The Real Hogwarts Chapter 70 Never
The first dinner at Hogwarts Castle ended in such a simple way .
The Mudbloods returned to their lounge. Although the dormitory was also located in the basement, it was dark, damp and cold, but it was not so bad that everyone had to sleep on a big bunk bed together.
Even every Mudblood has an independent dormitory, but the conditions in the dormitory are very poor, with musty bedding, no windows, and only a tattered wooden door for entering and exiting. The space is also very small, and there is not even enough space for a desk besides a bed.
Combined with what he heard from Draco in Diagon Alley, and the fact that the students were basically afraid to communicate with each other just now, it seems that the purpose of dividing the dormitories into separate rooms is probably to avoid excessive communication between the Mudblood students.
Last year, it was discovered that the Mudbloods were secretly forming a gang in this castle, which made the managers wary.
A group of slaves who had not yet been tamed gathered together, and no matter what they discussed, their "master" did not want to see it.
However, this separate dormitory gave Jon a lot of convenience. In order to maintain the effect of the transformation, he needed to drink Polyjuice Potion every 12 hours. One or two times was okay, but if he did it every day and had roommates around, they would definitely notice a problem.
Later, he would need a secret space to brew the Polyjuice Potion. However, even if this was an independent dormitory , it was obviously not a safe place. Not only was it close to other students' dormitories, but the smell emitted when brewing the potion was easily noticed. Moreover, Mudbloods had no privacy in this castle. He never knew when someone would rush into his room to search it.
But in the Hogwarts Castle, especially since Jon had read the original book, it was not difficult for him to find a private space. The only thing he had to worry about was whether that place was exposed in this world.
The night passed quietly.
The next morning, Jon's biological clock, which he had developed over the past month, woke him up early.
In addition to normal classes, the Mudbloods have a lot of work to do in this castle, such as cleaning all the public bathrooms in the castle, the Quidditch field outside the castle, the owl shed, and some unused greenhouses for herbology classes.
Their work basically avoids places that come into contact with pure-blood and half-blood students. Places like pure-blood and half-blood students' dormitories, libraries, auditoriums, classrooms, and professors' offices are all cleaned by house-elves.
Their job on the morning of the first day of school was to clean the public bathrooms in the castle that had been basically idle for two months.
Two male and female prefects were also assigned to the Mudblood students. They were among the students who received sandwiches as rewards last night. They had obviously accepted their identities as "slaves" from the bottom of their hearts and became part of maintaining the bloodline class.
The two prefects assigned work on different floors to the Mudblood students of each grade. The Hogwarts Castle restricted the movement areas of the Mudblood students. Except for the designated areas and the places they were required to clean, they were not allowed to enter other areas. Once discovered, being hung up and whipped would be the lightest punishment.
The area where the second-year students were assigned was on the eighth floor, which happened to be where Jon planned to observe after entering the castle.
It was still very early, and except for the house-elves who were busy preparing breakfast in the kitchen and the mudbloods who were getting ready to start working, most of the students and teachers were still asleep.
After receiving the cleaning tools, Jon and several other students moved very carefully and without making any loud noise and went to the eighth floor .
At the corner next to the stairs, a few steps forward, there is a tapestry related to trolls, and opposite the tapestry is a blank wall.
As he passed by here, Jon just glanced at the blank wall without pausing for a moment, and there was no change in his expression.
This wall is not specially marked, which means that this place is not fully open to the public and not every student in the castle knows about it.
"Remember, we can only go as far as the bathroom. We must not go any further. That is the area near the principal's office. If we are discovered, Mr. Dolokhov will not let us go."
The chestnut-haired girl pursed her lips and reminded Jon and the others with a serious face. At this time, Jon finally heard the other students calling her.
"Hermione..." A girl hesitated and asked in a low voice, "Taylor, Taylor, will they really never remember it again?"
There weren't many second-year students, probably only seven or eight in total. Probably because there was no one else around, this was the first time Jon heard Mudblood students gather together and talk actively.
When the girl asked the question, everyone else looked gloomy, as if the question reminded them of some sad past.
Hermione's face turned a little pale, and she pursed her lips tightly, as if she was gritting her teeth and trying to give a negative answer to the question, but in the end, she still lowered her head.
"Maybe... it will never happen again."
The students were obviously in a low mood, and the girl who asked the question had slightly red eyes, but no one dared to stay in the corridor for too long. They picked up the tools in their hands, went into the public bathroom and started cleaning.
They only had an hour to clean the bathroom that hadn't been used for two months, and they had to finish before breakfast started, so no one was lazy and everyone finished their work quickly. Finally, when pure-blood and half-blood students started to get up and appear in the corridor, they left the eighth floor and went to the separate hall for mudbloods - the basement where they had gathered last night to have breakfast.
There is nothing much to say about the food, it is just some food that normal people are unwilling to eat. The conditions in Hogwarts Castle are naturally not that bad, and feeding these to the Mudbloods is obviously intentional.
After breakfast, the Mudblood students will start their classes.
This is actually what Jon wanted to know. Although this aspect was also introduced in the information provided by Dumbledore, he still wanted to experience it for himself. How would the Mudblood students study in this castle without wands ?
