Chapter 9 I Only Believe in You 1
Since Xu Zhe was discharged from the hospital, life has returned to its former peace. The classmates in the school have all accepted the fact that Su Han and Xu Zhe are a couple. In addition, the final exams have just passed and most of the classmates have returned home. Su Han, who lives not far from the city, decided to go home later and spend more time with her new boyfriend Xu Zhe.
On the first day after the final exams, Xu Zhe got up early and happily ran to the kitchen to make breakfast. He carefully fried two loving double-yolk eggs, heated up the milk, and baked two loaves of bread. He ran excitedly to Su Han's door and knocked on it with confidence.
"Su Han, get up quickly! Breakfast is ready, you can get up and eat!"
His knocking on the door was very rhythmic, and it kept Su Han awake even though she wanted to pretend she didn't hear it. She scratched her messy hair and looked at the alarm clock. It was only half past six!
"Xu Zhe!" She roared loudly, "If your reasons are not enough to convince me to get up so early, you're dead! Today is the first day of the holiday!"
Xu Zhe discovered that after he and Su Han officially became boyfriend and girlfriend, she began to show a different side to him. For example, now she had a bit of a hot temper, but he also liked this bit of hot temper.
He curled the corners of his thin lips and said softly through the door: "Actually, to celebrate your final exam, I want to take you to a place. That place is a little far, so you need to get up early."
" Take me somewhere?" Su Han finally came to her senses. She opened the door and looked at the boy opposite her curiously. "Where?"
Xu Zhe had changed his clothes early. He was wearing a dark green pilot jacket and grey jeans, which made his skin look exceptionally fair and his figure exceptionally slender. His handsome brows relaxed and he leaned over to give her a gentle kiss on the face .
"Yes, I promise you will never forget it."
An hour later, Su Han got on a very fancy tandem bicycle. She had only one comment about this bicycle: it was too fancy to look at directly.
The whole car is pink from the tires to the seats, and the handlebars are decorated with colorful woven ribbons, which fly up with the car when it runs. Although it is very beautiful, it is too ostentatious! Not only did it attract the attention of passers-by, but also several children watched from the side.
Su Han secretly moved a few meters away and pretended to look up at the sky. Xu Zhe inserted a bunch of beautiful flowers into the bicycle basket in front of him and turned back excitedly: "Su Han, come here!"
There's really no way to avoid it!
She gritted her teeth and got on the pink bicycle.
The weather was very good today. Although it was late autumn, the sun was still bright. On both sides of the beautiful asphalt road, golden leaves were falling, as if a thick carpet had been laid on the ground. They moved along the coastline. The blue sea changed from shallow to deep, like the clearest sapphire. There was not a cloud in the sky, and its reflection on the sea made it difficult to distinguish the boundary.
"It's so beautiful." Su Han, who was sitting in the back seat, couldn't help but admire.
Xu Zhe nodded and suddenly became excited: "Look over there, there is a heart-shaped island, do you see it?"
"Ah?" Su Han stretched his neck, and sure enough, near the coastline, there was a emerald green island in the shape of a heart, which looked extremely cute.
"That's where I want to take you. I've rented a motorboat in advance. It's here! Let's take the speedboat there."
After truly braving the wind and waves all the way, Su Han and Xu Zhe finally arrived at the heart-shaped island. Xu Zhe drove the motorboat and took her around. Su Han turned around and saw that the waves behind the motorboat formed a circle of white hearts.
Gradually, the simple pier on the island came into her sight. On the beach, there was a lovely wooden house. Under the sunlight, the white sand beside the house was sparkling. Everything was so romantic that she hugged Xu Zhe in front of her unconsciously.
"Su Han, we're here." When walking onto the dock, Xu Zhe's fair ears turned slightly red, but Su Han was completely unaware that anything was wrong and rushed towards the cabin with great interest.
"Why is this house empty?"
They opened the door of the cabin and found it empty. Apart from the fact that it was new, there were also tents and food inside that they had used when they went camping together.
Xu Zhe leaned against the door frame and looked at her happily: "How about this? I built this myself in the past few months. How about using it to hold my personal art exhibition?"
"Personal art exhibition!" Su Han was very happy. "Great! You disappeared for a few days just to build this house? But if we hold an art exhibition here, there is nothing here!"
Xu Zhe tapped her forehead gently: "This requires slow preparation."
As he spoke, he moved aside, revealing the neatly arranged colored paints and brushes behind the door, as well as some unfinished tables and chairs. At this moment, a furry head popped out from the schoolbag behind Xu Zhe, shook off the fur on its body, and looked around curiously.
"Red panda!" Su Han touched its head, "Do you like it here?"
The red panda swung its tail, meowed with satisfaction, and nimbly jumped onto the window sill next to it, squinting its eyes beautifully towards the sunlight.
"Lazy guy," Xu Zhe walked to the door with a smile and opened the can of paint. "Su Han, I can come here alone. There are game consoles and computers in the tent over there. You..."
When he looked up, he found that Su Han had already folded two paper hats neatly. She put one on his head with a smile: "Your dream is to hold an art exhibition, how can you do it without my help?"
"Su Han..." Xu Zhe's black gemstone eyes were filled with warmth. He lowered his head and pressed his forehead against hers. The sunlight passed between them, and the scene was as dreamy as a painting. "Meeting you is the luck of my life."
Su Han smiled slightly, her fair face seemed to be shining: "It is my luck to meet you."
The two people and the cat lived on the island for three days and finally renovated the cabin to look brand new.
When leaving, Xu Zhe stood on the beach, watching the sunset set over the red roof of the cabin, looking at the person leaning beside him with a smile on her face, and suddenly felt that if his life stopped at this moment, there would be no regrets.
