Volume 6: Summer Chapter 30 Nightmare
After chatting with Chen Nan for a while, Jiang You found the book "Hong Fu Ye Run" which he had read halfway last time. His favorite seat was vacant, so he sat over and flipped through a few pages before he felt sleepy. He looked up at the window. The sun was bright and the air conditioner was on in the store, so he didn't feel hot.
Chen Nan lowered her head and flipped through a few pages of the book. She walked over to him with a cup of iced latte. As soon as she put the cup down, Jiang You reached out and grabbed her wrist. A trace of doubt flashed in Chen Nan's eyes. She leaned over and asked softly, "What's wrong?"
The hair slid down her face.
A rose gold smile clavicle chain swayed gently at the collar of the shirt.
Jiang You loosened his hand and asked, "When will Xiao Liu come over?"
"What do you want to do?"
"I want to go out for a walk."
"Just keep watching. I'll call you later." Chen Nan touched his head, stood up, and walked back to the counter gracefully.
Jiang You withdrew his gaze, quickly flipped a few pages of the book, then turned to the end to read the ending, turned his head to look out the window, and after being in a daze for a while, he closed the book and closed his eyes.

Jin Cheng suddenly stood up from the bed.
The curtains were drawn and the lights were off, so the dormitory was very dark . He looked around, as if he was confirming something. After a few minutes, he exhaled and relaxed.
He picked up the phone and dialed a number. As soon as the connection tone sounded, he realized something. After hanging up, he found Chang Lizhang's phone number in the address book and called.
Soon, the phone was connected.
"Uncle Chang, it's me. I had a dream."
"you say."
"I seemed to see a lot of tube-like things, black tubes, some thick and some thin," Jin Cheng said. He shuddered involuntarily and hugged the quilt tightly. "It might be some kind of creature. They were wriggling like earthworms. Their skin was very hard and cold. I don't know how to describe it. I feel very scared. I think this dream means something."
Chang Lizhang pulled down the train curtains and said to his phone, "I see. Are you in the dormitory now?"
"Yes, I, do you want me to go to Chucheng to find you?"
"I'm on the train and will be in Tangjiang soon."
"You went to Tangjiang?" Jin Cheng was a little surprised.
"Yes, I'm on a business trip. I'll probably be away for a week or two," Chang Lizhang said in a soothing tone. He asked, "What did Brother Zheng tell you before?"
Jin Cheng said, "Write it down and try to draw it. I, I'll try to draw it."
"Okay, tell me if anything happens."
"Okay, go ahead and get busy, Uncle Chang."
Chang Lizhang hung up the phone.
After the train had traveled for more than half an hour, we arrived at Tangjiang City. I got off the train with my suitcase and followed the crowd out of the station.
"Brother Chang, here."
Chang Lizhang looked in the direction where the sound came from and immediately saw Sun Yu.
He walked over, "Sun Yu, we meet again."
"Tangjiang is hotter than Chucheng, right?" Sun Yu took Chang Lizhang's suitcase and said, "The car is in the parking lot. Let's walk over for a while."
Chang Lizhang looked up at the sun and said, "It's hotter than Chu City. It's only May."
"Let's go to the hotel first, take a rest, and then go to the bureau tomorrow."
"Do you guys have a restaurant you usually go to? I'd like to treat everyone to dinner tonight. Are you free?"
"No, no, Brother Chang, come here. It must be us who invited you."
"Yes, yes. Please help me reserve a seat and I'll talk to your section chief."
After walking to the parking lot, finding the car and getting in, Chang Lizhang called Tang Butian. After a sincere invitation, Tang Butian agreed. Then she asked Jiang You and Guan Nuo if they were free, and Guan Nuo quickly replied.
Jiang You looked at the phone screen with some hesitation.
Chen Nan walked out of the convenience store holding two ice cream cones. She stuffed one into Jiang You's hand and said, "No chocolate, only vanilla and mango."
She noticed Jiang You's expression, "What's the matter?"
"The friend I met in Chu City last time came over today. He wants to treat me to a meal," Jiang You looked at Chen Nan, "Do you want to go with us?"
"Go ahead, it's getting late," Chen Nan took a bite of the ice cream cone, "I just need to go to the market."
"I was thinking about having a free meal today."
"You haven't gotten enough."
“Not enough.”
Chen Nan glanced at Jiang You and tapped his stomach with his finger.

The hotel where Chang Lizhang stayed was very close to the Public Security Bureau, and it took about ten minutes to walk there. The restaurant that Sun Yu booked was also nearby, and it was a restaurant that the bureau often went to for dinner parties. The dishes were generous in size and the presentation was thoughtful. Tang Butian and Guan Nuo both came from school, which was relatively close, so when Jiang You arrived, several dishes had already been served.
After Jiang You walked into the box, he heard Chang Lizhang calling him.
"Brother Jiang, if you don't come, we'll run out of food."

Jiang You pulled out a chair and sat down on the left side of Chang Lizhang. He saw that the tea was poured into the cup, so he picked it up and drank half of it in one gulp.
"Would you like something to drink?" Chang Lizhang asked him.
Jiang You glanced at the table and said, "Beer, please."
Chang Lizhang poured wine for Jiang You.
"Are you coming to the meeting?" Jiang You asked.
"Yes," Chang Lizhang took a sip of wine, "I may enter the research institute in the second half of the year, and then I will be stationed in Tangjiang."
The spoon that Tang Butian used to scoop a spoonful of shrimps paused in mid-air.
Chang Lizhang turned his head and looked at her. "Before the institute became independent, it was a department affiliated with the Academy of Sciences. My parents worked there at the time."
Tang Bu Tian nodded. She placed the spoon flat on the plate and ate the fruits one by one with chopsticks.
"I may have to trouble you all the time in the future," said Chang Lizhang.
"Maybe we are the ones who need to trouble you." Seeing that Guan Nuo hadn't touched his chopsticks, Jiang You said, " Guan Nuo, you will graduate after this semester, right?"
Guan Nuo raised his head and said, "Yes, we are about to graduate."
"Have you defended yourself?"
"It'll be soon. I'll defend my thesis in early June, and then take graduation photos. There's nothing else to do."
"Do you live in school or at home now?"
"I can't live in the school for a few more days."
"Oh, actually, I have something I need your help with."
" What's the matter?" Guan Nuo asked.
Jiang You processed his words and told Guan Nuo again, "If you live on campus, it will be troublesome to come here."
Guan Nuo said: "It's okay, just tell me a day in advance. There are several farewell dinners to be eaten, so just stagger them over a few days."

Jiang You picked up the wine glass and took a sip towards her.

Jiang You said, "That will be hard work for you. Speaking of that coal tit, it's really good-looking and smart. When I took it to the park, those bird keepers were really envious of me."
