Chapter 59: Pure [Heroic] Destructive Power
Going back a little bit in time, when Mo Cheng was fighting fiercely with Naraka, Edward was running at full speed with two seriously injured teammates on his back.
He poured the glimmering ointment in his hand directly into the two men's mouths and onto their wounds, hoping that the medicine on hand could allow them to hold out until they were sent for treatment. For the Knights, the problem of being injured was only to control the injury and not die before being sent for treatment.
By the time they are sent to the Cathedral of Glory or the Kingdom's special medical department, as long as they are not dead, they will always survive.
While running, Edward suddenly felt cold all over. A sense of crisis enveloped his whole body. He subconsciously changed direction and hid in a dilapidated house.
Edward's feeling did not deceive him. Just as he hid in the house, a horrific impact erupted from the direction of the battlefield. All the sand, soil, and even branches and leaves along the way became killing weapons.
Wall, hole.
The gate is pierced.
Although separated by a seemingly thick wall, the threat of death has not faded, because in the face of the oncoming sword energy and fist power, this wall is like a thin piece of paper.
Pierce, pierce, pierce!
When the aftermath was about to hit him, Edward had completely lost all chances to resist or dodge. The two serious injuries severely slowed down his speed. In order to prevent their wounds from splitting due to the intense running, Edward even deliberately controlled his speed.
Edward gave up his chance to escape for the sake of others, and now he could only follow his two "good friends" on the road.
This would indeed be the case if the reinforcements did not arrive in time.
"Get down!"
The clear voice made Edward believe it with all his heart. He fell to the ground and ignored the aftermath of the sword energy that was about to beat him into a sieve.
Because at this time, an absolutely powerful [Sword] has arrived. A sword that can tear apart the wind!
I don't know when the wind began to gather, start to spin, and then start to roar.
He roared, shattering the oncoming sword energy and tearing apart the surging fist force. He stirred up a strong wind outside the battlefield between Mo Cheng and Naraka, gathering and destroying all the aftermath.
Listening to the howling of the wind in his ears, Edward finally felt relieved and collapsed to the ground. Although he had been healed by Mo Cheng's holy light, the mental energy consumed by being chased by a strong man could not be replenished by simply healing the body.
He and Flynn were both [Elite] class, warriors who had completed the great circulation in their bodies. Brenda's strength as a spellcaster was also not to be underestimated. But even such a combination, including the elite of the Knights and the Law Enforcement Corps, could not last less than a minute at the hands of the swordsman who called himself Naraku.
Their strength is [elite] because their strength is only [elite].
Naraka's strength is [Elite], it's just that the gap between [Elite] and [Hero] is greater than the sum of [Apprentice] to [Elite], Naraka's strength has not yet reached [Hero].
A group of people broke into the room wearing equipment of the Knights and the Law Enforcement Corps. When they saw the three captains lying on the ground, they immediately lifted them up on stretchers and sent them for treatment.
On the rooftop that had not yet been destroyed by the aftermath, Margaret held a long sword and looked at the two people who were causing huge damage to the surroundings due to the violent aftermath.
Because this nearby area was divided out for reconstruction, not many people live there, and the Law Enforcement Corps and the Knights evacuated the residents before the operation.
At the same time, before the intensity of the battle increased and the aftermath spread further, Margaret took action to stop the expansion of the damage.
At this moment, Margaret was staring at the ghostly figure, and the sword in her hand was already making a soft hum like the wind.
"Margaret, stop it for now."
Ralph, the leader of the Knights, stood in front of Margaret and stopped the leader of the Law Enforcement Corps from trying to join the battle. "If you invade this battle now, you will be besieged by two people at the same time. Use your senses to feel it. After being with those people from the Law Enforcement Corps, have your senses become dull?"
The wind surrounding the sword disappeared, and Margaret concentrated on listening to the sound of the wind and feeling the message conveyed by the wind.
Then she felt it.
It is difficult to describe in words exactly what it is: ferocious, violent, furious, and with a will that is pure to the extreme - to kill the enemy.
Like a violent beast!
"The man fighting Naraka is addicted to fighting. If you rush up to him rashly, you will definitely be attacked."
Ralph crossed his arms across his chest, but the muscles in his arms expanded and contracted. Shocked by Mo Cheng's undisguised brutality, Ralph's desire to fight was aroused.
Margaret knew what Ralph meant. If she got involved now, it would easily develop into a three-way fight, and the situation would be difficult to control.
Seeing this, Margaret silently turned on the tactical recorder on her body. This equipment was developed by the mages and allocated to the Knights Templar. It was mainly used to record, collect and analyze data for the Knights Templar.
After Margaret became the head of the law enforcement team, she used her connections to find a mage to purchase a batch of equipment for the team.
"…Unrecognizable combat system and fighting skills, the combat power is assessed to be at least [Elite +++]. Under the same equipment conditions, the mortality rate of [Elite] warriors fighting against it is as high as 100%."
Margaret frowned when she saw the combat data between Naraka and the unknown personnel analyzed by the tactical recorder. For the law enforcement team, the existence of the unknown strong man without any record was like a bomb that was difficult to control and could explode at any time.
"Margaret, you're still using that useless thing." Ralph glanced at the tactical recorder. "For a real [Strong], that thing is just a small toy that frequently displays error messages."
Margaret continued to collect information and replied, "We need to collect information and integrate it into the [image] record archive. I don't want any unknown uncertainties that affect public security in Fairhaven."
"snort!"
After a cold snort, Ralph ignored Margaret's intention. An important reason why Margaret took some members of the Knights Templar away was that the deputy leader had very different ideas from him, the leader.
Both of them were waiting, waiting for the moment when the battle would be decided, waiting for the enemy to be exhausted so that they could stop him and capture him alive.
Or maybe he stood up to stop Naraka from killing people, and sent an unknown person with good intentions for treatment when he was seriously injured.
They all have strong confidence that they can stop the situation from escalating further . The reason is actually very simple, because their power is enough to resolve the situation.
Whether it is Ralph, the leader of the Knights, or Margaret, the leader of the Law Enforcement Corps, they both have the strength of the [Hero] class.
This is what the players from the [Foreign Land] call the [Seventh Level] strength.
Just as the battle was coming to an end, Margaret's face suddenly changed. The wild beast aura that broke the silence and increased a thousand times swept across the entire Fairhaven like a provocation.
At the same time, Ralph's face was even more surprised, "The pure destructive power has reached the [Hero] level?!"
