Volume 4: The Sea and the Ship Heading North Chapter 237 The Tilted Tower

"Where are Hermione and Luna?"
Jon frowned when he saw only Neville and the other three.
Neville, who used Lee's Transfiguration to disguise himself as a sheep and entangled with those black cats in the pasture for half a day, was already exhausted and out of breath.
He and Jon continued running towards the first floor while speaking at the same time.
"Hermione...they both got separated from us! But they must be downstairs...the cats chased them downstairs."
His words did not reassure Jon, but instead gave him a bad feeling.
Without saying anything more, they continued to run downstairs. Neville and the others certainly had no way of using the levitation spell to fly, but fortunately there were only a few floors left.
This time, Jon didn't dare to fly ahead to let Neville and the others out of his sight to avoid any accidents. Instead, he quickly went to the first floor with them.
They did not see Hermione and the others on the way, and there was no response to their calls.
After seeing the empty and messy lobby on the first floor, everyone's faces turned grim.
Jon was the first to break the silence. The tower was shaking more and more violently. They could hardly stand and could fall to the ground at any time.
"You guys go out first, I'll find a way to find them. It's too dangerous here, something could go wrong at any time!"
Neville and the others all had expressions of shame on their faces. Without Jon by their side, they couldn't even protect two girls, which made them feel extremely humiliated.
But they had no objection to Jon's arrangement. The three of them knew very well that if they continued to stay here, not only would they not be able to provide any help to Jon, but would also bring him more trouble.
However, when Neville and the others reached out to push the door, the two doors did not move at all.
"The door won't open!" Ron yelled.
At this time, the chandelier on the ceiling was shaking, and small pieces of stone were falling from it. Spider-web-like cracks began to spread in all directions!
Jon gritted his teeth, suppressed the worry that was almost fearful in his heart, brushed past Ron and Neville, and slammed heavily into the door with his body still under the spell!
There was a loud "bang", as if something invisible was broken, and then the two doors were knocked open without any resistance!
The wet and salty sea breeze blew in their faces, and right in front of them was the huge Hogwarts.
The sea was no longer as calm as before. It seemed as if there was some terrifying monster stirring up the underwater world! The surging waves kept hitting the platform in front of the tower, and the white waves seemed to be spreading down right in front of Neville and the others!
George and his team, who were observing the situation of the tower on the boat at all times, noticed the unusual movements in the nearby sea at the beginning, so they set up the springboard in front of the tower early. When they saw the tower shaking violently and the door banged open, they waved excitedly to Jon and the others.
"Quick! Come up! This tower is going to collapse!"
Jon reached out and pushed Neville and the other three onto the springboard, but he turned around and prepared to return to the tower.
"Get back to the boat! Tell George to drive the boat far away immediately. We must get away from this tower!"
"You want to go back to find Hermione and the others?"
Jon said very seriously.
"I promised Professor Dumbledore that I would not leave this ship without a single person. If one person must be missing, it must be me."
Ron, Neville and Lee stood on the diving board, staring at Jon blankly.
However, just as the next wave suddenly surged up and exploded beside them, a sound that was obscured by the sea breeze and could only be heard faintly suddenly came from the sea in the distance!
"Here...we are here..."
Jon, who had already retreated to the door, suddenly stopped, his body floated up, and soon floated away.
On the other side of the tower, he saw Hermione holding onto Luna's arm in the waves, struggling desperately to swim towards Hogwarts!
A look of surprise appeared on his face, and he emphasized it to Neville one last time.
"Hurry back to the boat! I'll go save them!"
He flew up and quickly rushed towards , and soon he was above the two girls.
Luna didn't seem to be in a very good condition. Her face was pale and her eyes were tightly closed, but her breathing was obviously still fluctuating.
John used the magic power stored in the gem to increase the strength of the levitation spell cast on himself.
Then he held Hermione with one hand and the unconscious Luna with the other, and pulled them out of the turbulent sea.
Fortunately, the two girls were very light, so Jon didn't find it difficult to fly, and he soon brought them back to the Hogwarts .
George had been staring at John's movements. After seeing him land on the boat, he immediately swung the sledgehammer in his hand and knocked the wooden stick that was stuck on the side of the boat away with one hammer!
The side of the ship, which had been set on a predetermined course, began to turn on its own. The Hogwarts immediately deviated from its course, missing the tower that had clearly begun to tilt, and headed north.
Just when Jon put Hermione, Luna and the others down and took a breath, someone suddenly pointed in the direction of the top of the tower and exclaimed.
Under the dark night sky, a faint light flickered on the top of the tower. In front of the light, there was a figure as tiny as an ant, who threw something down from the tower.
The object fell rapidly, and Jon raised his wand in sync. When it was about to fall into the sea, he aimed it and used a levitation spell.
The next second, it was steadily suspended in the air not far from Jon. It was a stone slab, and a small part of the stone surface was flashing with the fluorescence of magic runes.
Jon reached out and took the slate. There was a note on it with beautiful English writing on it.
[This is what I promised to give you]
Jon looked at the stone slab in silence, then he raised his head and looked at the top of the tower, which was tilted at an angle of more than 30 degrees.
There was a figure, just standing there, waving in the direction they were sailing.
An inexplicable sadness rose in Jon's heart.
He knew that if he wanted, Sir Stoker could easily escape from the tower without even having to face his coercion and questioning, and Rabbi could take him anywhere he wanted to go.
But obviously, his choice at this moment is to rather die than leave this tower that carries his dreams and beliefs.
Below the dark clouds, above the waves.
Tobias Stock calmly watched the big ship gradually move away. His gaze shifted from the sea to the sky above his head and he spoke softly.
"You must be regretting following a master like me, Rabir."
Just like countless days and nights before, Rabil stood respectfully behind the old knight and shook his head.
"The Master is the greatest person in the world . Rabil will always be proud to be the Master's house-elf!"
