Chapter 33: Mutsu's Small Matter
Mutsu finally sat down.
Not sitting in a separate seat in the middle of the living room, but sitting next to Lexington.
Mutsu looked around, trying to find her sister. She remembered that her sister was there just now, how come she disappeared in the blink of an eye? Did she deliberately hide away to seek refuge?
As sisters, your actions are chilling. Or, as an elder sister, you have forgiven your younger sister, so you are not here. Another possibility is that even Nagato could not save his sister from so many people, and could not bear to see his sister suffer a terrible punishment.
Mutsu turned towards the window, hoping that the black-haired woman Akagi standing there could help talk.
Regardless of who the flagship of the Combined Fleet , in this naval base the flagship of the Combined Fleet was Akagi.
Akagi was not the first Japanese battleship to join the naval base. Fuso joined the naval base earlier than Akagi. However, Fuso was too gentle, lacked courage, and was obviously insufficient in strength. Apart from being the king of the ball and a heavyweight in some aspects that could slightly attract the admiral's attention, it was difficult for her to take on the main responsibility.
Akagi joined the naval base second only to Fuso. With her outstanding appearance and famous name in history, she became a wedding ship early on. After her growth, or transformation, when Japanese battleships and battlecruisers declined, she has always occupied the position of flagship of the naval base aircraft carrier squadron with her excellent command ability. To some extent, it can be said that she has single-handedly supported the Japanese system.
Akagi is perhaps the only one in the entire tutelage who can fight against Lexington, or at least the only one in the Japanese system who can fight against Lexington. Other than that, Taiho is not good enough, Kaga is not good enough, Kongo is not good enough, Shinano is even worse, and even if we evaluate her sister Nagato as a younger sister, Nagato is not good enough either. No one can be of great use.
Akagi kept looking out the window and never looked back from beginning to end, and Mutsu gave up.
If even Akagi is unwilling to help, then there is no hope for others. Mutsu lowered his head and decided to give it a try.
“I think there may be some misunderstanding.”
"Everyone, let me explain."
Mutsu looked up cautiously and secretly, and when he saw that no one spoke out to stop him, he became a little bolder.
"This is what happened."
"Shokaku, Zuikaku, and I were having dinner at the pub. Everyone who was there at the time can testify to this. I saw the admiral reading a notice on the notice board, so I invited him to come sit in the pub. Since I invited him to the pub, it's only natural that I should keep him company, right? Order two side dishes and get a bottle of wine."
A cold question rang out: "A bottle of wine?"
Mutsu replied, "First, a bottle of wine, and when I finished that, I got a few more bottles, that's all."
"What's the matter with forcing people to drink?"
Mutsu thought of what he did in the pub, and found all kinds of reasons to ask the admiral to drink. The admiral must have thought it was beer or wine, and he dared to drink it like that. The first bottle was actually nothing, just an appetizer, and the wine that came later was the highlight.
"I didn't force you to drink." Mutsu said. When she noticed the silver-gray short-haired woman's eyebrows raised, the blonde knight narrowed her eyes and said, "I encouraged you to drink, not forced you to drink."
The woman with a pair of extremely beautiful legs smiled slightly: "Stealing books can't be considered stealing... Stealing books!... Can it be considered stealing if it's something that scholars do?"
Mutsu smiled awkwardly.
The beautiful long hair was usually tied up, but it was let down at night because she was preparing to take a bath. The blonde woman folded her arms, holding her chest, which was even more shocking. She said in a cold voice: "Continue."
Obviously, no and said, "Drinking is not something you can drink without some persuasion. After some persuasion, I'll say that I drink as much as the admiral does, but I didn't expect the admiral to have a low alcohol tolerance and get drunk so easily."
Mutsu knew that this was the most important stage, and whether she could pass this stage was the key. She took a deep breath and said, "I just want to send the admiral to rest. I don't have any extravagant thoughts. Otherwise, how can I ask Zuikaku to help me send the admiral here, and also send her away. She is also the admiral 's wedding ship. Can she just sit there and let me do whatever I want?"
Mutsu was so excited that Zuikaku's existence could prove her innocence. However, she was completely wrong. No one believed her, and everyone sighed for Zuikaku.
"Zuihe is such a pitiful person."
"Poor Zuikaku."
"How dare you bully Zuikaku like this."
“That’s really too much.”
Mutsu is wronged and innocent. Can you please give me a little trust?
Only when the discussion slowly died down did Lexington speak.
"Mutsu sister."
"Do you really know what you've done?"
"The admiral is the admiral. Even if they don't say it, everyone must like the admiral."
"There's only one admiral, but there are so many wedding ships. This is a problem."
"The admiral rarely came to the garrison before, and even when he did, it always felt unreal. Today he really showed up... Let me make it clear, there are too many people and too little food. Everyone has to rely on their own abilities to attract the admiral. If you win, you win. If you lose, you are not good enough and are not willing to accept the loss."
"The admiral had dinner at my place today, and Xiao Zhai and the others came to see him that night, and I let him leave without stopping him. How come you came to my place, forced him to drink, and brought the drunk admiral home, trying to make things a fait accompli. If you really want to force him to drink, I can do it too."
"It's understandable to use some tricks, say what the admiral likes to hear, wear the clothes the admiral likes, do the things the admiral likes, but what's forcing him to drink?"
"If you had brought the admiral home with your own ability, we would not have said anything and would not have come here tonight. We came here not because we are jealous of you but to stop you from committing a crime. We must curb this trend and nip it in the bud."
"Otherwise, today you get the admiral drunk, tomorrow she gets him drunk, the day after tomorrow she uses sleeping tea, the day after tomorrow she uses aphrodisiac, then drugs, electric shocks, hypnosis, kidnapping... The admiral comes to the garrison, to survive? A guide to surviving the garrison, or a guide to surviving the garrison."
"That's all I have to say. You can do whatever you want."
Hearing this, Mutsu quickly raised his hand and said, "I know I was wrong. I promise there won't be a next time. I guarantee it with my character."
Someone spoke up: "You slut, what kind of personality do you have? You still want to guarantee it with your personality..."
How come I have no personality? Mutsu really feels a little wronged. You can't insult me like that.
"Sister Lexington, Sister Akagi, Sister Bismarck, Sister Veneto, Sister Richelieu..." Mutsu looked at everyone, called out to them one by one, and said sincerely, "I promise, I promise with my personality, I promise with my conscience, there will never be a next time, I apologize to you, I promise you."
The little white-haired girl didn't even raise her eyes: "An apology and a promise are enough, what do we need the police for?"
Mutsu looked at the white-haired little loli and said, "I am so wronged, how have I ever offended you?"
"Considering that this is your first offense, you can be spared the death penalty, but you cannot escape the punishment of life imprisonment. You will first be added to the garrison's list of dishonest persons, and then..."
Lexington had already stood up and said, "You two should discuss the rules first, how to punish Mutsu, and how to prevent similar things from happening again. I'll go see the admiral."
Lexington had just stood up when voices rang out one after another.
"Stay in Lexington."
"Lexington wait."
"I'm not very good at those things, Admiral, I'll take care of them. Lexington, you're better at it, you stay."
"Akagi, do you want to sneak away?"
"Richelieu, please sit down first."
