Volume 2: Knocking on Heaven's Door Chapter 64 Farce
Lawyer Andy Nelson was right when he said that Americans just like to watch teenage comedy stories, so when "Caribbean Quest" was launched on the Nickelodeon children's channel at 8 o'clock in the prime time, it was immediately sought after by a large number of viewers.
One day's shooting footage was cut into only forty minutes of running time, which made the jokes more dense.
Dennis, who led a large number of police officers to hunt wild boars in his own modified uniform, Catherine, who got emotional at every turn and tried to lead the army to flatten London, and Frank, the prison warden with a ferocious face who tried to threaten the hapless prisoners to do his laundry, easily made the audience remember them.
But the most eye-catching character in the first episode is Industry Secretary Pam Marvell.
St. Vincent has a small hydroelectric power station built during the British colonial period. It uses a turbine to drive a generator to generate electricity. When the water volume is at its highest, it can generate 120 degrees of electricity per hour. Although this number sounds low, because St. Vincent does not have too many electrical equipment, and most citizens still use old-fashioned oil lamps for lighting in their homes, it can fully meet the country's electricity needs. After all, the main electricity is supplied to government buildings, schools, hospitals and a few commercial facilities.
However, the two circuit breakers at the hydropower station were old and damaged, causing the power to trip. The circuit breakers were somewhat outdated and needed to be purchased from the United States or the United Kingdom, which took time to transport back and forth. This meant that before the circuit breakers were replaced, the entire country of St. Vincent would be in a power outage, except for the sugar factory with a separate power supply group.
This made American high school students very uncomfortable, and the cabinet held consecutive meetings to discuss how to persuade the sugar mills and what preferential conditions to offer so that the sugar mills with independent power generation equipment could help with electricity support.
Then American audiences saw that while the cabinet children were discussing, Industry Secretary Pam Marvell walked out of the government building, packed up her tools, and went straight to the sugar factory with a few helpers.
Soon, Pam secretly led a hidden and camouflaged line from the sugar factory's power plant back to Kingston, restoring air conditioning to the government building.
But the good times did not last long. The lines laid in the morning were discovered in the afternoon by the father of the sugar factory engineer and Pam's girlfriend Carly. Then he followed the lines and brought a group of workers to the door. On behalf of the sugar factory, he severely reprimanded the Minister of Industry Pam for stealing electricity, saying that this behavior was both wrong and very unsafe .
The high school student cabinet was very dissatisfied with being scolded by the adults, and they were ready to teach the sugar factory a lesson.
"We will look for any tax problems they may have. If we find any, we will impose heavy fines on them and use the fines to buy new power plants." This was the last sentence of the first episode. Interior Minister David Schaeffer said fiercely to the camera: "Let those arrogant adults understand that they are talking to the managers of this country, and they must learn to respect this word."
Behind him were the assembled members of the Revenue Minister's army, the police led by Dennis, and Frank and his so-called special forces.
Although the tone of those words was fierce, when paired with David Shaffer's fat face and round-frame glasses, the only thing left was a sense of humor that made the audience laugh.
…
St Vincent, Kingston.
As the camera recorded, Tax Minister Chris and his men, trying hard to keep a serious expression, walked into the gate of the Bolton Sugar Factory.
When the managers of the sugar factory heard that the high school students in front of them were tax officials who came to investigate their tax problems, they laughed so hard that they couldn't straighten their backs. They took out ice cream that the children of their country had never seen before to treat the high school students, and asked them the reason for the tax inspection.
When they learned that the other party was going to use tax inspections to teach the sugar factory a lesson just because their own engineers had exposed their electricity theft, the managers said with a smile that they could guarantee to turn a blind eye to the cabinet's subsequent electricity theft in exchange for forgiveness.
But Chris was obviously not prepared to be bribed by a few ice creams offered by the other party, and insisted on launching a tax investigation.
After the initial appeasement, the managers became a little impatient and asked the sugar factory security personnel to take the high school students out and told them that this was an American company and was subject to American law.
Seeing the tall white security guards approaching one by one, Chris put his cowboy hat back on and slowly stood up: "Can I understand that you refuse to cooperate with the investigation?"
"That's right, kid, you can think whatever you like, but you . This is an American factory, not a playground for local idiots to go crazy with you." The manager said nonchalantly while sitting on the sofa.
Chris looked at one of his men. The high school student walked out of the office building and stood outside the gate of the sugar factory, shouting: "They refuse to cooperate with the investigation! We need help!"
"Let Police Chief Dennis teach you what will happen if you refuse to cooperate with the investigation! Drive those 17 wild boars inside!" Dennis shouted from a Jeep.
Behind him, dozens of policemen carried a dozen wooden cages to the gate of the sugar factory. Dennis jumped out of the car and walked over to open the cages containing wild boars himself!
Seventeen wild boars were startled by the car horn and rushed into the sugar factory!
The molasses jar was smashed by the wild boar's tusks, and the wild boar jumped into the filter pool to take a bath. With the influx of seventeen wild boars, the entire sugar factory suddenly became chaotic!
"Shit! You have caused big trouble for your parents! Kick them out!" The white administrator saw this scene, glared at Chris and gave an order to the security guard, then left quickly and arranged for workers to drive away the wild boars that were fleeing everywhere!
Seeing that the security guards were all going to catch wild boars, Dennis looked at Kevin and Frank behind him and said, "The foreplay is done, now it's up to you guys."
Both wrestlers were wearing sportswear today. After hearing Dennis's words, they walked into the factory and ran towards the office building.
The tall white security guard reached out and pushed Chris: "Get out of the factory! Boy! Don't force me..."
"Hey! Big guy!" Kevin's voice sounded behind the security guard.
The security guard turned around, and Kevin had his hands on his waist, and suddenly exerted force, throwing the security guard out!
"Leave this to me." Kevin succeeded in his move and signaled Frank to take Chris and others away, while he looked at the security guard who staggered to his feet again.
Chris walked out of the reception room with several of his men and went straight to the tax accounting office of the sugar factory.
"Chris, the Minister of Taxation of St. Vincent, I suspect you of tax evasion. Hand over all your tax information!" Pushing open the door of the office, Chris said to the two white people inside.
The two white guys were a little confused, but when they saw that it was a group of high school students, they laughed: "Didn't your mother teach you to knock on the door when visiting someone's room, kids?"
"Sorry, I came to the summer camp because I don't want to listen to my mom anymore." Frank walked in first, followed by two dull thuds of heavy objects falling and groans.
"Let's get started." Chris led his trainees into the office, opened the filing cabinet, and quickly searched through it: "Take away all the account books you find."
