Volume 1 2009 Chapter 92: Advertisement Follow-up and Random Thoughts
After finishing up the MV shooting for F(X), Yi Haoyan went back to staying at home.
Not long after, LG's Chocolate series mobile phone advertisement was finally aired.
The TV station broadcast two versions, a 15-second version by Girls' Generation and a 30-second version by F(X). The website has the full version of both MVs and the making of footage.
Yi Haoyan watched them all with great interest.
I have to say that the edited highlights broadcast by the TV station are really infectious.
In the MV of Girls' Generation, nine beauties danced in unison with subtle and charming steps. The most impressive one was the swing of the waist, and the left and right hands alternately rubbed the sides of the face up and down, similar to the action of a cat rubbing its face, which was repeated many times. With the light rhythm of the music, it produced an addictive effect and a full brainwashing effect.
The close-up clips of the members and their phones in the ad are also very beautiful. One of the close-up clips shows Jessica lying on a smooth tabletop, curiously looking at a standing phone.
The girl's dark blond hair is tied up on top of her head with a black hairpin, leaving only the bangs in front of her forehead and the hair on both sides hanging down to cover her ears. The hairstyle highlights her delicate face and clear jawline, especially the star stickers on the outer corners of her eyes, which makes the girl look cute and charming.
The black off-shoulder princess dress reveals her slender neck and collarbone, and with her smooth left arm resting under her chin, she looks elegant and seductive.
The most fascinating thing is the girl's expression. Jessica didn't look at the camera, her eyes were fixed on the mobile phone which was less than 10cm away from her on the table, her thin lips slightly opened, as if she was full of curiosity about this strange thing.
I have long thought that this sister is a cat-like beauty, and now I see that it is indeed the case.
Her expression and the posture she was lying on were like a proud Persian cat that had suddenly discovered something that interested it but was unfamiliar to it, and was approaching it curiously and cautiously, as if she would fiddle with it with her little paws in the next second.
A static picture can convey a dynamic effect, as well as the undisguised tsundere temperament. I don’t know if it’s because it was shot too well or I imagined too much. Anyway, it’s a very successful advertisement.
The editing of the two films is also very clever.
The end of the Girls' Generation ad was the classic scene of F(X) Victoria and Krystal blending ice and fire, which just led to the next F(X) ad. The F(X) ad ended with Yoona's surprised face, which echoed the previous part, forming an infinite loop effect, vividly combining the two completely different styles of ads into a whole.
It’s indeed a very clever idea.
The Girls' Generation part is perfect, but the F(X) part is hard to say.
Yi Haoyan smiled bitterly. He didn’t know he would get angry, but he couldn’t escape being scolded.
The advertisements for the F(X) section basically fully express the original intention of the design, and are in stark contrast to the Girls' Generation style.
Whether it is the costumes, music, stage settings or dance steps, they all form a strong contrast. This goal was achieved, but the aesthetics of the picture is hard to say. Except for Victoria, the other members are still relatively immature, and this style is not suitable for them. Shirley's picture is simply horrible in Yi Haoyan's opinion.
After watching the whole segment, only the close-up of Victoria's buttocks, the cross-wave exchange between Victoria and Krystal, and the final scene of the two people blending ice and fire are acceptable. The rest are simply a disaster.
Looking at the comments on the website, there is overwhelming praise for Girls' Generation, while there is mixed praise and criticism for F(X), with most people saying that the underage girls are going for a sexy style. SM has achieved its goal, but it may have been hard on the F(X) kids.
After seeing the finished product, Yi Haoyan sent messages to Jessica and Victoria respectively, congratulating them on the success of the advertisement and reminding Victoria to pay attention to the status of other members. After all, South Korea’s keyboard warriors are well-known for their fighting power.
It didn't take long for a reply to come in. Jessica was fine. Victoria Song replied that Sulli cried again after seeing the finished product. It seemed that she was frightened by herself on the screen.
"It's okay, the child is still young, he will get used to it after crying a few times. Artists have to go through this stage!"
Yi Haoyan replied casually, completely ignoring the fact that he was actually the same age as Shirley and younger than her. Perhaps he was too rational and had already ignored his age.
…
As autumn passes, Seoul gradually enters winter.
I have to say that the winter here is still very cold. The daytime temperature is generally around 0-10 degrees below zero, and you can't go out without wrapping yourself up tightly. Only some indoor venues have heating, just like the indoor shooting location before, so a group of people can wear shorts and shorts without any problem.
Yi Haoyan was afraid of the cold, and the biting cold wind outside effectively stopped him from going out. Of course, except to pick up Pei Zhuxuan from get off work.
It’s strange to say, the two have only known each other for a few months, which is not a long time, but they are as close as real siblings.
After coming to Korea, besides my aunt's family, the people I am closest to are Bae Joo-hyun and Rabbit.
Yi Haoyan doesn’t have many friends, which is related to his personality. In one word, he doesn’t like to play with other children.
Compared to his peers, the boy matured too early and his thinking was very rational. However, his overly rational way of thinking suppressed his emotional cognition, causing him to appear emotionally indifferent, which made him difficult to approach in the eyes of others. While his peers were fanatically chasing stars, Yi Haoyan was already deconstructing the entire star-making industry. How could they have common topics?
The change happened after he came to South Korea for treatment. Professor Jin guided Yi Haoyan to release his repressed emotional thinking and follow his own feelings and heart in his dealings with others.
Then he met Bae Joo-hyun and Rabbit.
What was it like to get along with Sister Zhu Xuan? The boy lay on the sofa and carefully recalled the details of their past interactions.
"Hmm~ She's very gentle, not as strong as Sister Eun-hee. She's always very considerate and patient. I feel safe when I'm with her. She's warm and soft, and she feels like a mother."
Yi Haoyan thought about it and suddenly laughed: "If she knew that I described her as my mother, she would probably be angry again. This sister is very concerned about age, haha!"
Yi Haoyan really enjoys living with . There are three people in the family. Sister Eun-hee is the eldest lady who has never done housework. He and Bae Joo-hyun are responsible for the daily cleaning and tidying up of the house.
And she seems to like doing these housework. Although her cooking skills are average, she is very good at handling ingredients and likes to do these things. She usually cooperates well with boys and is a girl with a strong sense of home. The house that Sister Enxi rented has a warm home feeling to a large extent because of her presence.
Bae Joo-hyun makes people feel dependent on her unconsciously, just like a silent stream. It seems to be silent and invisible, but in fact it has crossed the mountains and forests and grasslands and quietly flowed into one's heart.
