Volume 3 Winter Solstice Chapter 66 The Past

"Stop, Guan Nuo!" Jiang You shouted.
Guan Nuo didn't look back.
Tang Butian threw the wooden sword forward.
Sun Yu heard a series of beeping sounds.
Ten or so seconds later , the wooden sword flew back crookedly. Tang Butian reached out and grabbed the handle, and her body shook a little.
The wooden sword inserted into the ground to stabilize the body.
Sun Yu was shocked to find that the road ahead was blocked.
He looked around.
Everything around me became blurry and distorted.
Jiang You walked to Tang Butian and took out half a pack of tissues from his bag and handed it to her.
Tang Butian reached out to take it, pulled out a piece and wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth.
“This is the entrance,” she said.
"Did you figure it out?" Jiang You took a puff of cigarette and exhaled.
The smoke between the fingers rises up.
"When did you find out?" Tang Butian asked.
“When I get off the bus.”
Sun Yu listened to their conversation and asked, "Section Chief, Jiang Ge, what's going on now?"
Jiang You threw the cigarette butt forward, and the red spark drew an arc in the air. At the moment when it was about to land, a golden light flashed, and the cigarette butt disappeared.
"I'll explain it to you later," Jiang You looked at Tang Butian and asked, "What should we do now?"
"What did you see?"
"Not much."
"Can you leave?"
“It’s not that difficult.”
"I'll go find Guan Nuo, you take Sun Yu away first." Tang Butian assigned the tasks.
"If I take him out, it will be hard to go unnoticed. If you want to come out again..." Jiang You hesitated for a moment, "We must go out together. Here," he pointed to the street lamp, "the light is more stable. I'll bring Guan Nuo over. You wait here."
"I'm not good at protecting people."
"If we go in together..." Jiang You glanced at Sun Yu, whose body and expression were tense.
"I'll go find Guan Nuo." Tang Butian made the decision.
“You are now…”
"I'm sure."
Jiang You walked up to Tang Butian.
"Leave Sun Yu to me, don't worry." He lowered his head and said in her ear.
Tang Butian felt Jiang You stuffing something sticky into her palm.
"Did you deliberately provoke Guan Nuo?" Tang Butian said in a low and fast voice.
"Throw it out when you find him."
She heard his breathing.
Jiang You took a step back and put some distance between them.
Tang Butian turned around, straightened his back, held the wooden sword tightly in his right hand, and walked in the direction where Guan Nuo disappeared.
Sun Yu watched Tang Butian walk to the edge of the crack in the road. The figure twisted and then disappeared.
He turned around and saw Jiang You open the car door and sit in the driver's seat.
"Get in." Jiang You's voice came from the car window.
Sun Yu walked quickly to the other side of the car and sat in the passenger seat.
Jiang You took out a cigarette case and turned the opening towards Sun Yu.
"I don't smoke." Sun Yu shook his hand.
"Take one, and stay awake."
Sun Yu thought about it and took out a cigarette from the cigarette box.
Jiang You handed over the lighter.
Sun-woo took a drag on his cigarette.
He gradually calmed down and asked, "Was this caused by a ghost?"
Jiang You thought about the appearance of the black cat and stepped on the accelerator.
Guan Nuo chased the black cat.
The black cat squeezed through the gap in an iron railing door, glanced at Guan Nuo, and then ran into a building not far away.
Guan Nuo stopped.
He walked to the door, pushed it, and it opened.
Step in.
With a clang, the door closed automatically.
Guan Nuo turned his head.
Click.
The sound of a lock being locked.
Guan Nuo grabbed the railing with both hands and pushed the door hard, but it didn't move at all.
The wind blew on his body, drying the sweat on his back.
He shuddered.
A chill ran up along his tailbone.
It's cold and numb.
He turned around and looked up at the L-shaped four-story building standing not far away.
"Wenhui Building..." Guan Nuo tried hard to make out the words on the sign outside.
The light in a room on the third floor came on.
Guan Nuo took out his cell phone.
7:56.
No signal.
He used time to tell the fortune, but when he tried to calculate it carefully, he felt confused.
It was as if there was an invisible force stopping him.
He put his phone in his pocket.
The lights in the room flickered.
Guan Nuo took a step forward hesitantly. He saw the shadow of a black cat passing by the window.
He gritted his teeth, rushed into the stairwell and went upstairs.
When he reached the third floor, he saw a piece of paper stuck on the wall. It was wrinkled and the words were all faded. He could only barely make out that it was a notice.
Guan Nuo turned a corner and walked into the corridor.
Very dark.
Empty.
Footsteps.
Breathing sound.
Heartbeat.
Light spilled through the crack at the bottom of the door.
Guan Nuo reached out and grabbed the door handle. The handle was very cold, as if it had been frozen in a freezer.
Rotate.
He opened the door.
It's a classroom.
He walked in.
There were some formulas written on the blackboard. He turned around and saw a little boy of about eleven or twelve years old sitting in the corner of the last row of the classroom, holding a pen in his hand and writing something with his head down.
Guan Nuo walked over.
The little boy holds the pen in a strange way.
"Excuse me, where is this place?" Guan Nuo asked.
The little boy looked up.
Guan Nuo met a pair of empty eyes.
The black cat jumped onto the podium, and its golden eyes looked at Guan Nuo quietly.
The car body jolted.
“God said, ‘Let there be light.’ It does not mean that God created light, but that God set the rules for light.”
Jiang You looked at the black birds that kept hitting the car windows. They flapped their wings, pecked at the windows with their beaks, and scratched them with their claws.
"Brother Jiang, the window is about to break..." Sun Yu said, looking at the cracks on the window.
Jiang You took out another cigarette and lit it. "It's not about creating a world, but..."
The car turned a corner.
"It's just that we live within rules. Our retinas receive some raw information, which is then filtered and calculated and abstracted..."
"There is no road ahead!" Sun Yu shouted.
"Isn't this just right?"
The car rushed into the dense forest at high speed, and the birds fell to the ground one by one due to the friction between the car body and the branches.
"The so-called clairvoyance is nothing more than the visual system retaining the ability to process some special information. It's a throwback to our ancestors. I still want to have a laser surgery..."
Sun Yu heard some rustling sounds.
"This way, the world I see every day when I open my eyes will be clear."
Jiang You rolled down the car window and flicked off the ash.
"Outside the rules, there are some floating fragments, remnants of the law of extinction and the like. I have always wanted to get a piece of it to play with. That black cat..."
Mars falls to the ground.
A fire dragon ignited on the ground.
Black-shelled insects with flames crawled up the car windows.
"No wonder it was able to escape," Jiang You turned to look at Sun Yu, "Don't be afraid, these are all special effects. There are no trees, no fire, no birds flying all over the sky, no strange insects everywhere, and even the car is not moving. What you see is just your brain using common sense to try to explain everything that happened in this space."
"Actually I only did one thing," Jiang You said.
"What's up?"
Jiang You looked into the distance, "I smoked a cigarette with you in the car and chatted for a while," he paused, "to show my presence."
The black cat jumped off the podium.
It walked behind .
