Chapter 10: Happiness after the dust has settled Four
When I woke up the next morning, I felt a splitting headache and warned myself not to drink too much next time. As for what happened last night, I couldn't remember it clearly. Fortunately, my parents just thought that I was under a lot of academic pressure recently, and took advantage of the school party to relieve it, so they didn't blame me too much.
An Yixuan and his friends were invited to visit the national team because they won first place. The visit took nearly a week and we didn’t have much time to talk.

My heart suddenly went cold, but I just held back my tears, nodded and said, "Okay, go have some fun and relax."

"I know." I smiled. "You can go now." Then I turned and ran away.
"Xizi, you've missed An Yixuan so much that you've become haggard. Don't worry, when An Yixuan comes back you will be the same as before. Don't think too much." Lingling has been comforting me.
"I hope so. I also hope that I am just imagining things." I said worriedly, afraid that history would repeat itself.
I spent a week in a sluggish state, with no interest in anything. I just kept up with my studies and my appetite decreased a lot. I have never felt that time passed so slowly before. Every minute and every second seemed to be magnified. For the first time, I had a deep understanding of the phrase "days pass by like years".
A week passed slowly. On Sunday, I was lazily lying at home. I had no interest in going out to play, nor did I want to watch TV series. An old movie was playing on the TV channel, and I was lying on the sofa, daydreaming.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Puzzled, I got up and stood by the door to ask who it was.
"It's me, I'm Xinmeng, Xizi, I want to talk to you." A girl's voice came from outside the door.
How did Xin Meng know my address? I took a breath, opened the door and invited Xin Meng in.
Xin Meng was wearing a very fairy-like white dress. Although we were both wearing white dresses, I have to say that she looked more graceful and beautiful in it than I did. She had a bow tied in her hair with a white ribbon that hung down to her waist. Her dress reminded me of Xiao Long Nu...but the smile on her oval face was too ostentatious, and her eyes were too sharp.
"How do you know my address?" I looked at her curiously and asked, "What do you want from me?"
"After all, I'm a member of the Student Union, so it's not difficult to find a classmate's address!" Xin Meng said with a smile, "I want to talk to you about An Yixuan." She went straight to the point.
"An Yixuan?" I raised my eyebrows. "What do you want to say?"

"I think it's weird for us to talk about this. If An Yixuan wants to be with you, he can just tell me. What's the big deal about you doing this?" I controlled my emotions and remained calm.

"Really? If you are so confident, you should go find Anyixuan. Why are you looking for me?" I said with a stern face, "I don't want to discuss this topic with you." I made a gesture to see the guest off.
Xin Meng didn't seem to be leaving. She still looked at me with a confident expression: "An Yixuan will definitely be with me."
I felt my body shaking uncontrollably and wanted to continue saying something when my cell phone rang. I answered it immediately and An Yixuan's voice came from the microphone.
"Xizi, I'm back. I can't wait any longer. I'm downstairs at your house now. Come down. I have something to say to you." His voice was anxious and full of anticipation.
"Okay, I'll go down right away." I looked at Xin Meng and hung up the phone. "An Yixuan is waiting for me downstairs. Do you want to go down with me?"
"No need. I'd better not get involved in your conversation. But remember, Anyixuan will definitely be mine." Xin Meng's smile froze a little, but she still said unyieldingly, then slammed the door and walked out.
I went into the room, changed my clothes and went downstairs. I saw An Yixuan walking around anxiously downstairs. He must have come in a hurry as he was carrying a luggage bag.
"An Yixuan, I'm here." I walked over and called him, not knowing how to continue.
"Xizi!" An Yixuan put down his luggage bag and walked towards me. He had a smile on his face, but his expression was a little nervous. "Xizi, you know what? I miss you so much!" He held my shoulders. "I miss you every day during these days I was away!"
"Me too, I missed you too..." I whispered, my face blushing involuntarily .
"Xizi, although we didn't say it clearly, I have already regarded you as my girlfriend, do you understand? I thought you knew that because of your appearance, I have no feelings for Yayi or Xinmeng at all. I don't like them, do you know? You are the only one in my heart!" An Yixuan's eyes were shining and he looked at me straight.
I was stunned for a moment, staring at him blankly, not knowing how to answer. Maybe it was too big a surprise, or maybe it was too much worry, I was speechless.
"Why are you so unconfident? Why don't you trust me? You are unhappy, and you are afraid that I will fall in love with someone else! No, Xizi, I love you, you are the one I love the most!" An Yixuan said excitedly, in a loud voice, as if he wanted everyone in the world to hear that the person he loves is me.
My eyes turned red involuntarily: "What do you know? I am really not confident. You are so outstanding, so dazzling, like a star, but what about me? I am so ordinary, so insignificant. I went through a lot of hardships to get into St. John's. I chased after you, but so many people like you. I don't know if you really like me. I don't know if you will like someone who is better and more beautiful than me. You don't understand how worried I am... I stand in front of you... I feel so inferior... I really like you, but I don't want you to be with me out of pity for me... I want you to fall in love with me!" I yelled at him.
"Xizi, you are so silly. You are not ordinary at all, you are not insignificant at all. In my eyes, you are like a goddess. You are unique. How could I be with you just because I feel sorry for you? I really like you and fall in love with you. Xizi, I will prove to you that even after 10 years, you will still be the one I love the most!" An Yixuan looked at me excitedly and said.
"What... what 10 years later..." I looked at An Yixuan in shock. How could he know what would happen 10 years later? What else did he know?
Just as I was extremely shocked, a vase fell from the sky. When I looked up, I saw Xin Meng in white clothes passing by, followed by An Yixuan's exclamation. The huge vase broke into pieces in front of my eyes, and the small pieces flew onto my legs. I felt dizzy and passed out .
