Daozu nodded and said, "The immortal way is both the way and not the way. The immortal way is the way, it is the way of all living things; the immortal way is not the way, it is not the only way.
The way to immortality is to refine Qi, so there is a saying in the mortal realm: refining essence into Qi, refining Qi into spirit, refining spirit into emptiness, and refining emptiness into the Tao.
From these four levels, one can enter the fairyland. There are eight fairylands, namely: earthly immortal, celestial immortal, mysterious immortal, Taiyi Xuan immortal, golden immortal, Taiyi golden immortal, Daluo golden immortal, and Hunyuan Wuji Daluo golden immortal !
I have a saying: After thirty-three steps of Daluo's ascension to heaven, the other side of the Tao is Hunyuan.
Daluo is the beginning of the Tao, and also the end of the Tao. The other shore is far away, so I have created a unique realm between Daluo and Hunyuan to settle down, and named it: Quasi-Sage. "
"How does it compare to the past?"
"Quasi-saints, simplify the complex, condense the thirty-three layers of the sky into the Dao level, and divide the path of Hunyuan into four steps.
The first step: ascend to the tenth level of Daluo, the initial stage of Quasi-Sage;
The second step: ascend to the twentieth level of Daluo Heaven, and enter the middle stage of Quasi-Sage;
The third step: ascend to the 30th level of Daluo, which is the late stage of Quasi-Sage.
Step 4: Ascend the thirty-third level of Daluo Heaven, reach the other side, and achieve Hunyuan!"
When the Taoists heard this, they nodded in understanding.

This quasi-saint's way is similar to the previous titles.
In the past, the first to ninth levels of Daluo were called great powers; the tenth to twenty-ninth levels were called the great powers of heaven and earth; the thirtieth to thirty-third levels were called the supreme great powers.
This is because the gap between Daluo, who has crossed the tenth heaven, and the previous ones is like the difference between heaven and earth.
When one reaches the 30th heaven, he is already very close to Hun Yuan, and hence is given the word “the top”.
The division of Daozu is to directly split Daluo into three parts: entering the Tao, building the Tao, and achieving the Tao.
Entering the Tao is Daluo, building the Tao is Quasi-Sage, and achieving the Tao is Hunyuan.
When Taoist Qingwei finished asking questions, everyone still wanted to ask more questions, but Hongjun waved his hand and said, "I hold the sacred instrument of enlightenment. In addition to saving all three thousand mortals, I also need to pass down the lineage of Taoism to inherit the Taoist tradition!"
Everyone was shocked, and many of them immediately looked eagerly at Daozu Hongjun who was sitting firmly on the high platform.
This is obviously an attempt to recruit a disciple!

Hongjun looked at Zhunti and Jieyin again, "Zunti, Jieyin, you two have great perseverance, great wisdom, and great compassion. You have made great contributions to the immortal way, the way of heaven, and the great world. Are you willing to become my disciples and inherit my Taoist tradition?"

Not everyone can inherit the Taoist tradition of the Taoist Ancestor. Look at the first six, which one is easy?
The Three Pure Ones, haven’t you heard what the Taoist Ancestor said? They are descendants of Pangu’s original spirit, so their status is there, and their cultivation is more abnormal than each other.

Add to that the three tribes' felling of the mountain, the starry sky formation, the later disaster with the Warcraft, the protection of all living beings, etc., the merits of one person are equal to those of a group of people.
Look at the two brothers Jieyin and Zhunti. They seem to be quiet, but as creatures from the West, the whole West is gone, but they are still alive and well.
You taste it, you taste it carefully.
Everyone knows that the West is the base camp of the devil. To be able to come out of the base camp of the devil and live so freely, the things behind it are terrifying when you think about it carefully.
Moreover, these two are really hardworking. The Western land has become a scorched earth, but these two have taken on the task of restoring the West without saying a word. If it were any other person present, who would dare to guarantee to take on such a heavy burden?
Do you really think that restoring the West is just lip service?
A thought is the cause, and the action is the result. This matter contains a huge cause and effect!
Otherwise, why do you think the Taoist said that they were people with great perseverance, great wisdom, and great merits?
There is no fool who can go to Zixiao Palace to listen to the teachings.
Therefore, as soon as Daozu accepted these six people, everyone figured out the reason. At most, because of the amount of information they knew, they could not know all the things inside.
Then Daozu spoke again: "Since I have passed down the Dao lineage to inherit the Dao tradition, I must have a treasure to protect the Dao.
Laozi, this is the Tai Chi diagram, which can determine the earth, fire, water and wind. I will give it to you!"
Laozi stepped forward, bowed, took it, and put it into his sleeve.
"Yuanshi, this is Pangu Banner, which can divide the heaven and earth and give you protection."
Yuanshi stepped forward, took it and put it into his sleeve.
" Tongtian, I give you these four swords of Zhuxian and the formation diagram. When you become a saint, no one but the four saints can break them!"
Tongtian took the four swords and one map.
"Nuwa, this Qiankun Ding is given to you. It can turn the acquired into the innate. I hope you will use it well!
I also give you this red hydrangea."

To return the acquired to the innate is too against the will of heaven!

"Jie Yin, I will give you the six pure bamboos and the blue lotus flag, which can purify the ten directions and protect your body."
"Zhunti, I will grant you the 12-level golden lotus and the divine pestle, which can suppress your luck and will not be affected by any magic or damaged by any treasure!"
