Chapter 4: A chaotic etiquette lesson Part 2

"Ding Dong", the mobile phone on the desk then flashed a light.
I put down the pen that was writing down the medical formulas and picked up my phone to check. It was a message from Joseph, asking me to go to the Gossip Club's secret base after school tomorrow to start training in social etiquette.
An unconscious smile of relief appeared on the corners of my mouth. Although this was a deal between Joseph and me, he was really reliable. Before he agreed to be my social etiquette coach, he had already developed a series of plans to train me.
For example, the message I am reading now is the most common social software he downloaded for me.
Then, Joseph helped me register an account and asked me to add all my classmates as my friends, just as an entrance exam.
I had no choice but to add all the students in the class. However, except Joseph, everyone else refused to approve my request.
I really don't understand what these students are thinking? Don't they know that as a well-educated girl, you can't just chat with others? Moreover, as the only heir of the Wen family, I don't allow anyone to take pictures, because I'm afraid that the bad guys will get my photos and kidnap me.
However, since these are the requirements of the academy and what grandpa wants to see, I can only obey. Anyway, if the honor of the Wen family is damaged, it is grandpa's fault.
The next day after school, Joseph took me directly to the secret base of the Gossip Club and officially started the training mode.
Looking at the five classmates sitting upright in a row in front of me, I looked at Joseph curiously.
"From today on, they will be your etiquette and language teachers." Joseph stood against the wall with his arms folded across his chest, looking at me and said coolly.
I couldn't help but frown slightly. I had seen this kind of scene before, but that was before I was ten years old. My etiquette and language courses were all taught by top private coaches. When I was ten years old, I graduated with full marks. Why did I have to learn it again?
"What are you doing? My etiquette tutor is Mrs. Hillman, one of the top etiquette teachers in Western Europe. She said I am impeccable in this aspect." I looked at Joseph suspiciously. Was he questioning me or Mrs. Hillman?
"This is the East, OK? If you want to get closer to ordinary people, you have to learn again. Creating a good image is only the first step. You also have to learn how to communicate with others." Joseph looked at me seriously and said.
I nodded with sudden enlightenment.
Joseph is really amazing, his words really woke me up. It turns out that the reason why I failed to make friends was that I made the mistake of "using Western etiquette in Chinese".
"Very good. Please start, teachers!" I looked at the five teachers in front of me with a bursting desire to learn, and pulled my skirt, half-knelt, and performed a grand court etiquette.
But is it my illusion?
Why after accepting my salute, the five classmates looked at each other, as if they were so overwhelmed that they didn't know where to put their hands and feet.
"I really admire you." Joseph looked at me with a look of disdain, rolling his eyes and looking at the five classmates helplessly, and kindly reminded me, "Let's start by not embarrassing others!"
"Oh!" One of the girls reacted, nodded quickly, and walked towards me gently, "Classmate Wen Feili, the first thing to do to eliminate other people's embarrassment is to change your habit of bowing all the time!"
"Why?" I wondered. This etiquette is a lesson that every young lady must learn!
"Why are you asking so many questions? Just do it! Do you still want to get full marks in socializing?" Joseph growled at me impatiently. I could even see the veins throbbing in his temples, as if those veins would burst if I asked any more questions!
"Yes, sir!" Hearing this, I obeyed seriously.
Hehe! If I can not only successfully spend a school year at Ande College, but also get full marks in all subjects, my grandfather will definitely be proud of me. At that time, my grandfather will definitely praise me with pride.
"First of all, when we meet here we don't greet each other, but say hello. Just wave your hand and say hi!" The etiquette teacher began to teach me step by step, waving his own hand naturally.
"Is that so? Are there any regulations on the bending angle of each joint of the hand? And for the pronunciation of 'hi', should I use the American or British pronunciation?" I imitated the teacher's movements in a very realistic way and asked questions tirelessly, why did I feel that my movements were so awkward?
"Uh! You don't have to be so stiff, just be in your most natural state!" Facing my question, the teacher's brows were furrowed like musical notation. Was it that the question I asked was difficult to answer, or were my movements really not standard?
"Is that so? Hi!" I became even more nervous. Wow, am I really so bad that even the teacher can't teach me?
"Uh... a little better! You can smile a little."
I saw the teacher sigh heavily, and then he reached out and pulled the corners of my mouth to help me smile.
"Okay! Do this move a hundred times in front of the mirror." Joseph finally couldn't stand it anymore and pushed me in front of the mirror, letting me practice on my own. He then pulled five teachers, who were members of the gossip club, to sit at the conference table and said, "Let's have a meeting to discuss the gossip theme for next month."
Seeing that Joseph didn't want to pay any attention to me, I could only put away my pouty mouth, look in the mirror, recall the movements and intonations of the etiquette teacher, take a deep breath, and practice with a smile...
"Hi..." I was very obedient and repeated the action quite seriously. I would definitely practice it to the best level that would satisfy everyone and make myself feel comfortable.
"Your Highness, classmate Wen has already had sex two hundred times, are you sure you don't want to let her take a break?" During my endless practice, a classmate finally felt guilty and asked Joseph.
"Do you think her movements are up to standard?" Joseph said coldly to the classmate.
"Well... at least it's better!" The classmate swallowed, pushed his glasses on the bridge of his nose, and said while blinking unnaturally.
"Can I, can I go to the bathroom first?" I lowered my head in grievance and spoke weakly. I have practiced this two hundred times. If you don't give me a sip of water, at least let me take care of my physiological problem!
"Go ahead!" Probably because of my expression, Joseph finally relented and agreed to let me go to the toilet.
I pushed open the bathroom door with a "click", but both toilet doors were closed, which meant that there were people inside. I could only stand at attention and wait for the people inside to come out.
"Hehe! His Highness finally got mad! In order to deal with Xiao Bai, he actually occupied all of Wen Feili's time, making Xiao Bai's plan fail. Humph, there is not even a chance to meet. Let's see how Xiao Bai makes Wen Feili remember him!" Girl A said with a smug smile.
"It's time to teach Xiao Bai a lesson. Your Highness is the most handsome young man in Ande College. If it weren't for your unique taste in color matching, how could Xiao Bai be awarded the title of the most handsome boy?" Girl B said disdainfully.
"Yeah! I also think His Highness is the best looking. Moreover, his outfit is also very dazzling! I wonder what the judges were thinking at that time."
"But, actually, I think His Highness may have fallen in love." Girl B's tone became mysterious. "Although Wen Feili is very old-fashioned, she is indeed very beautiful. She wears all kinds of puffy skirts every day, just like a princess from a fairy tale world. How cute! His Highness and I have been in the same class for two years, and I have never seen him care so much about anyone."
"That's right! I wouldn't have noticed if you hadn't told me. His Highness has been concentrating on the affairs of the gossip club. All he has in his mind and eyes is gossip. He has never looked at any girl straight in the eye! He always says that the princess worthy of him hasn't been born yet!" Girl A exclaimed in sudden realization.
Did I hear that correctly? Joseph is in love with me? Is that true?
For some reason, after listening to the conversation between the two girls, the corners of my mouth rose uncontrollably, and I felt so happy in my heart, as if I had stolen a whole bucket of honey. Every cell in my body exuded a sweet fragrance.
"Really? Your Highness must have fallen in love with Wen Feili..." Girl B said proudly, opened the door and walked out of the bathroom. The moment she saw me, she was completely stunned.
"Hi!" I put my hand into practice and greeted Girl B with a proud smile.
"Who is it..." Girl A also opened the door and was shocked when she saw me.
"Hi!" I greeted Girl A with a smile.
The two girls looked at each other, and finally could only blink their eyes continuously, as if to confirm that they had not seen the wrong person and deny their previous conversation. Finally...
"You passed the test." The two girls gave me a thumbs up and said in unison.
"Really? Hi! Hi! Hi..." Hearing this, I kept repeating to the mirror excitedly. It's true! The me in the mirror really looks much more natural. And, I don't know why, even though it's getting dark outside the window, the background is sunny and there's a rainbow hanging high in the sky!
Hehe! I have not only eaten honey, I must have also obtained the power of the sun god. Wherever I go, there is light everywhere! Even my smile and white teeth are shining with the dazzling brilliance of four-pointed stars!
I told you, I am the little princess of the Wen family who is loved by everyone and has an extremely cute index. How could a man like Joseph not like me?
