Chapter 136: A Brand New Guild
Magnolia, the central street where the new Fairy Tail is rebuilt.
The place is surrounded by thick khaki-colored stone walls that are as high as a person, and the dense iron railings give off a strong metallic smell. The main entrance is five meters wide and nearly ten meters high, and it does not seem crowded even if five or six strong men enter and exit at the same time. Above the stone pillar, a huge wooden sign is hung high, with the word [FAIRY TAIL] written in fancy characters. Further up, there is a large piece of silver-white metal flower carving, which looks quite gorgeous - hey, those on both sides seem to be bunny girls?
Once you enter, you will see all kinds of small stalls on both sides, selling figures, clothes, daily necessities, peripherals, and high-end decorations. There are a few places that occupy a relatively large area and are currently empty - those are the shops Kira has reserved for himself.
Further in is an open-air cafe with a few parasols scattered among the large wooden tables and chairs. There are already several people drinking and chatting there; the second door is still the same wooden door, which has not been changed.
The guild had four and a half floors in a tower-like structure, with a large bell hanging on the top, which looked very imposing. Under the bell, a huge flag with a red background and gold edges was hung on the outside of the fourth floor, with the guild emblem painted in white on it.
The overall architectural style looks like a European castle, but the magic crystals inlaid in it add a lot of fantasy.
"Yeah, this is what the No. 1 Magic Guild should look like!"
Standing at the entrance of the guild, Kira nodded with satisfaction, unable to control his joy. He had a share in the title deed here, which meant that the guild was renting his land. This meant that he had transformed himself from a shop owner into a large rent collector.
Thinking of this, Kira couldn't wait to run into the guild. He could see that the interior was much larger than the original guild. Tables and chairs were neatly arranged, and there were nine large stone pillars supporting the entire guild, distributed in the form of three.
The first floor is still a bar. Opposite the door is a flag with the guild emblem. Below is the bar, and on both sides are a stage for performances and a guild task board. There is a staircase leading to the second floor.
Behind the bar is the swimming pool that everyone loves. Many handsome men and beautiful women are playing in the water. The most exciting ones are naturally the [Gun and Bullet Combination] Bisca and Alzak. The two of them are in the stage of having a hot relationship - ahem, they are really having a hot relationship.
There is also a rest room and a task board on the second floor. Previously, at the strong request of Kira and Erza, Markrov agreed to the application of [allowing non-S-class members to perform S-class tasks if there is an S-class wizard leading the team].
Erza made a strong request because she was teaming up with Natsu and the others. Otherwise, if she kept doing ordinary tasks, she would not be able to pay the rent for 5 dormitories. As for Kira, his idea was simple: how can you harvest the leeks if they don't grow?
The third floor is the office area, which is basically used to handle applications for joining the guild, tasks, and the handover of normal public property. The fourth floor has rooms such as the lounge and medical room, and there is also a playground in the basement.
It took Kira nearly an hour to finally tour the entire guild, and then he lay on a table on the first floor drinking a drink, watching his companions chatting and drinking, while thinking about the shortcomings around him.
Disper ignored him and continued chatting with other people.
Although he is not a member of Fairy Tail, because of his relationship with Kira and the fact that he defeated Joseph and saved the guild last time, everyone naturally accepted him.
Although the two look exactly the same, their temperaments are very different. Kira exudes a lazy and relaxed aura, and his words are always out of tune; Disper is relatively normal, his eyes are sharper, and the most important thing is that he always has two knives hanging around his waist.
"I feel like I can put a personal recliner here - no, no, what if Natsu and the others break it? I can ask them to pay for it, but they probably can't afford it, so forget it..."
Kira thought for a long time and suddenly found that today was a bit deserted. After asking, he found out that the usually lively people had gone out to do missions. Even Mira, who usually stayed in the guild, accepted a task from a magazine to take photos, which surprised Kira.
"Okay, okay, it's good that everyone knows how to make money." Kira expressed his relief.
As for the president, I heard that he was called by the mayor for tea.
"Hiss... the old man won't do anything, right?" Kira took a breath, then waved his hand and turned away, "Hey, it's none of my business, go home!"
Although the guild's land had grown several times, and the open-air cafes, various vendors, swimming pools, playgrounds and other things were all very attractive, what satisfied Kira the most was that it was close to home.
The new guild and its Hope House are on the same street, less than 10 minutes' walk away.
"Rich people really enjoy themselves - ah, I almost forgot, I am the richest person in the guild!"
It seems that after so many years, my mentality still hasn't changed . Those days when I was a poor guy are really hard to look back on!
Seeing Kira's eyes gradually filled with tears, Disper shook his head: "What is wrong with this guy again..."
Familiar cottage, familiar decoration, that is the warmth of home. As soon as he entered the door, Kira fell directly on the sofa. It was a real enjoyment to fall on the soft and warm sofa when he got home - the bed was not possible because he hadn't changed his clothes.
"Now that you're home, you should be able to start making magic props, right?" Disper followed Kira in and said to him, "How do you do it? To be honest, I'd like to see it!"
Unfortunately , Disper did not get a reply from Kira. Kira’s current state is one of the most relaxed and enjoyable states. No one can influence him, even the temptation of money is useless!
"Hey, hey, hey, you're not dead, are you? Then your property will belong to me, okay?"
But Kira still didn't react. At this moment, let alone moving or saying a word, even moving his eyeballs made him feel tired!
20 minutes later, Kira was resurrected!
"Get up, get up, and let's talk about our plan to make the little house rich!"
However, at this time, Disper was already reading the novel with great interest. This state was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable for Disper, and no one could influence him, not even the temptation of a swordsman master.
Give someone the way they want you to give to them, and the situation of attack and defense will be easy!
But in the end, Disper was pulled up from the ground by Kira. There was nothing he could do because the territory and even the book belonged to him.
"Listen carefully, Hope House will be temporarily closed. I have decided to shift the sales focus to the guild!"
At the small table, Kira introduced his next business plan to Dispel.
"The things we sell are naturally those magic props. Remember, we must make good use of the characteristics of our products!"
"Special features? What? Is that the kind of product you make?"
"Get serious, you bastard! I'm talking about toys with time-limit magic on them!"
"I know. Anyway, it's a daily necessity called "**Elf" or something like that, with magic like [Speed Up], [Endurance], and [Recovery]. I know all about it!"
"Asshole! What do you know? This is a legitimate magic shop!!"
"What's wrong with this thing? It's obviously very popular..." Disper muttered to himself, "Could it be that it has been given [hardness], [vibration], [form change]..."
"Shut up! I don't do that kind of stuff!!"
After dozens of minutes of discussion, Disper finally accepted the fact that Kira really didn't sell that kind of props.
"Ahem..." Disper asked, "So, why are you telling me this?"
"Why do you ask me to tell you? You are my employee! I will be in seclusion for a while to research new props, so I will leave the sale of magic props to you - you can read novels there, but if I find that the sales volume does not meet expectations after I come out, you know the consequences, right?"
Disper refused to buy it. "Sales are like breakfast, right? It doesn't matter if you have them or not. You provide food and lodging, so I don't have to worry about starving to death."
Kira flipped the table angrily: "How can you not have the consciousness of a worker at all!!"
