Chapter 14: No Need to Save, Enough Bullets
Several citizens could still be seen running away on the street at this time. One citizen even bumped into Jill in panic and fled into the subway station.
The streets are now littered with broken cars. It seems that some citizens have created zombies in their cars, leading to the current car accident scene.
It was impossible to get through the street. If it was just a simple car crash, you could still get through, but these cars were all on fire.
Since you can't go through the front, you can only go around through a small alley on the left, shooting some scattered zombies and the zombies in the car as you go.
"Long Yuan, give me some ammunition. I'm out of bullets." Jill looked into his waist bag and found that there was no magazine.
"Here, here you go. Don't be stingy. There are enough bullets." Long Yuan took out a magazine from his backpack and handed it to Jill.
"Tsk, sometimes I really want to dissect you to see how you came into being." Jill took the magazine and put it in his waist bag, muttering softly.
"Hmm? What did you say?"
"Nothing to say, just kill the zombies." Jill shot a zombie in the head that suddenly appeared from the garbage dump.
There was a policeman in front who was gnawing on the corpse under the iron gate. Jill felt a trace of pity in his eyes when he saw this, but he still killed the policeman with a few shots.
"Don't be sad, he is a responsible policeman, isn't he? He insists on fighting on the front line." Long Yuan comforted Jill when he saw that he was in a bad condition.
"I know. Let's go, get it done and get out of this damn hell." Jill shook her head to show that she was fine.
I walked through the iron gate and onto the street. After taking a few steps, I saw an iron net blocking an intersection on the left. There were dozens of zombies in the iron net.
Fortunately, the zombies were blocked by the iron net and couldn't get out for a while.
After walking a few steps, I was stopped by a car again.
"Hello, Carlos, I'm at the main road. What should I do next?" Jill took out the walkie-talkie and called Carlos.
"Look up and see that huge electric tower? That's the substation. You have to go through the alley on the right to get through." Carlos' voice came from the intercom.
"You mean the one that's on fire?" Jill's eyes twitched as he looked at the alley that was on fire.
"Maybe, you can look around to see if there is anything that can put out the fire." Carlos said.
"OK, I'll find a way." Jill said and put away the walkie-talkie.
"Jill, someone as beautiful as you will definitely be able to put out this fire." Long Yuan looked at Jill teasingly.
"Go to hell." Jill hit Long Yuan with his hand.
"Ouch, uh uh."
Suddenly, there was a roar of zombies behind me. It turned out that the iron net that was not made in China could not stop the zombies and fell to the ground.
Dozens of zombies rushed towards Long Yuan and Jill.
The two men quickly raised their pistols and opened fire, but there were too many zombies. After they knocked down one , another came up. For a moment, the zombies were pressing forward step by step.
"Long Yuan, think of a way quickly, there are too many zombies." Jill said as he knocked down a zombie with a shot.
When Long Yuan first saw so many zombies, he wanted to take out the RPG, but these zombies were too close to them and the impact of the explosion would hurt Jill.
But there was no time to worry about that now. At worst, I could just run over and stand in front of Jill after the launch.
Just when Long Yuan was about to take out the RPG, he suddenly noticed an oil barrel behind the car in front of him, and his eyes lit up.
He raised his pistol, aimed at the oil barrel and fired two shots.
"boom!"
The explosion directly killed two-thirds of the zombies, leaving only a few small zombies at the scene. They were quickly dealt with by the combined efforts .
"Let's go and see if there is anything nearby that can be used to put out the fire." Long Yuan took the lead and walked towards the stairs behind the iron net.
There is a restaurant at the end of the stairs, and we enter the restaurant.
The restaurant was now filled with a smell that was a mixture of food and blood. Long Yuan almost vomited when he smelled it.
After a hasty search of the restaurant, I found nothing that could be used to put out the fire.
Just as he was about to go to another street through another door of the restaurant, Long Yuan was stopped by Jill.
"Wait a minute, there's something wrong going on outside."
After pulling Long Yuan, Jill gently pushed the door open a crack and looked out.
There were a lot of zombies outside. Suddenly, an eye with half of its eye missing appeared in front of Jill. Jill was so scared that she sat on the ground, covering her mouth tightly.
After a while, when Jill heard no movement outside, she breathed a sigh of relief.
"What's the situation outside?" Long Yuan pulled Jill up and asked.
"There are a lot of zombies outside, almost dozens of them, but there is also an oil barrel outside, watch me."
After saying that, Jill half-knelt on the ground, opened the door a crack, stretched out the gun from inside, aimed at the oil barrel, and pulled the trigger.
"boom!"
After a while, Long Yuan and Jill opened the door. Looking at the ketchup on the door, Jill sighed inwardly that it was a good thing that he had closed the door.
At this time, there were still a few zombies wandering around on the street. After taking care of them with a few shots, they walked forward and came to the subway control center.
As soon as he entered the door, he saw a corpse leaning against the corner. Jill fired a shot cautiously, and when he saw no movement, he continued to move forward.
After turning a corner, a zombie suddenly came out, and both Jill and Long Yuan were scared.
Jill was a little angry and fired several shots to death. There was a door a few steps forward, and there was also a door in the corridor on the right.
They went to the right first, because they found a fire hose on the ground. Long Yuan walked over and put the hose on the ground into his backpack.
Jill widened her eyes again when she saw this scene. "You...how..."
"Hey, you promised me not to ask." Long Yuan interrupted Jill before she could ask.
"I regret it now, okay?" Jill muttered depressedly.
Long Yuan smiled but said nothing. Even he himself didn't understand the situation, so how could he explain it?
We came to the room on the right, which was an office.
On the table, Long Yuan found a note that read:
The violence has been getting worse over the past few days. I got myself a shotgun in case things get out of hand.
I locked it in the gun rack so it wouldn't be stolen while I was out looking for more bullets.
If things get bad, cut the chains and grab the weapons. Hopefully, we can all survive.
"It seems he didn't survive." Jill said with regret.
Then I walked to the shotgun, which was locked by an iron net. If I followed the game, I would have to find a clamp somewhere else to open it.
But this is reality. He broke the chain with two shots and took out a shotgun.
"Long Yuan, you must have no more bullets in this shotgun." Jill said, holding the shotgun.
Long Yuan didn't say anything, he just took the shotgun from Jill, put it in his backpack, and gave it to Jill. Then he took out the shotgun bullets from the backpack and handed them to Jill.
"Are you a magician or an alchemist?" Jill looked at Long Yuan curiously.
"How could that be? If that were true, I wouldn't have to take the subway to escape from here. I could just cast a spell and get out." Long Yuan looked at Jill speechlessly.
Just as Jill was about to say something else, she heard a knock on the door. She looked through the transparent glass of the office and saw the door they had just entered through was banging.
