Volume 4: White Devil Chapter 191 Good Night, America

On Friday, May 6, 1988, after more than a year of preparation, the BT TV network finally officially went live.
With the help of 112 cooperative TV stations, BT TV's programs are distributed in 37 states and 102 cities.
Inside the BT TV studio, one hundred and twelve color TV screens show everyone in the studio in real time what programs the one hundred and twelve TV stations are pushing to the audience at that moment.
At 18:29:59, Tommy pressed the start button.
As the start button was pressed, the 112 screens scattered across the studio walls immediately changed from being messy to being unified, with the words BTTV and the channel logo displayed on the pure black screens, with a phrase below.

Be Tale Crazy

That is the promotional phrase of BT TV station, which is embedded with the two letters BT representing the TV station and also indicates the style of BT TV station.
Spicy, stimulating, anti-traditional, walking on the edge of morality and law.
All the BT TV employees in the studio applauded loudly. They had worked so hard for this day.
After the TV station logo was displayed, the screen changed to a brightly lit news studio. A middle-aged black man weighing at least 250 pounds placed his left forearm on the table, staring at the camera with a pair of round eyes, and began the "Today's Black News" program. Even though the director signaled that he had already started, he still methodically took a last sip of the straw and drank the Coke dry. Then he put the Coke under the table and said calmly:
"Welcome to BTTV. This is Black News Today. I know everyone in front of the TV is confused. First of all, I want to say that there is absolutely nothing wrong with your TV. Don't worry about paying someone to fix it. Secondly, suppress the urge to pick up the phone and call the police. I am definitely not a terrorist who hijacked the TV station. I am a news anchor. Look, this is my work ID. It says Kevin Cedric , Chief Anchor of BTTV News Channel. The positions that are not written include VIP high-spending customers of the KFC restaurant opposite BT TV station and the best potential customer in the eyes of the sales consultant of Madison Gym across from BT TV station."
"This is BTTV, the niggers' own TV station, Black News Today. I, a nigger, call the shots. It's a news program that really cares about you niggers. Let's cut to the chase. Anyway, you'll see me every day at this time, so stop pretending to be caring about you like those presidents and secretaries of state through the screen. Let's get down to business. I'll start with the first piece of news that I think is very important to black people. If you're black, it's absolutely important."
"More than 20 years ago, on September 15, 1963, a bombing occurred at the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama. Black people over 40 should still remember it. Several white KKK members used explosives to detonate the place. Four lovely black girls died in the explosion, and more than 20 black compatriots were injured and hospitalized. So many years have passed. If those four 13-year-old girls were still alive, they would be the same age as me this year, sitting happily on the sofa and watching TV with their families. You may say, of course we remember, their sacrifice was not in vain. Kevin, Martin Luther King and many other black people held marches for them. The government was eventually forced to introduce various equal rights bills under the call of black people. Their sacrifice was not in vain..."
"Let me tell you a truth that other TV stations will never tell you black people. That is, early this morning, the main culprit of the bombing died in a nursing home. He lived to be 81 years old. He did not die of electric shock or hanging. He didn't even spend a day in jail for killing four black girls or the more than 20 black people who were injured in the bombing. Not even a single day! He used all kinds of legal loopholes, insufficient evidence, feigning illness, and inciting public opinion as excuses to delay the trial for more than 20 years. He never apologized for killing black people from beginning to end, and eventually died of old age in a nursing home. It is said that more than 200 white supremacists visited him before he died. The nursing home also provided him with hospice care and invited a priest to help him ascend to heaven..."
"Honestly, when my editor told me the news, I thought he was lying? How is this possible? We live in the fucking United States? My editor also looked at me seriously and said to me, why not, we live in the fucking United States!"
"Tell me, besides my show, in what other newspapers, what other TV news programs, what other radio programs have you heard or seen this news? Do you understand now how important it is to see me every day? The truth about black people."
"Because I will tell you some news that the white people never want us to know. They hope that we black people will always be ignorant idiots. I won't let them succeed. This is the meaning of my appearance on TV. I will tell you the truth that every black person has the right to know. Next, the second news..."
While others were still staring at the screen, Tommy quietly turned around and walked out of the studio.
From the moment he founded the TV station, he knew that the lower-class black people would not refuse the programs he carefully prepared. He believed that since most white families were still the main consumers, other TV networks would not completely ignore the white audience group like he did and instead spend huge sums of money to create a series of self-made programs around black people, even FOX.
All the employees, including Sophia, were staring at the TV and had no time to notice Tommy's departure. Tommy walked slowly up the stairs to the terrace.
On the terrace, Susan, Jim and Actor's earliest angel investor, Tommy's Stanford SSD alumnus Benjamin Rosen, had a TV in front of them and were watching the black news program that had just been aired on BT TV with great interest.
"I'm curious where Tommy got this news. If I haven't missed it, it seems that none of the newspapers I subscribe to mentioned this news today." Jim Manz, CEO of KeyBank, sat in front of the TV, watching the black host Kevin reporting the news, and asked the two of them with some confusion:
"I don't know if you understand this, but I know how to run a free TV network's evening news show. When I was at McKinsey, I was exposed to the consulting business of TV networks. In this kind of news department, all their employees will buy a copy of all the mainstream newspapers on the market before going to work in the morning. Then after arriving at the company, the entire news department will hold a meeting to discuss various front-page news and vote on which news to include in their own news programs. The host has a veto power. Let's put it this way, if the Associated Press and major newspapers have no news, then the TV network will also have no news. So the source of Tommy's first news just now is absolutely exclusive. How did this guy find it?"
"My dad told me that a few days ago, one of his co-workers named Wilson received a handwritten letter from the deceased, thanking Wilson for donating five dollars to pay the astronomical bail for him. Now he is about to leave this world, so before he goes away, he wrote back to everyone who helped him. My dad and I were chatting on the phone, and I thought it would be a good idea to use it as an exclusive news. Black people will like this kind of exclusive news." Tommy came over, sat down next to the three of them, looked at the screen, and said with a smile.
Benjamin looked at Tommy, who was obviously much more mature. In recent years, thanks to EFF created by Tommy, his wealth has increased a lot. Although without EFF, he is also confident that he can make money in the computer industry, but it will definitely not be so easy, and he will not have the current industry status. Seeing Tommy's gaze, he smiled:
"It requires a large investment and is risky. You don't want your good friend Stephen to bear the responsibility for you, so you come to me, an old guy whose heart can't handle it even better?"
"Benjamin, please, you are my entrepreneurial mentor. In my heart, my feelings for you are like my father's feelings for his uncle. I regard you as a family member, but you regard me as a materialistic young man who only knows how to talk about money? This makes me so sad." Hearing Benjamin's ridicule, Tommy opened his arms with a face full of grievance and explained to the other party.
"Let me remind you, Mr. Benson, Tommy once mentioned in a conversation that his father almost sent his uncle to an AIDS research center to get free treatment for his hearing loss at the cost of contracting AIDS." Jim, grinning, helped Tommy to sabotage the situation.
Tommy looked at Jim: "Fuck You! Jim! Why can't you just be hard of hearing?"
"Because I'm not your great uncle." Jim looked at Susan, then at Benjamin, and then said to Tommy in a firm tone:
"I guess you didn't invite the three of us here just to have us congratulate you in person on the successful launch of your black TV station. You'd better talk about something that interests me, or at least make me feel that the time I spent flying from New York to Los Angeles was worth it."
Seeing Tommy was about to speak, Jim quickly added:
"I don't care how Benjamin or Susan will answer you. Anyway, my attitude is that I have no money, no people, and nothing at all."
Susan stood up and helped Tommy open a beer. She walked over and handed it to Tommy, then said, "Jim, don't be like this. Tommy didn't ask you for money when he was preparing for the TV station. How could he have this idea after the show started?"
"That bastard said this to you? He didn't ask me for money before the show started? Do you think he would be willing to take money out of his own account to set up a black TV station? That bastard doesn't even sleep with black girls, and you actually think he would be willing to spend money on black people?" Jim took the glass and looked at Tommy with anger on his face:
"If there's no KeyBank, have you been able to survive this long with the money you earned from selling your body, Tommy?"
Tommy took a sip of beer and looked at Jim with a smile: "I made the money by selling my body, Jim. I am so great. I sell my body to raise money to provide the black brothers with their favorite programs."
"I'm the fucking prostitute. I don't know how many times I've sold my body to make money for you. You know, I wouldn't feel anything even if a train drove into my body from behind." As Jim spoke, he clapped his hands together, making a clapping sound.
"If the remuneration I earned was not enough to compensate for the psychological damage and repair the physical damage, I would have sued you for forcing your partner to sell her body."
"Jim said he has nothing, but I'm different. I have to hear what you have to say before I can decide whether I am rich or not, Tommy." Benjamin waited for Jim to finish speaking and said to Tommy.
He knew that Tommy would not invite him to be a guest on TV for no reason, but if Tommy wanted him to pay, there must be a reason that was attractive enough to him.
Tommy picked up Jim's cigarette on the table, lit it and took a puff. "You see, my TV career has just started, and my main audience is still the not-so-rich lower-class black people, so my income can only come from helping advertisers place various advertisements, and the return on payment will be very slow. And if my judgment is correct, my best black friend in the TV industry, Wolf Tucker, will definitely show up at BT TV tomorrow in anger. He is not angry at me, but at Earl Rush and his people. He will think that those people taught me bad things, because when I recruited him, I discussed the future development with him countless times. He knows that my conception of BT is definitely not so vulgar and without any depth. He will definitely come to save me."
"So, that guy treats you as his best white friend, a mentor he trusts, and after witnessing that a black man like Earl misled you, he will try to persuade you to get back on the right track, and you take advantage of his guilt for leaving you and prepare to throw a tough job at him?" In order to meet Tommy, Jim didn't even drink a drop of alcohol that night, because he knew that Tommy called him because he needed his help, not a drunken congratulations, so he was clear-headed. As soon as Tommy finished speaking, he immediately knew that Tommy was going to put shackles on a hapless black man.
Tommy looked at Jim with satisfaction and nodded slightly: "Yeah, I'm glad to see that your brain has not been ruined by the alcohol in New York. Jim, Wolfe's team is not suitable for the current channel style of BT TV station..."
Although Tommy praised Jim, Jim's reaction was to shake his head and stare:
"I can't listen to it anymore. I told you that you have no money, no people, and nothing. Don't even think about telling me that you're going to launch a second channel right after your first channel is launched!"
"I want to start a 24-hour cable news network. Wolf Tucker can't be the president, but I think I can give him a position in the management team to help me complete the preliminary work. He is very familiar with this job and has done it three times." Tommy expressed his thoughts frankly.
After hearing what Tommy said, Benjamin didn't rush to speak. If Tommy just wanted to launch a 24-hour news channel immediately, this reason would not be able to convince him to take out the money.
As for Susan, she didn't care at all. She wouldn't express her opinion anyway and was used to Tommy making the decisions. Moreover, her income from EFF was the same as Tommy's, which was handed over to Sophia and entrusted to a Wall Street company to manage. If Tommy wanted her to take out the money, he wouldn't let her come over to talk in person because there was no need.
Only Jim, who had just said that he would neither contribute money nor manpower, put away his playful expression and looked at Tommy seriously after Tommy mentioned that he was going to launch a news TV network:
"On the plane to Los Angeles, I guessed why you called me over. Opening another channel was one of my guesses, so I did some research. CNN officially started broadcasting in 1980, and as of now, 1988, it has barely achieved 11 million subscribers. A large part of this is due to its good luck. At the scene of the Challenger space shuttle crash in 1986, other TV stations were not interested in reporting on the scene, so CNN got the exclusive opportunity to report on the disaster. This disaster increased its subscribers by more than 3 million that month. It can be said that if the Challenger had not exploded that year, CNN would have closed down long ago. Turner Jr. was still looking for investment from major investment banks on Wall Street last year. How could you not understand that the United States has so many 24-hour paid sports channels, paid movie channels, and even paid adult channels, but there is no paid news channel. Because the United States simply does not have so much news that can allow a TV station to broadcast it 24 hours a day."
"I can testify that what Jim said about Turner helping CNN find investment on Wall Street is true." Benjamin added, "CNN's losses are indeed serious."
"Why are you losing money? Why are you looking for investment all over the world? Because CNN's monthly subscription fee is 20 cents. Even if you don't consider how much tax it has to pay, it can only make 2.2 million a month with 11 million subscribers. It's not even enough to pay for the satellite signal rental, not to mention the labor expenses." Jim said to Tommy seriously with a twinkling eye:
"Besides the fact that CNN happened to be there during the Challenger crash, what other news can you remember from it? You can buy a newspaper and read the news, or watch important news on the free evening news on TV. Why pay to subscribe to a news channel? The minimum annual satellite lease fee is 30 million, which means at least 20 million subscribers are needed to pay for the lease, and 25 million subscriptions are barely enough to break even. Eight years, 11 million. According to CNN's development data, it will take 16 years to reach 25 million subscribers. Are you sure you are mentally prepared to lose money for 16 years before breaking even? I know you want to be the eyes of the American people, and I also know you drool over FOX, but FOX is not as eager as you. Just stabilize your current black audience group, and I believe you will also be valued by those politicians."
Seeing that Tommy was just looking at him and smiling without saying anything, Jim smacked his lips and softened his tone a little:
"Did you know that the average age of CNN employees is less than 25 years old? Why? Because CNN cannot afford to pay salaries, so it has to keep hiring interns, fooling those rookies, training them in six days, and then issuing them press cards or editors and directors to start working. They squeeze them with $3 an hour, and fool them into thinking that they will get a share of the big money in the future. In fact, other TV networks will not consider hiring news directors or reporters who resign from CNN because they think their work experience at CNN is just playing house."
"I understand, Jim, I understand. There is a reason why none of the three major TV networks have their own news channels, right?" Tommy smiled and looked at Jim, who was advising him with a sincere look on his face, and said with gratitude.
Jim saw Tommy's expression and immediately changed his face. He said in a stronger tone, "You don't understand! I know you must have prepared some excuses later. I can only talk nonsense! Because I know it will cost a lot of money. Cable TV is not a free TV network. It needs real money to rent satellites. The annual cost of renting satellite bandwidth is at least 30 million! CNN currently has more than 300 employees. Labor costs are a huge expense? And you! You will never pay for it yourself. You will only say to me, Jim, I have a good idea, but I just need some money. You come up with a solution... I am your caring babysitter. Every time you excrete a kind of shit called a good idea from your body, you will call me, Jim, come and wipe my ass with the thing called money! Fuck!"
Hearing Jim's words, Susan and Benjamin couldn't help laughing. From Jim's crazy expression and angry tone, they knew that Tommy must have made Jim's position very uncomfortable over the years.
"I don't want to only do domestic news. I mean, domestic subscribers are of course important. My BT TV network is responsible for gathering the lower-class black people. This serious news network attracts middle-class and above domestic subscribers, but the main group in the early stage is overseas English subscribers. I mean, every country has its own news TV station, but there seems to be no English news TV network that is truly popular in the world." Tommy said to the three people.
Benjamin nodded slightly, then asked, “Can you tell me more about it?”
"The Soviet Union won't last much longer. The newspapers say that the three Baltic states have already declared independence, and a rebellion has broken out in the Caucasus. This behemoth that stands opposite the United States and owns half of the world is already on the verge of collapse. I just don't know when it will die." Tommy took a deep puff of his cigarette.
"When this behemoth collapses, there will be countless major news, such as the independence of the member states, the unification of Germany, the Moscow coup, and Gorbachev's possible defection to the United States. In short, any news may appear. As long as there are two or three such major news, our news network will become the first to be released globally, and a large number of regional news stations that cannot obtain news in a timely manner will seek cooperation, and a large number of overseas English subscribers will pay obediently. We are like mothers to those overseas news stations. We give them news, and they become our children. CBS, the largest television network in the United States, has only more than 300 cooperative television stations, and they are only limited to the United States. But what if we set our sights on overseas from the beginning?"
Be it the Berlin Wall or the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Jim, Susan and Benjamin did not think that Tommy was exaggerating. In fact, as Tommy said, the Soviet Union was now a dying old man, and it was unknown how long it would take for it to die. Now even many American newspapers could discuss the Soviet Union in a relaxed tone. As early as two years ago, in the eyes of Americans, the Soviet Union was no longer the red giant that made the whole world tremble with a military exercise a few years ago.
In the eyes of Americans, the Soviet Union is now a country that is somewhat similar to the United States, but worse than the United States. The similarity between them, for ordinary Americans, is that the United States was stuck in a quagmire in Vietnam, a country that most Americans could not find on the map, and the Soviet Union was also stuck in a quagmire in Afghanistan, which most Americans could not find on the map.
The Soviet Union's defeat in Afghanistan made most ordinary Americans feel relieved. The Soviet Union couldn't even defeat Afghanistan, so it was unlikely to attack the United States.
Benjamin looked at the host on TV who was talking nonstop about black news, but he was thinking about Tommy's concept of a global news network.
Just as Tommy said, there is indeed no global English news network in the world. The only one that is barely related to the world is the news network of the Murdoch Group. He has now achieved a near monopoly in the UK in Europe and Australia in Oceania. Thatcher was able to sit firmly as British Prime Minister thanks to the Murdoch Group's overwhelming publicity, which made her voice and appearance appear in front of the British people many times more times than her opponents. As for Murdoch's hometown of Australia, it goes without saying that both Australian parties have to look at Murdoch's face, and he can decide which candidate will appear in front of the voters to the greatest extent.
But even the ambitious Murdoch Group did not dare to rashly build a global English news television network. Instead, it chose to proceed step by step. After completely controlling public opinion in Australia and making all politicians bow down to him, he made sure that he had no worries. Then he launched a large-scale attack on Britain and fought with those British media companies. Only after he had dealt with Britain did he dare to land in America with the power of both countries. Even so, the financiers who provided loans to Murdoch were still frightened, because neither Australia nor Britain was comparable to the United States. And the fact is that Murdoch, who was invincible in Australia and Britain, had a hard time in the United States.
Benjamin believed that Murdoch's Jewish compatriot did not want to do it, but he did not dare to do it, because Tommy's idea was much riskier than taking a safe and steady approach. The Murdoch Group, which was burdened with nearly 10 billion US dollars in debt and had been financially strapped in the past two years, did not dare to try it. Benjamin came from Wall Street, and he knew that many investment banks were considering stopping supporting the Murdoch Group because of its huge losses and large-scale cash acquisitions in the past two years.
"The risk is extremely high, Tommy. I know you want to bet on breaking news, just like CNN was lucky enough to encounter the Challenger plane crash and gained more than three million subscribers that month. For this kind of breaking news that has attracted global attention, I believe that as long as you can release it first, you can gain tens of millions of subscribers worldwide. But the problem is, you can't guarantee that your news network will be able to release it first. How do you know where breaking news will happen?" Benjamin did not deny Tommy's idea, but just expressed his own concerns.
Television media professionals know that as long as they are the first to release major news, they can make a lot of money. The problem is, no one knows where the major news will happen, and no one knows what will happen the next day. Maybe your news team is concentrating on Moscow, waiting for a coup that could happen at any time. But what if, while you are chattering about Moscow in front of the camera, the President of the United States is suddenly shot?
"That's the second question I want to talk about, taking the initiative." Tommy looked at Benjamin and said:
"I don't know when the Berlin Wall will be torn down, or when the Soviet Union will die. Maybe this year, maybe next year, or maybe ten years later, but I can take the initiative."
"First, like CNN, recruit a few brainwashed young people who are willing to work hard and love journalism. They don't have to do anything. They just need to fly to Germany and report by the Berlin Wall. They need to do their news work around the wall every day. I will be more generous than CNN. I will reimburse their airfare, local accommodation and travel expenses, as long as they ensure that the news anchors in the studio have reporters standing by the wall at any time of the day and have something to say to the camera!"
"Second, we need to do some public relations. Jim worked at McKinsey, so he should be very familiar with this kind of thing. We don't need to get the time to demolish the wall. We just need to get East Germany to allow our reporters to stay there until the wall is demolished, whether by spending money or selling our bodies. And since we spent a lot of money, it must be exclusive. The advantage of doing this is that if other news organizations get ahead in West Germany, we can also be the first to publish from another perspective. We always have multiple perspectives."
"Third, technical support. I've studied the communication equipment of reporters from CNN and other well-known news channels in various countries. Their foreign correspondents rely on local telephone lines to connect with their own studios. If the telephone lines are destroyed or ordered to be suspended, they can't even get a fart out. Our reporters are all equipped with a portable satellite phone. Even if all local communication lines are destroyed, it will not affect the transmission of news directly to the studio."
"Think about it. The demolition of the Berlin Wall and the reunification of East and West Germany were major news to the world. If we were the first to inform the world, our subscribers would certainly increase. The disintegration of the Soviet Union and the Gulf War would happen sooner or later. As long as we ensure that we are the first to release major news like this two or three times, news organizations in various countries will know who to work with. The Soviet Union had so many member states. If they all became independent one after another, it would mean that we would have a lot of major news to report."
Jim licked his lips. Tommy, this bastard, always had this kind of ambition. When you thought he was trying to control the black community by setting up a black TV station, he actually wanted much more: "Use your overseas achievements to build a brand while exerting pressure on the country. If your news network is successful, I think the White House will take the initiative to provide you with the White House press pass that other TV stations need to apply for."
"That's right." Tommy nodded without denying it.
"You have a large number of low-income black audiences in your left hand, and a global English-speaking high-end audience who cares about the news in your right hand. If I were a person with political ambitions, I would definitely be proud to have the opportunity to help you lick your balls." Jim exhaled deeply.
"It's not scary for a person to have money, but it's scary for a person to know how to spend it. So, when is your shitty news network going to start broadcasting?"
"Here's the problem. I need someone to help me deal with the Soviet Union, to do the mediation work, to allow our reporters to be stationed there, and to be familiar with the situation there. Frankly speaking, someone has to help me deal with East Germany and the Soviet Union and ensure that our team of reporters can be stationed in East Berlin, Moscow and the various member states. Then we also need real experts on Soviet issues and international relations to serve as consultants for the news network and help us judge from the news sent back by those foreign correspondents every day whether there will be hot events we want to pay attention to in the near future. Before that, Wolf Tucker will be responsible for building the framework of this news network, relying on tepid news to barely attract subscribers, and when the Berlin Wall falls, we will use pre-release to officially announce our existence to the world." Tommy threw away his cigarette butt, took a sip of beer, and looked at Jim.
Jim cursed under his breath: "I've been to the Soviet Union, and KeyBank has some charity business in East Germany, so I'm the best choice? I guessed right again. You want both money and people."
Susan, who had been listening without speaking for most of the time, finally stopped being silent after hearing Tommy's words:
"If you need some experts who understand Soviet issues as consultants, I think I have the right person. I have an associate professor of political science at Stanford University. She has been interested in the Soviet Union since she was a college student at the University of Denver, so she has been doing research related to the Soviet Union for many years. She is a very good person. When I was studying at Stanford University and founded ONE and initiated the pig bank, she also gave me a lot of advice. If your reporters can continuously report back various news about the Soviet Union, I think she and her graduate students will be very willing to provide help. After all, this is equivalent to allowing them to be the first to know the news related to the Soviet Union."
"Really? Stanford alumni? That's great. Otherwise, I thought I would have to humble myself to Jim and hope that he could help us find a suitable candidate from National Review." Tommy was a little surprised when he heard Susan's words.
"Who is it? Tell me, I'll see if I've ever sat in on her class. Probably not, after all, I don't care about politics."
Susan looked at Tommy and said in a relaxed tone, "Ms. Condoleezza Rice is a black female professor with elegant conversation and lively lectures. We have a good relationship. I would send her greeting cards every holiday or anniversary. When I graduated, she happened to be promoted to associate professor. She even discussed with me and asked if I would like to be her first graduate student, focusing on the international relations of the Soviet Union."
When Tommy heard the name coming out of Susan's mouth, the smile on the corner of his mouth spread slowly like ripples, and finally spread across his entire face.
"You must have missed what Susan said. The other person is a black man, understand? So don't show that lewd 'I'm hard' smile." Jim saw Tommy's expression and said puzzledly.
Tommy ignored Jim's words and said to Susan seriously, "Susan, you know, when I think back to all my investments in the past few years, I find that the most successful case is investing in you."
"Because my words made you hard? " Susan didn't understand why Tommy smiled like that, so she imitated Jim's tone and asked with a smile.
Tommy didn't deny it: "I guess so."
Seeing that Benjamin didn't speak, Tommy looked at him and said, "Are you interested? Mr. Benson, I remember that you are of Jewish descent. I must talk to you in detail tonight. In addition to the fact that you are my entrepreneurial mentor and my SSD alumnus, another main reason is your identity, a Jew from Wall Street."
Benjamin stared at Tommy with his grey eyes for a long while before he smiled bitterly and said, "Tommy, you have a Plan B for yourself, but I don't."
"Yes, of course you didn't." Tommy nodded in understanding: "But I promise, I will never use Plan B."
"You have to give me enough decision-making power, enough." Benjamin exhaled forcefully and said to Tommy.
Tommy nodded seriously, "You can divide it up however you want."
"Let Jim and your people run through the basic mode in the early stage. If there is no problem, I will try my best to help you complete the binding symbiosis later." After Benjamin finished speaking, he paused for a moment and looked at Tommy again: "Are you sure you remember what I taught you, Tommy?"
"Every piece of gold that flows on Wall Street has a price tag, but it is deliberately hidden. He once told me to always remember the original purpose. If what I am doing now is not in line with the original idea, I should ask my heart and find my original intention." Tommy clenched his fist and gently tapped his chest:
“I’m pretty sure what I’m doing now is what I dreamed of.”
After listening to Tommy's words, Benjamin nodded and grinned bitterly: "Kid, your American dream seems to be different from that of normal young people."
"Of course. After all, I love this country more than they do. After work, I want to go home for a swim and go to bed early. After all, I still have to deal with my black friends tomorrow. Good night, everyone." Tommy stood up from his seat and smiled at the three of them. Then he looked towards Los Angeles at night and walked towards the stairs:
"Good night, America. When the sun rises again tomorrow, the black people in this country may begin to become a little different because of the existence of BTTV."
