The Real Hogwarts Chapter 105 Book and Pen

The temperature was still very low at the end of January, and there was a winter rain in Hogwarts during the past two days. The cold wind at night penetrated into the corridor through the window, making the invisibility cloak on Jon's body rustle.
After he came out of the basement, he went up the stairs.
The stairs in the castle that were active during the day have now become quiet. Before, with Hermione's leadership, these seemingly conscious stairs could help them, but they did not provide such help to Jon, as if they only recognized Hermione .
But Jon didn't need to rush now. He reached out and wrapped the invisibility cloak tightly around himself, then went to the eighth floor of the castle.
He crossed the boundary that Voldemort set for everyone with ease, opened the door of the headmaster's office and walked into the entrance hall.
There were still some dried bloodstains on the ground here, and the ground was bumpy and had not been repaired. Going forward from the entrance hall and into the principal's office, you could see the serpent monster's body that was riddled with holes.
A month has passed and there has been no change in its body. The emerald green scales are still as bright and shiny, and the flesh exposed from the wounds is still fresh, without any signs of decay.
After all, the basilisk is a magical creature of XXXXX level. What's more, this basilisk created by Salazar Slytherin has lived for more than a thousand years. From its venom to its snake skin, its entire body is made of precious magical materials. As long as it can be taken out, it can definitely be sold at a high price.
Unfortunately, John had no way to take the body away. The cloth bag with the Traceless Extension Charm that Dumbledore prepared for him was far from enough to hold the basilisk's body. He could only find a way to knock out a fang and collect some venom for preservation.
In fact, he had originally planned to pry out both eyes of the basilisk, but he had no way of guaranteeing that the magic on its eyes would lose its effectiveness once the basilisk died. To be on the safe side, he did not do this risky move.
After passing the basilisk, you can see the desk with the four relics of the founder.
These four relics are still quietly placed here, looking like exhibits in an exhibition hall, nothing special or different.
However, Jon walked past them very cautiously. The more harmless these four relics appeared, the more alert he became.
Going up the spiral staircase in a small room behind the office, he once again came to the door of the small room at the top of the tower.
Inserting the telescopic eye into the crack of the door, Jon first made sure that the old witch, the middle-aged wizard and the young wizard in the three portraits were still in the frame, then he raised the ring in his hand.
"The curse stops immediately."
Different from the normal wand-casting spell, the sound of the spell to break the spell rang out softly, and John's body suddenly became different.
A strange wave began to spread out from his body, and soon broke through the door in front of him and broke into the room inside. Then the three portraits that were originally snoring with their heads down suddenly stopped as if the pause button was pressed.
The originally realistic and vivid portrait began to become stiff, as if a living object had become a dead object. The three wizards in the frame all became silent. They no longer breathed or moved, and became three ordinary dead paintings.
The room became quiet, and the open book on the desk in the middle seemed to be blown by the breeze and turned the pages. Then the feather pen inserted in the ink bottle beside it flew up out of thin air and wrote a child's name on the blank page.
Jon outside the door didn't feel anything, but when he looked at the ring he was wearing, he could vaguely see that the blood-red gem seemed to have become a little darker in color.
The magic power contained in it was extremely abundant. After absorbing the magic power from the three paintings, it had almost no space to store it and could only wait to be released .
Jon did not stay outside the door. He pushed it open and walked into the room. Without looking at other things, he went straight to the desk, closed the book full of names, and took away the feather pen that had just flown back into the ink bottle!
These two things are what Dumbledore asked John to sneak into Hogwarts and steal - the "Book of Admission" and the "Pen of Acceptance"!
Hogwarts' annual admissions are based entirely on these two magical items. When a child shows magical talent for the first time, the feather pen will fly out of the ink bottle and try to write the child's name into the admission book. At this time, the admission book will "bang" shut and refuse to be written until it receives sufficiently exciting evidence of magical powers.
In other words, in order to become a wizard and enter Hogwarts to study, one must actually go through two screening procedures. Only when both the book and the pen agree, will recognized as having the talent to become a wizard.
Since Hogwarts was founded thousands of years ago, the Book of Admission and the Pen of Acceptance have never made any mistakes in their cooperation. They have not let any Muggle or Squib who has no ability to learn magic into the castle, nor have they missed any student with magical qualifications and left them stranded outside.
This also means that starting from the year Hogwarts was founded, this book records the names and birth dates of all the students who have attended school in Hogwarts Castle for nearly a thousand years. This is a privilege unique to Hogwarts.
Before Voldemort came to power over the wizarding world, the Ministry of Magic had no right to see any of the information in this book.
But after Voldemort became the master of the Ministry of Magic and the headmaster of Hogwarts Castle, he could use the student information in the Book of Admission to identify the wizards in the entire wizarding world and determine their bloodline.
No one can hide his or her own background. After all, all wizards in the entire magical world graduated from Hogwarts, and when they entered school, they had already left absolutely true traces.
However, Voldemort did not make the existence of the Book of Admission public. Only he could enter the tower connected to the headmaster's office, which meant that he alone had a monopoly on the right to interpret the bloodline of wizards.
What puzzled Jon was that according to the cleverness shown by Voldemort now, he should put such an important thing in a safer place where he could see it. But Dumbledore told Jon vaguely that it was not that Voldemort himself did not want to move the book and pen, but that he simply did not have the ability to do so.
But now Jon obviously has this ability!
