Without benevolence, how can we talk about love? Our Celestial Empire has the Three Cardinal Guides and Five Constant Virtues, but Western countries are the only ones that don't have rulers, ministers, fathers, sons, and husbands and wives? Chinese and Western learning have something in common. Confucius said: learn and practice it from time to time. So our sage Confucius traveled around the countries and studied with Laozi.
