Chapter 10: Perfect Ending
Logically speaking, this secret room is airtight.
I don't know where the wind came from at this time, but it was accompanied by some rustling sounds, which made my scalp tingle.
Numbness.
I was about to look back, but found that the wind was blowing from the front.
"If there is wind ahead, does that mean there is an exit?" I asked my cousin.
He frowned. “That’s possible, but it could also be some kind of trap. We have to move forward to find out. I can’t answer you now.”
His words were ambiguous and there was no accurate answer, which made me even more panicked.
I'm still worried whether I can see the sun tomorrow.
Just at this moment, some scraps of paper were mixed in with the wind blowing from the straight road.
All the scraps of paper were blown onto the wooden box.
There are a lot of shredded paper, and it is easy to be scratched by it inadvertently.
My cousin and I dodged quickly, but Dong Jing was not as agile as us, and a bloody mark was cut on his arm.
I reached out and pulled Dong Jing to my side, and at this time, I was hiding behind the wooden box.
I don’t know how long it was before the wind stopped and the pieces of paper stopped blowing out.
I stood up only after I was sure the wind had really stopped.
When I stood up and walked to the side of the wooden box, I realized that what was stuck on the wooden box was not shredded paper at all.
This looks like a paper man.
But they have no heads, only limbs.
When I got closer, I don't know if they sensed someone's presence, but they actually stretched out their hands and trembled slightly.
"Oh, this is a bit difficult..."
My cousin sighed, walked around the wooden box and went straight to the straight road.
"Is this place no longer under control?" I was a little confused.
He shook his head. "Never mind, let's see if there is an exit on the other side of the straight road. If there is, we can take the coffin out, perform a simple ritual, and then bury it."
I knew my cousin would have a way, so I stopped panicking and just followed him.
At the end of the straight road, there is a big iron gate.
It seems that the wind blows in from here.
"But this big iron gate is locked. How could there be such a strong wind?" Dong Jing looked at the structure of the iron gate and was a little confused.
My cousin and I also couldn't figure it out.
Since I had just twisted my waist, I did some stretching exercises while the area was still a little bigger.
It would have been better if I hadn't done this exercise. When I looked up, I saw that the ceiling of the secret room was covered with the scraps of paper I had just seen.
What on earth is going on?
"In the final analysis, someone has tampered with this house. This coffin was set up by this person. The corpse of the pregnant woman is probably inside. If the resentment is strong, it can affect the feng shui of this house. But the most important thing is the person who set up this trap. Doing this is likely to bless him."
I listened to my cousin and understood a little bit.
Just like in Southeast Asian countries, there are also things like Buddha amulets.
Some people think that the more evil and resentful they are, the smoother their official career will be.
This is why some people are willing to pay any price to get a Buddha amulet.
It seems that the person who set up this trap had the same idea.
But he is more powerful.
There is also a secret room in this house, which surprised me.
After all, if you really have the money to do this, you might as well hire a Feng Shui master to see how to improve the Feng Shui of the house.
"Things on the head basically won't provoke anyone. Although the person who made them needs them to guard this place and the coffin. However, these pieces of paper have no independent will and will not attack anyone at all. At most, when the wind blows, it will easily scratch people."
My cousin is quite knowledgeable about these things.
There are many similar things, and he knows them at a glance.
Now that I knew that the scraps of paper were not dangerous to us, I began to boldly study the big iron gate.
It must have been locked up by someone from the outside, most likely the person who set up this mother-child evil.
"Can it be opened?" Dong Jing asked beside me.
I shook my head, opening it was impossible.
But we can try violence.
Because no one had lived in this house for a long time , the person who set up the mother-child curse did not expect that someone would open the door of the secret room and walk into it today.
So this iron gate is just a formality to prevent people from coming in.
I took two steps back and kicked the iron gate hard.
My cousin and I took turns, and after two or three times, we kicked the iron gate open.
When I smelled the scent outside, I felt comfortable all over, like the smell of rebirth.
"What do you say now?" Dong Jing looked at me and my cousin.
I looked at Dong Jing and said, "You stay here and guard the iron gate. My uncle and I will go in and carry the coffin out."
Perhaps it was because Dong Jing had never thought that I was so tough. For a moment, she didn’t know how to react. She just nodded and said nothing more.
My cousin and I exchanged glances, and we went into the secret room again and carried the coffin out.
It was not until the coffin was carried out that I realized that this place was actually a cemetery.
We can’t find the family of the person lying in the coffin.
Since we are in a cemetery, we might as well bury the coffin here.
But before that, my cousin still lit some incense and scattered some yellow and white paper money, and then let me find a hole in the grave to bury the coffin.
I originally wanted to refuse, but then I thought that my cousin was busy with something.
It's not appropriate for Dongjing, a girl, to hang around in a cemetery.
This heavy responsibility seemed to fall on my shoulders, so I stopped complaining and turned into the cemetery.
A grave was found and the coffin was buried, and the matter was resolved.
My cousin took me to find Boss Jin and took down a stack of red bills.
"You're a good kid. I thought you were too young and not that reliable. I didn't expect you to be quite good and handled this matter very well."
Boss Jin patted me on the shoulder with a look of appreciation on his face.
He put his arm around my shoulders and walked forward, and I followed his force, but I couldn't help but look back at my cousin.
Boss Jin looked particularly appreciative of me. He lit a cigarette for himself and handed me one: "Just follow your uncle and work hard. If you two join forces, you might be able to make a lot of money."
"Wenzhou, you and Dongjing follow our car. I will take you to my house for a good meal."
Boss Jin turned around to say hello to my cousin and took me into the black Audi he was driving.
