Chapter 1 First Encounter

Autumn of 1990 arrived exceptionally early.

The streets at dusk seemed somewhat desolate. Gusts of wind rustled the old poplar trees along the roadside, rustling them and then tumbling, unreasonably blowing yellow leaves all over the ground.

Outside the gates of Jingtan High School,

Fang Qing, clutching her backpack, was frantically running down the long alley, a flurry of footsteps following closely behind her.

"Stop her! Don't let her get away!"

The streetlight at the end of the road seemed Fang Qing's last hope. She pushed herself hard and was about to rush out when a group of people suddenly appeared, completely blocking her way.

  "Are you Fang Qing?"

A man, wearing blue bell-bottom pants, a red shirt, and a black jacket, emerged from the crowd. His curly hair framed a plain yet unrefined face.

The curly-haired man stopped a few meters away from Fang Qing, struck a match, lit his cigarette, took a few deep puffs, and squinted his eyes, exhaling a puff of smoke.

Fang Qing clutched her bag to her chest as the crowd gradually forced her back against the wall, her face pale as paper.

It was him! She would never forget that face!

In a previous life, it was him and a group of men who had abducted her on her way home from school!
Fang Qing's heart sank as horrific memories flooded back.

In her previous life, she had been robbed of her innocence by those thugs, then coerced into becoming their plaything. It wasn't until she became pregnant that the truth could no longer be hidden.

She was expelled from school. Her father, upon learning of her misfortune, had an accident on his way home. Her mother, overcome by the double blow, suffered a heart attack and passed away. And her brother, seeking revenge for her, was pushed off a glacier in the dead of winter...

Everything stemmed from her. In despair, she attempted suicide several times, but was stopped only to be confined to a mental hospital, where she remained forever.

Unable to endure the torture in the institution, she committed suicide, only to be unexpectedly reborn at the age of six.

Her life, a life of confusion, felt like an inescapable nightmare, and upon waking, her personality was completely transformed.

She stopped going out, didn't like making friends, and became increasingly quiet and withdrawn. After school, she secretly stuffed self-defense weapons in her backpack and begged her uncle to teach her boxing. She even insisted that her father and eldest brother pick her up when other children went to and from school alone...

Everything had been peaceful so far, so why did these people show up just today when her eldest brother didn't come to pick her up?
She had never seen these people before, so how did they know her name?
These details that Fang Qing had not noticed in her previous life suddenly flooded into her mind, making her more and more terrified the more she thought about it...

Seeing her standing there without saying a word, the curly-haired man slowly approached.

"Hey, I didn't see it clearly just now, you are quite pretty little sister... Why did you run away just now? You brothers are not bad people, you just want to chat with you..." The curly-haired man rubbed his eyes, which were a little hungover, and extended his hand as he spoke.

The man's foul odor and lewd laughter finally brought Fang Qing back to her senses. Fear and shame filled her heart. In panic, she pulled out an iron rod as thick as a chopstick from her backpack and slammed it on the back of the man's hand.

As a red mark appeared on the man's hand, the curly-haired man covered his hand with a cry, took a few steps back, and squatted down in a curled up position.

"Ah!... You dare to hit me, bitch? Come on! Come on, catch her! I'll kill you!"

Looking at the people who surrounded her, Fang Qing's heart almost jumped out of her chest, but years of preparation gave her the final courage: no matter what, she would never believe in fate this time!

In desperation, she was like a madman, constantly waving the iron rod in her hand and hitting people wildly, and she actually injured several people in succession.

Seeing the girl clinging to the wall and about to run, Curly Hair flew into a rage, kicking his men aside. "Stop her! Don't let her get away! All of you, come on! I don't believe so many of you can't handle this little girl!"

The men, fearing Curly Hair's orders, braved the pain and pounced on Fang Qing.

Fang Qing screamed and struggled, but soon her strength was exhausted. The men restrained her and forced her to her knees.

"Slap!" The sound of the slapping sound and the burning pain on her face made Fang Qing's mind blur. Before she could regain consciousness, another slap came.

"You bitch! You dare to hit me? I'll beat you to death!"

  "Slap! Slap! Slap!"

After being slapped a dozen times, Fang Qing's vision was spinning, and she could hear nothing but a ringing sound. She tried to scream for help, but all her strength seemed to drain her. She could only let them throw her into a corner like trash.

The sound of belts being unfastened and the men's lewd laughter made Fang Qing tremble.

She struggled to get up, but someone held her hands and feet tightly, preventing her from moving.

The cold ground gradually seeped out a chill, like a ghost from the underworld, trying to drag her back to hell...

No, no! Don't do this to her! She never wanted to experience the humiliation and despair of her previous life again!
Since she couldn't fight fate, she would just give her life back to God! !
Tears streamed down her cheeks, and Fang Qing bit her tongue with all her strength.

"The police are coming, the police are coming!"

Just as several people stepped forward to tear Fang Qing's clothes, someone shouted, and the men surrounding Fang Qing were so scared that they quickly pulled up their pants and fled in panic.

The curly-haired man cast a regretful glance at Fang Qing lying on the ground. "You're lucky, bitch!" He took two steps before remembering the injury on his hand. He returned and stomped hard on the back of Fang Qing's hand before walking away.

Fang Qing, overcome by shock and pain, fainted.

When the alley fell completely silent, two small heads popped out from the nearby iron gate.

"Brother, help!" A young girl with pigtails scurried over. Seeing the gang had already fled, she turned back and whispered toward the alley entrance.

A thin young man reluctantly stepped out. At his sister's urging, he slowly made his way toward Fang Qing, but stopped short.

"Go over there first, and help that girl... ahem... get some clothes covered," the young man said, turning his head and coughing as a warning to his sister.

The girl, realizing something, hurried over to Fang Qing's side. In the dim light, she examined her for a long moment, confirming she was fully clothed. Only then did she breathe a sigh of relief.

"Great, she's fine. She might have been knocked unconscious. Brother, let's carry her away!"

The boy breathed a sigh of relief and quickly stepped forward to help. But in the end, because his sister didn't have enough strength, the boy had to carry Fang Qing on his back, and the two of them quickly left.

Not long after the two of them left with Fang Qing, a dark figure sneaked to the entrance of the alley. After searching for a long time, he stomped his feet and turned away.
