FOE Family First Chapter 5 I Will Keep My Word, God Is My Witness

It is best for dialogue idiots to get straight to the point. They are not interested in listening to polite greetings from outsiders. If they are not interested in the first sentence, they will most likely close the door.
The young man was stunned for a moment, then he rubbed his face vigorously, and then he became interested and asked in an obviously excited tone: "Doctor's certificate? Can you get a doctor's certificate? The real one?"
A doctor's certificate is a necessary proof for students to ask for sick leave from school. Basically, a doctor's certificate is equivalent to three days of holiday. If there is no doctor's certificate and students insist on asking for sick leave, they will have to wait for the university to contact their parents.
"I thought the graduation ceremony is coming soon, and maybe your club would like to have a full-time carnival party before the members graduate and leave school. As for the question of authenticity , I guarantee that it is of course real, sir. You can verify it after you get it before paying." Tommy Hawke gave the young man a decent smile and said.
The young man didn't seem to want to invite Tommy Hawke in for a chat. He nodded and said, "Wait here. I'll go in and discuss it."
"Uh, a friendly reminder, the minimum order is ten, and each ticket is thirty dollars." Tommy Hawke added to the young man who turned and walked inside.
He wasn't worried that the price of thirty dollars per ticket would scare away customers. You know, although these white trash from Virginia were discriminated against by northerners, many northerners were actually quite jealous of them. Most of these white trash who came to college had large farmers or vineyards that covered dozens of hectares of land to grow tobacco or peanuts, and they might even hold shares that were compensated for the land occupied by local coal mining companies.
Don't be fooled by these white trash who are sloppy and behave rudely and wildly. They may be richer than many seemingly glamorous families in northern states. Those who can pay their college tuition in full without taking out loans and then pay an extra few hundred dollars each year for membership dues to join fraternities are the best among them.
Why does God favor you, a fool from Virginia? This saying, which is popular among the people of northern America, is basically equivalent to the Chinese saying that someone is stupid and rich.
Thirty dollars for three days of vacation, an average of ten dollars a day, is not expensive for wealthy fraternity members, and things are valuable because they are scarce. Tommy Hawke is sure that these guys in Providence or even the entire Rhode Island will never get a real doctor's certificate unless they are really sick. The reason for such strictness is the outbreak of AIDS in New York State. Americans have not yet figured out its transmission mechanism and can only strengthen medical management.
Soon, another companion with short brown hair followed the young man to the door. He looked Tommy Hawke up and down:
"Boy, are you a student of our school?"
Tommy shook his head slightly. "I'm a salesman from the Community College of Rhode Island."
"Is it the school that only local idiots with hopeless academic performance would go to?" The young man curled his lips in disdain, but added to Tommy Hawke: "Sorry, I don't mean to scold you. The fact that you can think of selling products shows that you have finally learned something in college. You are not an idiot."
"So..." Tommy Hawke spread his hands and said, "Do you need anything? Doctor's certificates and prescription drugs, I can provide them. They will be delivered as soon as this afternoon, and you can pay for them on delivery."
"How much do Adderall and Soprano cost?" The short-haired young man, obviously the leader of the fraternity, asked about the prices of the two prescription drugs.
Tommy opened his mouth and gave a price: "Same price, fifty cents a piece, minimum order of fifty."
"A bottle of 45 Adderall pills only costs five dollars at the pharmacy." The short-haired young man frowned and stared at Tommy.
Tommy said calmly, "If you can buy it from any pharmacy in Rhode Island without a doctor's prescription, you won't ask me the price. Believe me, it's not easy to get a large amount of prescription drugs without going through doctors and pharmacies. I think this is not the first time you've gone through pharmacies and doctors to buy prescription drugs. You should know the price better than me. This is a reasonable price. Since doctors in Rhode Island have to take an oath to take office, it's becoming increasingly difficult to get prescription drugs privately."
"If you can make it cheaper, I'll consider buying from you for a long time. You should know that fraternities often hold parties and the demand is huge." The young man thought for a moment and said to Tommy, "We are indeed planning to have a big party before the graduation ceremony. If the price is reasonable, I can purchase all the prescription drugs and alcohol needed for the party from you. That's a big business, kid."
"There's an old saying in Virginia that trust starts with abiding by the rules." Tommy Hawke smiled and quoted a proverb that white people in Virginia have often said since the slave trade. "I agree with that. Discounts often happen only after we abide by the rules. The price won't change this time, but if you need it during the big party, I think there will be a discount that will satisfy you."
The young man stared at Tommy for a few seconds and laughed, "I like you, kid! I like you! That's how it should be! This is a salesman you can trust! Tim Kane, vice president of the Johnson & Weeden University chapter of the North American Fraternity."
" You can call me Carlo, Carlo Leon, so, how can I help you?" Tommy also laughed.
"I think we'll need twenty doctor's certificates, one hundred Adderall, and one hundred Quaalude pills this time." The young man discussed in a low voice with his companions, then said to Tommy.
Tommy nodded. "No problem. Please provide me with twenty names and basic information for issuing medical certificates. I'd also like to borrow the driver's licenses of at least six of you."
"Of course... kid, you seem much more reliable. Before, there were idiots who told me that he could get a doctor's certificate without even asking my name, but it turned out to be a liar." The young man was stunned for a moment, then he came to his senses, called his companions in to get the relevant information, and he said to Tommy himself.
Tommy took out a cigarette, handed it to the young man, lit it for him, and then took one himself:
"There is a difference between a salesman and a scammer. I am doing business, not trying to commit a crime."
"If you can bring good stuff, kid, you will be the most trusted salesman of our fraternity in the future." The young man took a puff of cigarette, smiled brightly and said, "You should know what I mean, good stuff."
Tommy Hawke smiled modestly, took the paper with his name on it and a few driver's licenses from his companion, bowed slightly to the two, and turned away:
"The Bible says that those who believe in me will be forgiven of their sins, become great saints, and share the inheritance. So, you two, I will keep my word, and God will bear witness to it."
