this summer?
Never mind. Qin Ye turned away for a distance and called his family, telling them that he would be back tomorrow.
Qin's mother prepared a large table of delicious food for Qin Ye's return, but when Qin Ye returned home after viewing the scenery along the way on the train for four hours and dragging a large red suitcase, she was stunned.
There were three people sitting in the house whom she had never seen before, a young, gentle man wearing glasses, and a couple who were about the same age as her parents.
Forget it, Qin Ye knew what this was, so he just left it to fate.
"Xiaoye, come here quickly, put your things down and come eat." Qin's mother pulled Qin Ye over, and Qin Ye sat down at the table. The gentle man with glasses kept glancing at him. Qin Ye lowered his head and took a look at his outfit: long hair, white T-shirt, light blue denim shorts. Well, there's nothing wrong.
"Xiao Ye, this is Uncle Han and Aunt Han, and this is their son Han Feng. He is 26 years old and works in a state-owned enterprise, earning ten thousand yuan a month." Mother Qin explained to Qin Ye one by one, but there were too many lines introducing Han Feng, right?
"Ah, Uncle Han and Aunt Han, hello. I often hear my parents mention you." Qin Ye greeted them with a smile, his voice as sweet as honey. "Xiao Ye didn't know you were coming to our house today, so I didn't have time to prepare gifts. Try my mom's cooking. It's delicious. The food in restaurants outside doesn't taste as good as this."
Han's father and mother liked Qin Ye's enthusiastic personality and kept praising her at the dinner table. This made Qin's father and mother a little uncomfortable. Qin Ye's personality was not so enthusiastic. This was clearly a show she made up. She just didn't want to give them the opportunity to mention introducing a partner.
"Uncle and aunt, you guys eat first. I need to take all the luggage back and pack it up. I'll come out to accompany you later." Qin Ye said, and without waiting for Han's father and mother to nod, he hurriedly ran to move the suitcases.
Han's mother immediately shouted, "Feng'er, why don't you go and help them?"
As soon as Han Feng stood up, Qin Ye waved his hand and said, "No, no, no need to bother. I have already moved back from Ancheng, so how can I not move into the bedroom?"
Han Feng came over, took the suitcase from her without saying anything, and said, "Let me do it. Girls shouldn't do such heavy work."
Qin Ye smiled, thinking how could carrying a suitcase be considered heavy work?
Qin's mother kept praising Han Feng: This child is so good, this child is really kind and gentle to women, this child is a perfect match for our Xiaoye.
hehe.
Qin Ye rolled his eyes at them and followed Han Feng into his bedroom.
"Put it anywhere." Qin Ye pointed to a place and said, "Thank you."
"You're welcome." Han Feng put away his luggage, clapped his hands, and asked, "Um...Xiao Ye, is there anything else I can help you with?"
"No more. You can go out and accompany my mother and the others." Qin Ye smiled and pointed at the door.
Han Feng nodded, looked back at Qin Ye every few steps, and finally walked out, and Qin Ye closed the door.
Qin Ye leaned against the door and fanned herself with her palms. Finally, she turned on the air conditioner, took out all the things in the suitcase and put them away, and temporarily put the gifts she bought for her parents in the room.
Then, Qin Ye went out and watched a melodramatic Taiwanese TV series with Han's father and mother.
Mother Qin came out after washing the dishes and said, "Xiaoye, I'll take your aunt Han and uncle out for a stroll tonight. You and Xiaofeng can go out and have fun on your own, okay?"
"Mom, I have a party tonight." Qin Ye made an excuse to decline.
"Then take Xiaofeng with you. You are all young people and can chat with each other." said Qin's mother.
But mom, young people may not be able to chat well with each other, do you understand?
But Qin's mother totally couldn't understand the reluctance on Qin Ye's face, and she and Qin's father happily took Han's father and mother out.
Qin Ye remained silent.
Han Feng sat next to Qin Ye stiffly, and spoke after a while: "Xiao Ye, it won't be a bother for me to attend your friend's party, right?"
Qin Ye pretended to look at her phone and suddenly realized: "I remembered it wrong. It's not today, so it won't be a problem." After that, she smiled at Han Feng.
Han Feng breathed a sigh of relief, and took the initiative to invite Qin Ye, saying: "Then is it convenient for you to go out for a walk later? If you want to eat anything, I will treat you."
"But I just had dinner." Qin Ye looked at Han Feng innocently, and Han Feng suddenly became nervous again.
"My parents left you to me, so I have to be responsible for you, right? Then let's go out for a walk, just as a way to digest the food." Seeing Han Feng's look, Qin Ye didn't want to make things difficult for both parents, so he picked up his bag and said to him.
Han Feng stood up and nodded: "Okay, I'll listen to you."
Qin Ye and Han Feng went out. It was getting dark outside, and the stuffiness during the day was reduced a lot. There were many old men playing chess in the community, fanning themselves with cattail leaves while discussing tactics, and some old people and women playing with their children. It was really out of place for Qin Ye and Han Feng to walk here.
The atmosphere was silent. Han Feng brought up the topic and asked, "Xiao Ye, what are you doing in Ancheng?"
"Teacher, an elementary school teacher, still doing internship." Qin Ye said with a smile as he watched the children running past him and chasing each other.
"Being a teacher is good, the job is stable," said Han Feng.
Qin Ye laughed dryly, but she didn't become a teacher just because of the stable job.
After walking for an unknown amount of time, Qin Ye suddenly stopped and turned to face Han Feng. Han Feng looked at her strangely, and Qin Ye said straight to the point: "Han Feng, you should know what our parents are doing, right? I'll tell you the truth, I don't want to fall in love now, so when you go back, please tell your parents that you and I are not suitable."
Han Feng asked in confusion: "You don't want to fall in love? Why? Xiaoye, you are already 22 years old, it's time to fall in love."
"So what if I'm 22?" Qin Ye frowned and said unhappily, "Is it time to fall in love and go on blind dates at 22? Does that mean I have to get married and have children in two years? Not getting married and having children is a great rebellion and is intolerable to heaven and earth, and will be despised by the world?"
"That's not what I meant." Han Feng stepped back and waved his hands to explain, "What I meant is...what I want to express is that we are all adults, so why not give it a try first? How do you know you don't want to be in a relationship if you haven't tried it?"
"I don't want to try, and I don't have any feelings for you." Qin Ye said coldly.
Han Feng suddenly didn't know what to say. In his circle of friends, Han Feng was considered a talented man with both money and good looks. There were many girls who wanted to rely on him, but Han Feng didn't like them. When Han's mother gave Han Feng a photo of Qin Ye that day, Han Feng wanted to meet her. He liked girls like Qin Ye who looked quiet, but after meeting her, Han Feng felt that Qin Ye was like a hedgehog.
It's the kind of hedgehog that will prick you if you get even a little bit closer.
"Xiaoye, do you have someone you like?" Han Feng asked tentatively.
Qin Ye wanted to say no, but was afraid that Han Feng would come and pester him again, so he said, "Yes, I have someone I like, and I promised him that I would wait for him to come back. I can't go back on my word."
Unconsciously, Su Yuwei was used as a shield.
But when Qin Ye said this, the first person she thought of was Su Yuwei. The words "I promised him that I would wait for him to come back" seemed to be what she wanted to say before Su Yuwei left.
But she never said it. Three years later, when she said it in this way, she was surprised to find that Su Yuwei held such an important position in her heart.
Qin Ye's eyes drooped and he missed Su Yuwei.
"So that's how it is." Han Feng said with some regret, "It seems that my luck is not good enough. Xiaoye, can I know who that person is?"
"No." Qin Ye raised his head and said, "I'm sorry, Han Feng."
"It doesn't matter. If we can't be lovers, we can still be friends. Don't say sorry." Han Feng smiled.
Qin Ye turned around and walked back, saying, "I'm a little tired. I'd better go back and rest first. I've been on the train all afternoon today."
Han Feng looked at Qin Ye's leaving back, knowing that even if he chased after him, he would not be able to change the facts, so he gave up in frustration.
After Qin Ye returned home, she took out the letter Su Yuwei had written to her. She folded all the letters under her pillow, then lay on the bed and slowly fell asleep. After an unknown amount of time, Qin Ye was awakened by a deafening knock on the door. She vaguely heard Qin's father and mother outside blaming her for standing up Han Feng. Qin Ye took out her phone, plugged in headphones, turned on the music player, turned up the volume to the maximum and continued to sleep.
No one can change her decision, no one!
Far in the north, the shouts of new soldiers training could be heard in the night. In the dormitory with the lights on, Su Yuwei was lying on the table writing a letter. Most of the ink had been used up, and the garbage dump was already filled with crumpled white paper.
I use up a lot of stationery every time I write a letter, but the stack of stationery I just bought can only be used for writing twice.
Teammates often tease Su Yuwei: "If you really want someone, call them."
Qin Ye's phone number was almost torn apart in Su Yuwei's address book, and he had never called. Another hour passed, and Su Yuwei finally packed up the letter and ran out to mail it.
In front of the mailbox, Su Yuwei clasped his hands together as usual and said, "Please receive a reply this time." Then he threw the envelope into the mailbox.
As soon as Su Yuwei left, a person came out from the dark. She ran to the mailbox, took out the envelope that Su Yuwei had just thrown in, secretly hid it in her arms and took it away.
She had intercepted many of Su Yuwei's letters in this way, so she knew that Su Yuwei had someone outside the army whom he had always been concerned about. This person's name was Qin Ye.
Just as she turned to leave, an angry voice rang out from behind her: "Cheng Miao!"
Cheng Miao was shocked and ran away. Su Yuwei rushed over, grabbed her throat and pressed her to the ground. With red eyes, he yelled at her: "Why! Did you steal every letter I sent out?"
He knew that he had sent so many letters that Qin Ye couldn't possibly not receive any of them. If he hadn't remembered that he had something to say to Qin Ye, so he turned back, he probably wouldn't have known that Cheng Miao had intercepted his letter.
"So what if it's me?" Cheng Miao pushed Su Yuwei away, looked around carefully, and growled in a low voice, "I'm not happy!"
"Why are you doing this? What does it have to do with you? Give it to me!" Su Yuwei stretched out his hand towards Cheng Miao.
"I won't give it to you. Did you read the recruit manual in vain? And you dare to send a letter back from the army. Do you want to live?" Cheng Miao covered his clothes and said reasonably.
Cheng Miao is a female soldier who joined the same unit as Su Yuwei in the same year but in a different class. She is called a fighter among female soldiers by the male soldiers. She is not inferior to male soldiers in various trainings, and more importantly, she has a fierce personality and no one dares to provoke her.
But it was this kind of Cheng Miao who fell in love with Su Yuwei when she first joined the army.
After learning about Su Yuwei's little secret of sending letters, she would interfere every time, put the letters in her pocket, and steal more of Su Yuwei's little secrets.
"My letter doesn't convey any confidential matters. Why can't it be sent?" Su Yuwei said seriously.
"Okay then, come and get it." Cheng Miao let go of his hand and said with his chest puffed out.
Su Yuwei frowned, pulled her hand and reached into her clothes. Cheng Miao didn't expect Su Yuwei to really search her body, so she slapped him in the face and scolded him, "You bastard!"
Then she walked away angrily with heavy steps.
Su Yuwei rubbed his red cheeks and retorted through gritted teeth: "Gossip!"
He hated Cheng Miao to death. He thought Qin Ye couldn't receive the letter, and thought that Qin Ye would not reply to him or pay attention to him even if he received it. He thought of many possibilities, but he didn't expect that the letter he wrote to Qin Ye would be intercepted by someone else, and the contents of the letter would be read.
That night, Su Yuwei ran around the training ground until he was sweating profusely before returning to the dormitory. He wanted to vent, but there was nowhere to vent. He wanted to miss someone, but there was no one to miss.
He won't be able to write to Qin Ye anymore, so what should he do when he misses her?
I thought I could forget Qin Ye after joining the army, but I didn't expect that I would miss her more and more.
That night, Su Yuwei did not sleep at all.
That same night, although Qin Ye slept soundly, he woke up early the next morning and was scolded by his parents while he was brushing his teeth.
They said that her standards were higher than the sky and that she didn't even look down on a man as good as Han Feng. They also asked her who the person she liked was and whether it was Su Yuwei. If it was Su Yuwei, they would never allow her to be with him.
Qin Ye ignored their Tang Monk and went out bored. Although it was hot outside, it was better than listening to parents nagging, right? She was only 22 years old, and they were in a hurry to marry her off.
No way.
Qin Ye went to the mall to cool off, and then called Yina to go shopping. Yina was about to enter her junior year, and she would soon start her internship. I remembered that a few years ago, Yina was still a little girl who sang and danced in front of relatives, but now she has grown up.
Time is really unforgiving.
Just when Qin Ye was hiding in the rest area of the shopping mall, lamenting the difficulties of life and the fleeting time, Ina came. Not only did she come, she also brought her boyfriend!
This boyfriend is her high school classmate - Ye Ming!
"Qin Ye, long time no see." Ye Ming, who looked clean and cheerful, smiled and stretched out his right hand towards Qin Ye. Qin Ye was stunned. Is this handsome Ye Ming in front of him really the dark and a little nearsighted Ye Ming back then?
Yina saw Qin Ye's shock and said with a smile: "I modified it. Isn't it good?"
"Not bad, very good!" Qin Ye exclaimed in surprise, this is not called transformation, this is called plastic surgery! Oh no, this is called a whole skin surgery!
The old friends were very excited to meet each other. Qin Ye smiled and said, "What do you two want to eat? I'll treat you."
"Let Ye Ming treat us, let's go to Spike." Ina said with a smile, taking Ye Ming's hand.
So they went to eat at Spike.
During the meal and chat, Qin Ye learned that Yina was with Ye Ming in her freshman year, and she was admitted to Ye Ming's school. Ye Ming is now a programmer in a company. Looking at Ye Ming in front of him, Qin Ye felt that he was a freshman among programmers.
"That's great that you all met. I wonder what Zhuo Hao is doing now." Qin Ye said while eating.
"Zhuo Hao works in the 4S store. We were going to bring him here to give you a surprise today, but he is too busy." Ye Ming said with a smile.
Qin Ye sighed, "Alas, we have all grown up. Fatty Lin and a good friend of mine are working in Ancheng and can't come back. Su Yuwei has joined the army and there is no news about him. There is no news about Ding Shaocheng and Qiao Shuanghua abroad either. We have gradually lost contact with each other."
Ina stopped eating and looked at Ye Ming, and Ye Ming also looked at her.
"What are you doing?" Qin Ye asked suspiciously when he saw that the two of them had stopped eating.
Ina asked carefully: "Sister, don't you know? Ding Shaocheng and Qiao Shuanghua are engaged."
The chili pepper just blocked her throat, and Qin Ye covered her mouth and choked. Yina quickly poured her some water and patted her back to relieve her pain.
But the pain in his throat did not go away at all. Qin Ye coughed so hard that tears came out, and his internal organs almost felt like they were not his own.
"Drink some water." Ye Ming handed Qin Ye the water and fed her a sip.
After drinking some water, he finally felt better. But his throat was still in a state of collapse. Qin Ye opened his mouth but couldn't speak.
Ding Shaocheng is engaged? Where did he get engaged... Why doesn't she know?
Qin Ye covered his mouth tightly, closed his eyes, and waited for the spicy feeling in his throat to slowly fade away.
It was as if a huge stone was constantly sinking in my heart, and then with a "plop", it fell into the dead water in my heart that had long been silent. Qin Ye asked hoarsely: "When did it happen?"
Ina glanced at her worriedly and said, "Last month..."
"Why didn't he tell me?" Qin Ye raised his eyes and looked at Ina, his eyes were filled with tears.
Ina didn't know how to answer and looked at Ye Ming for help.
Ye Ming said, "Don't be sad, Xiaoye. Actually, none of us knew about this. We just heard about it from his parents by accident. It seems that they got engaged in Canada. I heard that they are going to return to China to get married. We will notify everyone when they get married."
"Yes, yes, yes, I heard it from his parents." Ina quickly echoed Ye Ming's words.
Qin Ye's eyes were out of focus, and he seemed not to have heard what they said. Yina looked at Ye Ming worriedly, afraid that Qin Ye would be particularly sad because of this.
Time stood still and no one knew how to continue speaking.
After a while, Qin Ye stretched out his hand, wiped it from his forehead downwards, and finally supported his chin and said, "Continue eating."
Ina and Ye Ming continued to eat, but no one said another word.
What should have been a lively dinner ended in silence.
At night, Qin Ye was lying on the bed, looking at Ding Shaocheng, who was set as a special concern on QQ. The chat records were from half a year ago. After a long silence, Qin Ye removed Ding Shaocheng from the "special concern" list.
She kissed the phone affectionately and said, "Goodbye, the past."
Farewell, the past, and Ding Shaocheng.
Qin Ye put his phone on the bedside table and curled up in the quilt to prepare for sleep. He hoped that after waking up, the sun would still be shining, and she would still be the Qin Ye who always looked forward.
But not long after he lay down, Qin Ye's phone rang.
Qin Ye grabbed the phone, and the three words that appeared on the screen made her throw back the quilt and sit up in shock!
Su Yuwei?
It’s Su Yuwei’s call... He called?
Qin Ye's heart was pounding. Should he answer the call? What should he say if he answered? Qin Ye sat up straight, pinched his throat, and let out a long sigh. His finger slid across the answer button, and when he was about to put the phone close to his ear, he heard a "beep" sound.
It's too late.
Qin Ye was inexplicably angry and threw his phone on the bed. At this time, the text message reminder lit up, and Qin Ye quickly picked it up and saw that it was from Su Yuwei:
I've put away my phone. I'll contact you next week.
Qin Ye dived into the quilt holding her phone, the sound of her chest beating was extremely obvious in the quiet room. She opened her lips slightly, curled up holding her phone, and a smile unconsciously appeared on the corner of her mouth.
She patted her cheeks. Why did she feel so happy?
Even she herself didn't know, anyway, she was looking forward to the coming weekend. Qin Ye held the phone tightly, tossing and turning in bed, and it took a long time before he fell asleep.
One sorrow, one joy; one loss, one gain.
It's midsummer again, and the nights are long again.
Qin Ye had just lamented how fast time passed, but now he felt that time was passing so slowly. Waiting for the weekend to come was like waiting for eternity.
After finally making it to Friday night, Qin Ye was preparing for his lessons for the next semester while waiting for Su Yuwei's call.
At seven o'clock in the evening, Su Yuwei's phone rang.
Qin Ye quickly grabbed the phone and swiped the answer button: "Hello?"
There was a rustle on the other end of the phone, and Su Yuwei's voice came: "Qin Xiaoye."
"Well... yes, it's me." Qin Ye held his breath and listened carefully to every word Su Yuwei said.
Su Yuwei said on the phone: "I can't get through to my home phone, can you help me go to my house and send me something?"
Is that why? Qin Ye looked disappointed and said, "Well...what is this?"
"My father's previous medals of honor, if you tell him about them, he will know."
"Okay, I'll go tomorrow." Qin Ye slid his pen on the draft paper and asked, "Is there anything else?"
"Well...that's all...um, are you okay?" Su Yuwei asked.
"I'm fine."
"Oh... then it's all right. Bye then?"
"Goodbye." The expectation on Qin Ye's face completely disappeared. She heard another rustling sound coming from Su Yuwei's side, and then the phone was hung up.
She waited for a week, and all she got was these few words from Su Yuwei?
Qin Ye threw his cell phone aside and drew a straight line on the paper vigorously, and the whole room was filled with the rustling sound.
On the other end of the phone, Su Yuwei hung up and slapped himself hard several times.
"Su Yuwei! What medal of honor! You mustered up so much courage to call her, doesn't that mean you miss her very much? You coward! Coward!" He was so angry that he kicked the wall.
It's so hard to get such an opportunity.
Su Yuwei leaned against the wall, raised his head and exhaled.
"Su Yuwei, you are really hopeless." He laughed at himself twice, and finally slid to the ground weakly and squatted down.
The last letter to Qin Ye:
Qin Xiaoye, if I had known that leaving you would cause me so much suffering, I would never have chosen to leave you.
If you like someone else, I will try my best to drive him out of your heart.
If you can't accept me, I will become what you can accept.
I am afraid that time will separate us two, and that the years will fade my image in your heart. Qin Xiaoye, I miss you so much.
I still like you as much as I did in the past, and in fact, my love for you is growing stronger day by day.
It's getting harder and harder to control every day.
That was what Su Yuwei wrote to Qin Ye the night before. He didn't want Cheng Miao to intercept it, so he didn't even put it in the mailbox.
But he wanted to say these words to her on the phone.
But I picked up the phone, but I didn't have the courage.
Dear Qin Xiaoye, you are in a city thousands of miles away, can you understand how much I miss you?
