Chapter 6 The Female Ghost
Without thinking too much, I looked at a half-collapsed mud house, and then ran over and got in. I don't know how many years the house here has been here. If it collapses, I might be crushed to death by the mud house instead of being strangled by the ghost. So it's safer to find a half-collapsed house.
After entering the mud house, I shone the flashlight around. It seemed that there were originally three rooms, but the mud walls between them had all collapsed, so there was one room. I found a corner, huddled inside, squatted down, and turned off the flashlight.
The cold wind was howling outside, like the strange cries of birds and beasts, sharp and piercing, and it was creepy to listen to.
I wrapped my coat tightly around me, huddled up as tight as I could, and hid in the corner. Damn it, what the hell is this? If I had known, I wouldn't have come in through that light. Now I'm trapped in this hellhole. But I want to come back. How can I have known in advance?
Fortunately, I am a brave person who can look at things with open mind. Otherwise, I would have been scared to death. Fuck the monsters and ghosts, I am not afraid of you. I touched the wrench of my belt, and a surge of courage inexplicably surged in my heart.
I stretched my body, then took out the small water bottle I carried with me, and just as I put it to my mouth, I heard a voice nearby. However, it was not clear because of the strong wind outside.
I reached out and took out a flashlight, turned it on and shone it towards the place where the sound came from. My eyes followed the light and I was so scared that I dropped the kettle.
A dishevelled woman was squatting by the wall, only two or three meters away from me. She was squatting with her back against the wall, her hands hugging her legs, her head seemed to be placed between her legs, her long black hair spread forward, just covering her face.
My heart instantly jumped into my throat and I instinctively backed away, but I was already in a corner and couldn't retreat. I pressed myself tightly against the wall and shrunk as far back as I could, wishing I could just crawl into the wall.
This woman is definitely not human! There was no one there when I came in just now. If this is not a ghost, then there must be something wrong.
I swallowed hard, my breathing became uncontrollably rapid. I swallowed hard a few more times, trying to calm myself down, not to scare myself to death before the damn ghost even moved.
"Ohh Ohh ohh."
The ghost girl seemed to be crying. I don't know when the wind outside stopped. Although the ghost girl's crying was not loud, I could hear it clearly, and it was also very creepy. In such an environment, with such a sound, it would be a lie to say that I was not scared.
I followed the dirt wall and carefully moved towards the broken door not far away. Although I didn't know what was going on outside, it was at least safer than staying with a female ghost. Just as I was about to move to the door, the female ghost squatting by the wall suddenly stopped crying.
My heart tightened, and I quickly held my breath, sticking to the wall without daring to move. Then the ghost girl slowly raised her head, and when her long hair spread to both sides, revealing her face, my heart seemed to be pinched hard.
The woman I picked up last night! No, it was a ghost!
She was still squatting in the corner, but she kept looking up at me. Her face was still as pale as paper, but fortunately, her eyes were still there. But when I thought of Zheng Feng's death, my heart couldn't stop trembling.
Which bastard said that ghosts are afraid of the light?
The light of my flashlight was shining directly on this female ghost, and she looked fine!
She and I stared at each other for a long time. I couldn't stand it anymore, so I pulled the corner of my mouth and said, "Boss, it's you. What a coincidence."
As soon as I said that, I wanted to slap myself in the face. I cursed myself for bringing up such a big issue. It was because of me that I had pulled her before that so many things happened.
The female ghost suddenly stood up. My heart tightened and my left hand quickly reached for the wrench on my belt.
"What are you doing here?"
The ghost girl suddenly asked. Her voice was very cold, so cold that it made people shiver. But it was also very nice to hear, and it really matched her appearance. Beautiful face, nice voice. But she was a ghost.
I turned my head, forced a smile, and said, "I came to see my friend. Did you see him? He drove you there too."
“Swish!”
There was a slight sound, a flash of light, and the ghost was in front of me in an instant. My heart twitched violently, and I pulled out the wrench on my belt, swung it up and hit her, but just like when I caught Zheng Feng before, the wrench and my arm went through the ghost's body.
Damn, I’m really screwed now.
“Hoooo!”
There was a strange sound, like the howling of the wind or the roar of a wild beast.
I was so scared that I hugged my head, squatted down, and shouted in panic: "Please spare me, beautiful lady, please spare me, female hero, please spare me, female ghost, please spare me!"
Suddenly, I felt a pain on the top of my head, and I was terrified, thinking that this female ghost was going to kill me. I swung the wrench upwards and chopped it randomly.
“Ding ding ding!”
Suddenly, the sound of bells was heard, coming from a distance, as if floating in the wind.
"Aa ...
When the bell rang, I heard a strange cry in my ears, and then the pain on the top of my head disappeared. But the nerves on my temples began to beat rapidly, and waves of pain attacked my forehead, and I felt as if my whole head was about to explode.
"ah!"
I clenched my teeth tightly, trying to relieve the pain, but it was still too painful for me to bear. I threw the wrench and flashlight on the ground , pressed my hands tightly on both sides of my head, sat down on the ground, pressed my back tightly against the wall, and kicked my legs non-stop.
The female ghost just now is no longer in front of me. I don’t know where she went.
“Ding ding ding!”
There was another sound of bells in the distance. My head hurt for a while, and the nerves on both temples finally calmed down. I let out a long breath, feeling like I had walked around the gates of hell. Thinking back to the pain just now, my body trembled involuntarily.
I retrieved the wrench and put it back on my belt, then picked up the flashlight and shone it into the small shabby house. The female ghost had disappeared. The kettle that I had thrown away in fear was not far from my feet. I walked over and picked it up, then drank all the water in it in one breath.
Then I took a few deep breaths and finally recovered. I looked up and saw that the sky was pitch black, but there were a few stars shining faintly.
"Hey, there's someone else here!"
Suddenly, there was a sound at the door. I was startled and shone the flashlight over there, only to see a big head sticking out from the broken door.
Without thinking too much, I pulled out the wrench and threw it over.
Fuck you big head ghost!
"Oh, damn, it hurts, it hurts so much!"
Eh? Hit it? It actually hit the little ghost!
