Volume 5: The Burning Golden Flame Chapter 411 Voldemort: I am glad

When Draco heard the name Voldemort from Jon's mouth, his whole face froze.
There was not a trace of pretense in his frightened expression. His body was trembling and his red eyes were staring at Jon.
"You, you, how dare you say that name!"
However, Jon had completely lost interest in talking to him. Instead, he grabbed his collar and forced Draco to come to the wooden door.
"I'm not testing you, Voldemort. If you really think I'm just trying to trick you, then we can just give the championship to Draco Malfoy."
Draco subconsciously wanted to struggle, but his body didn't have much strength, let alone break free from John's hands!
Just as John and Draco were about to enter the room where the Triwizard Cup was stored, a black gas suddenly emerged from Draco's body!
Jon stopped what he was doing, and threw Draco back to the ground as if he had turned into a branding iron.
Draco was extremely panicked. He obviously realized that something was wrong with him, but he soon found that he could no longer control his body.
The mouth that was originally wide open due to fear gradually closed, and then revealed a strange expression that was neither a smile nor a smile.
The Draco standing in front of John had become a completely different person. Not only the expression on his face, but even his behavior and temperament had changed drastically!
The black mist was lingering around him. He stood up from the ground, gently brushed the dust off his robe, and looked into Jon's eyes.
"I'm curious, how did you guess that? I didn't think you would notice anything wrong?"
John did not put down the sword of Gryffindor in his hand, and he also held a wand in his other hand. He looked coldly at the man who had completely occupied Draco's body.
"Now it's just me and Malfoy standing in front of this door. Isn't this a bit too coincidental and smooth for us?"
Voldemort shrugged and stroked Malfoy's hawthorn wand.
"Can this be called smooth sailing? If you hadn't found the Sorting Hat and pulled the sword out of it, you would have really died. This is the result you fought so hard to get, Jon Green. If this can be called smooth sailing, then in your eyes, it is right for me to appear in front of you in person?"
He seemed to be in a talkative mood, but Jon knew exactly where his desire to chat came from.
"I risked my life to get this result, but both I and Professor Dumbledore have a high opinion of your wisdom, Mr. Riddle." Jon changed his address, and the golden flames in his eyes seemed to be jumping with the rhythm of his heartbeat. "You want to deal with me, and you want to plot against me and take my life, but you have failed twice, the time with the Lestranges and the time with the dragon in the first game. If this Triwizard Tournament is your ultimate goal, then today is your last chance. This last time, I don't think you will pin your thoughts on your men. Even if you give him a part of your soul, it is not enough. These are just preparations, just preparations for me to relax my guard and get the Triwizard Cup without any precautions. Because if you do nothing, then with your understanding of me, you must know that I will be suspicious and will probably find something wrong in the end, right?"
"Malfoy is the best target. You know he is a useless student. That is why you deliberately chose him to represent Hogwarts Castle. No one would care about such a contestant, not to mention that Lucius Malfoy's previous contact with me must have escaped your eyes. I even suspect that you deliberately indulged Lucius to do this in order to paralyze me and let me completely let down my guard against him. And just now, he came too coincidentally. It was such a coincidence that he was arranged to enter the castle to participate in the competition when the sun set. It was also such a coincidence that he came to the library just after I dealt with the Lestrange father and son. Maybe he himself may not know that you have already subtly influenced his consciousness."
Voldemort listened very seriously. He didn't seem to have any hostility towards John. Instead, his eyes were full of admiration, the kind of admiration that was not concealed at all.
"You still haven't guessed my idea, Jon." He spoke as if he were talking to a good friend. "It's just that your vigilance and caution made you accidentally discover my secret about Draco Malfoy, but in fact, you still know nothing about my plan."
John was not in a hurry either. Villains die because they talk too much. Now it is obvious that he is a decent guy and Voldemort is the villain, so the more he talks, the faster he dies. Of course, John was not in a hurry.
"So, can you answer some of my questions for me?"
"You've done something big, Jon. Bigger than you can imagine."
Voldemort stared at John with his eyes that remained cold no matter how the smile on his face changed.
"Everything changed the moment the contract was torn up from that idiot Stocker who wanted to fly to the sky on that high tower, you know?"
"That was the only best way I had found to balance the two souls for the time being! It allowed me to merge with myself, and even if I hadn't succeeded completely, I would have become an unprecedented wizard, powerful enough to become a god. But you tore it up, messed up my arrangements in that tower, and got me into a lot of trouble, Jon Green."
"Originally, the other me was resisting. That brainless idiot has always wanted to gain control, and now that you've given him such a chance, he certainly won't give up. It's impossible for us to go back to the way we were before, but that idiot has finally lost his mind. After seeing that Dumbledore had besieged the French Ministry of Magic, he was willing to reach an agreement with me to work together to resolve the threat at hand, and then fight for the ownership of the body. It was at that time that Bella and Rodolphus hunted you down. I admit that was the time when I really wanted to kill you, but it was only that time. After that failure, I was not as angry as you imagined, Jon. On the contrary, I was very happy that there was such a talented person as you in this magical world!"
Jon noticed the change in his eyes. It was not just coldness, but now there was a hint of... greed!
