Episode 4 Chapter 034 Trap
When I touched this thing, I was shocked. And from the touch, it felt like an envelope or something like that, so I tore the envelope off. When I took it out, the envelope was torn a little. Just like the one in Huang Weilun's house, there was also a CD inside.
I was stunned for a moment holding the CD, because I saw the one in Huang Weilun's house and thought the scene was too weird. I wondered if this one would contain the same weird scene? If they came up with an excuse like "it's behind you", I was afraid I wouldn't be able to handle it alone.
I struggled with my thoughts, but curiosity overcame fear in the end. I inserted the CD into the computer, found the mobile file, and clicked on the video. However, when I clicked on this video, it was black, pure black, but there was sound, and it seemed like the sound of footsteps, very loud.

So I clicked it to play, and although the picture was pitch black, I kept staring at the picture. I just watched and listened like this, and even so, to be honest, I was a little scared, and I was afraid that there would be a shocking sound or picture, which would really scare me to death. But unlike what I expected, this CD was not as thrilling as the one at Huang Weilun's house.
This sound is so monotonous that if the progress bar hadn't been moving, I would have thought it was just repeating the same sound. And after watching it for about ten minutes, I started to feel bored and wanted to fast forward, but I held back and kept playing it for myself.
When it was almost over, I suddenly heard a different sound inside. It was the sound of the elevator stopping at the building. Then there was the sound of footsteps again, and then I heard a knock on the door from the computer, and just as the knock on the door sounded, I heard a real knock on the door.
What a coincidence! The two knocks on the door actually happened at the same time. I was so frightened that I trembled all over because I was not prepared. Then the knocks on the door became louder, but the video on the computer had already reached the end and stopped.
So I got up to see, but my heart was beating fast. It was still early and Shi Hu had just left. It couldn't be him and Master Nan. Apart from him and Master Nan, I didn't know who else would come. Could it be Xiao Ma?
Thinking this way, I went to the living room door and looked out through the peephole. The knocking continued. I could even feel someone knocking on the door, but there was no one outside. It was Shi Hu calling, and I answered it immediately.
Shi Hu's voice came immediately from the other end of the phone. He asked me if I had seen Ma Yippin during the time he was away. I said no, and asked him what happened. Shi Hu said that Ma Yippin was missing and he could not be found no matter what. When I heard the word "missing", I asked, "Could he be on the twelfth floor?"
I don't know why I always feel that he might be on the twelfth floor, but Shi Hu said that they had already looked for him and he was not there. Shi Hu called not specifically to talk about Ma Yippin's call, but about another matter. He said that a CD was also found under the desk in Ma Yippin's house.
I was startled and asked what was inside. Shi Hu didn't tell me, but said hastily that he inferred that there might be one under our desk, and asked me to feel it. If there was one, I should not touch it and wait for him to come over. After listening to Shi Hu, I said I had found it and took it out.

I instinctively said "something's not right". Shi Hu on the other end asked if something was wrong with Shen Emei, but the scene I saw next didn't allow me to answer him at all, because from the video on the computer, I saw a person standing behind me, and it was nothing else but the paper man behind the door!

I tried to straighten up, but I couldn't see anything. I only knew that I was leaning against a wall. So I sat up against the wall, holding my breath and listening to the movements around me like a blind person. There was complete and dead silence around me. Except for the crisp sound of the papers under me, there was nothing else.
I asked myself in my heart where this place was, but I had no answer and no impression at all. The only thing I remembered was the horrifying and weird picture in the computer and the paper man that looked like a dead person's face.
I touched along the wall, trying to find out what was next to me, or if there was a switch or something like that on the wall. Then I slowly stood up and touched along the wall little by little. Finally, I really touched something that looked like a switch. I pressed it, and then a bright light appeared in front of my eyes.
As the lights came on, I finally saw clearly where I was and where I was. It was a room similar to a workshop, with waste paper thrown everywhere. But that was not the point. The point was that the room was full of paper figures, almost exactly the same as the one I carried home, and the place where I had just been lying was near the door.
Suddenly I was in such a scene, my legs felt weak, I didn't know how I got here, anyway, my only thought now was to leave here immediately, I tried to pull the door, the door was quickly opened, I ran out from inside as if escaping, outside was a small courtyard, this looked like a family's home, but at this time I just wanted to leave here immediately, I didn't bother to look at where this place was in detail, I just saw that the courtyard door was open, I rushed out from the gate.
After I came out, there was a small road. I walked straight through it, and then I felt like I was suddenly on the side of a highway, but there were no street lights. At the same time, I saw people bustling about in the distance, and I didn’t know what they were talking about. Then a flashlight shone on me, and then I seemed to hear someone shouting, "Found it, it’s over here."
