Emergency Notice from the Emergency Command Center for Metal Mutation Incidents
Dear citizens of the capital,
In response to the recent incidents of metal mutant attacks with unknown mechanisms that seriously threaten people's lives and property, in order to ensure the safety and health of the general public, our city has now urgently established an emergency command center for metal mutant emergencies, activated the emergency plan, and made every effort to organize rescue work. First of all, we sincerely thank the organizations and people at all levels for their close cooperation with us during the recent emergency response , and pay high tribute to your brave and fearless spirit.
The damage caused by metal anomalies is complex and multifaceted. Understanding its mechanism of action is a necessary condition for rescuing and protecting life and property. The potential hazards of metal anomalies that have been identified and speculated are:
1. Thermal effect hazards: The energy released by metal anomalies may cause local temperature rise, leading to diseases and symptoms such as heat stroke and syncope. In severe cases, it may ignite surrounding combustible materials and cause fires, especially in environments full of flammable materials. In the case of heat accumulation, the temperature is very likely to rise, and may even cause serious accidents such as explosions. It is currently impossible to determine the upper limit of the temperature it can reach.
2. Electromagnetic field hazards: The strong electromagnetic field surrounding metal life forms can cause serious damage to human tissue cells and produce biological effects on the human body, leading to discomfort symptoms such as fatigue, insomnia, depression, and in severe cases, death. In addition, the electromagnetic field generated by metal mutants may also cause chemical reactions in surrounding substances, causing unpredictable catastrophic effects.
3. Damage to electrical and electronic facilities and equipment: Metal mutations may cause power system failures, because the mutations may damage equipment or power lines, and power cannot be transmitted normally. The electromagnetic waves generated by metal mutations will interfere with surrounding electronic equipment, including but not limited to televisions, computers, and communication equipment, which may cause equipment crashes, data loss, communication interruptions, and other problems. The pattern of communication interruptions is still under investigation.
4. Ionizing radiation: Strong ionizing radiation such as high-energy electrons, X-rays and gamma rays released by metal organisms can have serious impacts on the surrounding humans, animals, plants and the environment. It can damage cells and tissues, leading to genetic mutations, cancer, reproductive system abnormalities and other hazards. In severe cases, it can lead to mass deaths.
5. Building damage: Mutations can cause abnormal reactions in metals, thus endangering the structural safety of buildings. Steel structures with more metal structures, such as stadiums, factories, glass skyscrapers, etc., are more sensitive to metal mutations and are more easily damaged, so they are much more threatened than other buildings. Various buildings in the area near metal mutations may even collapse due to direct impact.
In order to protect the safety of citizens and rescue survivors as soon as possible, the command has organized military and police forces and professional rescue teams to conduct as comprehensive search and rescue operations as possible. At the same time, we call on the general public to remain calm and obey the command.
Citizens are requested to strictly observe the following precautions:
1. Citizens in the danger zone should avoid contact with any metal objects, including watches, computers, televisions, metal door handles, handrails, elevator buttons, etc. Mobile phones can be used temporarily to receive announcements and notifications in a timely manner, but they must be placed in non-metallic containers such as polyethylene bags when in use. In particular, it is necessary to avoid contact with large areas of metal surfaces, such as vehicles, machinery, metal buildings, bridges, tower cranes, etc., to avoid being harmed and attacked by mutated metal.
Do not stay inside any steel structure building!
2. Citizens in the danger zone should evacuate immediately. When evacuating, please strictly follow the instructions and arrangements of the relevant departments and the military and police, and leave quickly and orderly. Pay special attention to avoid passing through areas with concentrated metals, such as stadiums, skyscrapers, factories, subway stations, railway stations, overpasses, etc., to prevent metal mutations from causing unknown serious threats to life safety. When evacuating, do not use cars, bicycles, electric vehicles, motorcycles and other means of transportation made of metal, and also avoid structures that are easily deformed and broken, such as bridges, viaducts and rails.
3. Citizens in the danger zone and buffer zone should avoid eating food stored in metal containers, such as canned food, canned drinks, etc., and should stop using any metal tableware. When preparing food, you can choose to use non-metal products such as plastic and ceramics. If emergency evacuation is required, try not to take food with you, and temporarily stop wearing accessories, jewelry and clothing containing metal components. If you must carry food, you should choose well-packaged bagged food.
4. In any area, if you find any abnormality in metal devices, equipment, clothing or facilities, please call the emergency number 110 immediately, or seek help from the nearby military police. If conditions permit, please try to observe and record the specific situation of the mutated metal from a safe distance so that the relevant departments can deal with it in a timely and effective manner. While waiting, you should follow the instructions of the relevant departments, actively cooperate with their work, and pay attention to maintaining your own safety. Do not get too close to the mutated metal to stay away from the threat of invisible hazards such as electromagnetic fields and thermal radiation.
5. Before evacuating, citizens in the danger zone should stay indoors without any steel structure, such as wooden, masonry and other buildings, and close doors and windows with non-metallic objects, such as bricks, sand and stones, to ensure safety. If ventilation is required, please avoid using metal products, such as metal window frames, etc. If there are metal objects indoors, keep a distance and move them outside as much as possible. If they cannot be moved out, cover or isolate the metal objects. Citizens outside the danger zone should stop using indoor electrical equipment immediately if they have abnormalities, such as frequent failures, overheating, etc., and contact the relevant departments.
