Volume 1 2009 Chapter 18: First time going out alone

The future residence was decided in just one meal, and all the objections from Yi Haoyan and Bae Zhuxuan were easily rejected by Son Eunxi.
Yi Haoyan is an ignorant boy who has just arrived and is unfamiliar with the place, and Bae Joo-hyun is an ignorant girl who has no relatives or friends to rely on. The two young seedlings can only tremble in front of the "local snake" sister who is familiar with the place and acts decisively .
That evening, Sun Enxi informed her parents of the moving plan. Her aunt seemed to have anticipated this day and approved it after asking a few simple questions.
Thus, Sun Enxi's plan to escape forced marriage had a good start. All that was left was to pack her luggage and find a house. Miss Sun happily threw herself into the house selection with a relaxed mood.
The downside of living under someone else's roof is that you have no control over many things, but fortunately Yi Haoyan is also a casual person. If his cousin asks him to move out, then he can move out! It's nothing more than moving house, and living without the elders will be less restrictive.
Having been in Korea for a while, Yi Haoyan's Korean has improved a lot and he has no problem handling daily conversations.
During the second psychological consultation, in order to further understand the root cause of Yi Haoyan's depression, Professor Jin asked and understood Yi Haoyan's growth process and family environment in detail.
There are currently two mainstream views on the causes of depression. One is congenital heredity; the other is acquired experience, especially childhood experience.
Depression is a physiological disease. In addition to congenital genetic defects, long-term unhealthy mental state and cognitive patterns can also easily lead to the onset of depression .
In addition to genetic factors, a person's way of thinking and personality traits are also formed during childhood. The experiences during this period will affect a person's cognition and way of thinking, and this influence will last a lifetime. It takes a lot of effort to change it.
For this reason, Yi Haoyan described his family and growth experience from childhood to adulthood to Professor Jin in detail, and Sister Enxi helped translate and supplement.

There were no patients with depression in his direct or collateral relatives, which almost ruled out the possibility of congenital inheritance. In Yi Haoyan's memory, his family was warm and happy. Apart from that misfortune, there was almost nothing that could be considered abnormal.
For a while, the consultation encountered difficulties.
Professor Jin is an experienced expert after all. He began to try to start with Yi Haoyan's personality and finally found some clues. Haoyan remembered his admiration for his father and brother's personalities and his disgust for his own personality. Professor Jin believes that it may be this long-term disapproval of himself that led to the formation of an introverted aggressive cognitive style.
Simply put, no matter what difficulties, pain, misfortune, or just bad luck Yi Haoyan encountered, he would probably attribute it to himself, thinking that these bad things or experiences were his fault, because of his bad character and lack of ability. On the contrary, if good things happened, he would not attribute it to himself. He would think that it was just good luck or because of others.
In this cognitive mode, the negative energy of the mind will increase, and the positive energy will decrease, eventually leading to depression. People who are depressed consume their energy every day in the internal friction caused by bad cognition, so they are easy to feel tired even if they do nothing.
Based on this judgment, Professor Jin felt that Yi Haoyan may have suffered from depression before the misfortune, but because of his particularly strong rational thinking, he controlled the deterioration of his condition and just seemed a little unsociable. It was not until he encountered a car accident and suffered a major blow that his rationality collapsed, leading to a complete onset of the disease.
After clarifying this point, Professor Jin encouraged Haoyan to try to accept and recognize himself first, and not to blame himself frequently. He should not restrict himself too much in behavior, but should express his inner feelings more often to release the negative energy accumulated in his subconscious for many years.
This consultation also included an intention dialogue. Yi Haoyan still saw scary bugs and huge eyes, but it was not as serious as the first time. Professor Jin said that this was the effect of releasing subconscious emotions, and if he kept doing it, things would get better and better.
After this consultation, Sister Enxi no longer required Yi Haoyan to stay in the company every day, and encouraged him to go out when he was free.
After finishing his company chores that morning, Yi Haoyan took his camera out to take photos. He just wanted to get familiar with the environment here. After all, he hadn't been shopping since Sister Enxi took him to buy clothes .
Although he is not a professional photographer, Yi Haoyan has his own understanding of photography. The same thing, with different lighting, angles and compositions, will give viewers completely different feelings. How to shoot is conceived and executed by the photographer himself. How the photographer sees the world will determine what kind of effect his lens will produce. Therefore, Yi Haoyan believes that photography is a way to express inner feelings, and he hopes to help release his inner feelings through this way.
Apgujeong is a famous shopping district in Korea, mainly selling high-end consumer goods, most of which are imported brands from Europe, America and Japan, and has become an indicator of Korean fashion trends. Rodeo Street is the concentration of famous brand stores in Apgujeong. In addition to famous brand stores, there are also many coffee shops, restaurants with specialties from various countries, and many beauty shops. This area is also the concentration of cinemas and cultural performances.
Yi Haoyan walked on the street, constantly using his camera to record this prosperous and exquisite street, which was filled with the atmosphere of youth and fashion.
It is not entirely correct to call it a small street. Compared with the wide streets in China, the road surface here is relatively narrow. Shops are stacked on both sides of the road, and colorful neon signs in various fonts are crisscrossed. In this area where every inch of land is valuable, the space is utilized to the extreme, and all kinds of shops are developing freely in the space and opening their doors to customers.
Walking and taking photos along the way, it is summer vacation now, the time for students to let go and enjoy themselves. From time to time, groups of young boys and girls in youthful clothes pass by on the street, they play and chat as if no one is around, enjoying the carefree vacation time, which is in sharp contrast to Yi Haoyan's lonely figure.
Sighing slightly, Yi Haoyan, who is also a teenager but alone, tried to shake off the feeling of loss and loneliness lingering in his heart. He came to Korea suddenly and did not have the chance to say goodbye to his friends who he often contacted in China. Besides his cousin and Bae Joo-hyun, he did not meet many people of his age here. Even for someone who has been accustomed to being alone since childhood, he felt a bit of envy and yearning in such a lively occasion.
Just as I was feeling sad, a timid voice suddenly came from behind me: "Hi, hello, can you take some photos for me?"
Without thinking too much, Yi Haoyan turned around subconsciously.
A pretty figure stood in front of him, with long black hair, an oval face, fair skin, a white long-sleeved chiffon shirt, a black short skirt, a pair of pink low-top canvas shoes, and a black bag across her body. Dressed in standard student casual clothes, the owner of this outfit was standing in front of Yi Haoyan in embarrassment, anxiously waiting for a reply.
