Requiem Chapter 54: Unexpected Visitors
Today was a very fulfilling day, so fulfilling that I didn't even have time to eat.
It is early morning now, and the breakfast shop downstairs will open in a few hours.
"Let's go! Let's go to bed first. I'm so sleepy. I'll buy you breakfast later." Yin Hun yawned.
"Well! It's getting late." Tang Yan pulled Shen Feifei and followed her upstairs.
That night, Yin Hun tossed and turned in bed, unable to sleep. He smelled the hand that Tang Yan had held, which still had a faint body fragrance. Yin Hun was even a little intoxicated by it and temporarily forgot about Zhou Haiqing's death.
"What on earth is going on? This smell..." Yin Hun began to have wild thoughts.
Could it be that I have fallen in love with Tang Yan? Uh, it seems that Tang Yan is also interested in me. Could this be the verse in the second version of the Legend of Xu Xian, "Destined to meet, even though we are thousands of miles apart?"
Probably! Yin Hui asked himself that he was not the kind of person who fell in love with a woman at first sight. Whether it was Conan Doyle or Shen Feifei now, their looks were not much worse than Tang Yan's, but he just didn't have any feelings for them, not even the slightest improper desire.
Is it really fate?
As I thought about it, I became more and more energetic and couldn't fall asleep anymore.
It was only one o'clock in the morning. After tossing and turning for the Nth time, Yin Hun simply got up, walked to the living room, took out a bottle of beer and prepared to take a few sips.
A man tiptoed out of the bedroom, went to the refrigerator, took out a bottle of cold beer and some potato chips left over from the day, then sat on the sofa to eat them as a midnight snack.
But when he came to the sofa, he found a dark shadow hiding there. Yin Hui was immediately startled and asked, "Who is it?"
"It's me." Tang Yan's voice came faintly.
"Why aren't you asleep yet so late?" Yin Hun breathed a sigh of relief and asked.
"I can't sleep." There was something wrong with Tang Yan's voice.
Yin Hun sat on the sofa with a can of beer and put the potato chips on the table, but he smelled a strong smell of alcohol coming from Tang Yan.
"Tang Yan, why are you drinking?" Yin Hun frowned, then noticed a pile of open beer cans scattered at the foot of the table, thinking that something must have happened.
"I don't have any relatives in this world anymore. Even... even Master Zhou passed away. I..." Tang Yan's voice suddenly choked up, and then she grabbed the beer that Yin Hun had just opened and was about to drink it.
"Tang Yan, listen to me!" Yin Hun snatched the beer from Tang Yan's hand with his right hand. He knew that this girl never drank alcohol, and if she continued drinking like this, something bad would definitely happen.
"Tang Yan, if you don't mind, from now on I will be your relative, okay? I am your real brother." Yin Hui thought about it. This girl has always been very pitiful. She has no relatives, and has always been engaged in this kind of job that has nothing to do with society. From time to time, she has to endure the unknowing eyes of people around her. Even a grown man like him finds it difficult to move forward, let alone a girl? Perhaps, the cold look she puts on on weekdays is just a disguise, a coat to cover up her inner heart.
"Brother? Just brother?" Tang Yan put her little face in front of Yin Hun, her eyes shining. Yin Hun could clearly feel the sweet scent of the beauty in front of him. He even felt that if he kissed her, she would definitely not resist, but he still turned his head away guiltily.
"Tang Yan, ..." Yin Hui wanted to say something, but he didn't know what to say. Anyway, the more he spoke, the more confused he became. He simply reached out and hugged Tang Yan in his arms: "I swear, from now on, I will protect you for the rest of your life and will not let you be bullied."
Although Yin Hun did not point it out explicitly, a hug is enough for Tang Yan, isn't it?
Tears of happiness welled up in Tang Yan's eyes and she smiled.
Yin Hui scratched her nose unhappily and said, "Okay, don't be sad."
Lying in Yin Hui's warm embrace, Tang Yan felt that this was the happiest time of her life. She wished that time would not move forward and would be frozen at this moment forever.
Enjoying the sweet and rich taste of love, Tang Yan soon fell into a deep sleep in Yin Hun's arms. It was a pity for Yin Hun. He had been busy all day and his hands were already sore. With her pillow on him, he couldn't move at all, which was like adding fuel to the fire and rubbing salt into the wound. But he didn't dare to pull out, for fear of waking Tang Yan, so he had to grit his teeth and hold on.
About half an hour later, Yin Hun felt sleepy and finally forgot about the nerves in his arms that kept sending warnings, and fell into a deep sleep.
The next day, Yin Hun opened his eyes and found that his right arm had lost its feeling. He turned his head and saw Tang Yan lying in his arms with a happy look on her face. A lot of saliva flowed from her mouth and she licked it with her tongue from time to time, like a lazy little white cat.
"Oh my god." Yin Hun quickly pulled his arm out with his other hand (this arm had already lost feeling), and then woke up Tang Yan who was sleeping.
"Miss Tang, what the hell are you doing? Just go to sleep! You're drooling all over me."
At this time Tang Yan was also awakened by Yin Hun. She looked at him in disbelief, and when she raised her head, she felt something cold on her mouth. She quickly covered it with her hand. Yes, it was her own saliva.
"Oh!" Tang Yan screamed in panic and hurried into the bathroom. Looking at the crystal clear liquid on the sofa, Yin Hun couldn't help but smile bitterly.
"Good morning! Grandpa Yin Hui!" Shen Feifei, wearing a cute bear pajamas, stretched and jumped out of the room, then glanced at Yin Hui who was looking for toilet paper: "Have you seen Sister Tang Yan?"
Yin Hui was completely at a loss for words for this little devil. He just shrugged helplessly and moved his chin towards the bathroom. The action spoke for itself.
"It's so strange, why did I get up so early today?" Shen Feifei muttered to herself as she opened the bathroom door in her slippers. However, as soon as half of her body went in, she shrank back, turned her head, and stared at Yin Hun with blinking eyes. Her expression was like that of a neighborhood committee lady wearing a red armband who had discovered a car thief.
"Auntie, what's wrong with you?" Yin Hun felt that if he allowed this little devil to live in his house any longer, he would have a nervous breakdown sooner or later.
"You...did you do something bad to Sister Tang Yan again?" Shen Feifei asked with a smile.
"Lady, how dare I..." Yin Hun really didn't know what was going on in this little girl's mind every day.
"Tell the truth!" Shen Feifei's eyes widened.
"Really not..." Yin Hun suddenly realized that the roll of toilet paper in his hand was held in the right place. It was not used to wipe his saliva, but to wipe his tears .
"Hmph!" Shen Feifei raised her nose: "I don't think you dare!" After saying that, she slammed the door shut. A moment later, a burst of hysterical laughter came from the bathroom.
In the living room, Yin Hui put down the toilet roll in his hand and sighed sadly. Alas! Living with two beautiful women is probably not a pleasure, but a torture, right? The bathroom was occupied early in the morning. By the time it was his turn, his butt would probably be rubbed with calluses. Fortunately, he suddenly had an idea and remembered that he had a set of spare washing tools in the kitchen. He drank a sip of water and went to take care of his personal hygiene.
"Ding..." Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Yin Hui, holding a toothbrush in his mouth, clumsily opened the security door: "Who is it? You're here so early in the morning, you're here."
"I'm Sun Faxue." The person who spoke was actually Sun Faxue, the unprepossessing crematorium worker who had the same qualifications as his master but whose salary was a world apart from his.
"Haha! What a rare guest!" Yin Hun hurriedly turned the door lock, and with a casual glance, he found that Sun Faxue's eyes were dark, his cheeks were red with purple, his pupils were constricted, and he was full of anxiety and fear, as if Mount Tai was pressing down on him.
