Chapter 8 Important clues?
The gym in Viridian City can be regarded as the first gym you will encounter after coming out of Pallet Town. The reputation of Sakaki the Earth is still well-known throughout the league.
It is also because of this that many trainers often gather outside the Evergreen Gym. Generally, these trainers are collecting Pokémon badges and preparing to challenge trainers in the Quartz League.
Apart from this place, Heath felt that the next place where the most trainers gathered should be the Pokémon Center. However, considering that the Pokémon Center was quite far from his location, Heath decided to come to the gym.
As soon as he arrived at the Viridian City Gym, Heath saw many trainers, some with Pidgeot, some with Cloverleaf, and even one or two with Skyrocket.
A strange smell came out from this place, making Heath cover his mouth involuntarily.
How could he forget that the Evergreen Gym is a very famous earth gym, and most people would choose to bring Grass and Water Pokémon?
There must be some trainers who have the Pokémon Smelly. Speaking of which, Smelly is a very miserable Pokémon. Because of its very recognizable smell, it ranks on the list of Pokémon that "cannot be released in the city."
Next are Pokémon like Muddy and Gasbomb. Among them, those that are too heavy like Snorlax and Onix are also not acceptable.
"I should have worn a mask earlier... It's killing me..." Heath touched the Poké Ball on his waist, but in order to complete the task, he had no choice but to set up a small stall in this place.
Maybe because the smell of Vileplume was so great, not many people wanted to eat it. Heath waited until the trainer carrying Vileplume entered the gym to challenge it before he served the first customer.
These trainers looked , and there was nothing special about entertaining them. After being busy for a while, Heath had entertained nine guests.
Some customers offered Heath a candy, while some offered nothing. Heath didn't really understand how his golden finger determined whether to give a reward or not.
"Hello, can you make food for Pokémon here?" A strange voice came. Heath looked up and saw a little boy who looked a little arrogant. There was a necklace around his neck.
"Yes, yes...but can your Pokémon eat this?" Heath nodded hesitantly. The little boy in front of him looked to be the same age as Satoshi.
However, Heath was not very confident that he could entertain Pokémon. After all, when he entertained Charizard before, Heath found that different Pokémon had different taste requirements. What's more, some people like fried rice, pancakes and other things while some don't, let alone Pokémon.
Heath is not Superman, and he cannot be liked by everyone.
"I see that the trainers who bought your food were very satisfied with the food, so it should be okay." The little boy nodded confidently.
The corner of Heath's mouth twitched. What on earth was this little boy thinking? However, since the customer had said so, Heath didn't mind making one for him. However, before that, Heath needed to see what the little boy's Pokémon was.
"Then what is your Pokémon?" Heath asked the little boy. Pokémon have different requirements for taste, and different Pokémon have different tastes, which is reflected in the fruits.
Of course, not every Pokémon likes the same kind of fruit. Some Pokémon are special, such as the Charizard that Seath just entertained. It likes sweet fruits.
"I... I don't have Pokémon yet! But with Pokémon food, I can definitely catch one!" The little boy looked very confident. Heath curled his lips. Why is he buying food without Pokémon?
"I can't guarantee that it will be useful without Pokémon food. You should think about it." Heath shook his head and did not agree to the boy's request.
"I just want a serving of that... fried rice!" The boy took out fifteen Alliance coins from his pocket and handed them to Heath, who was a little helpless.
But the customers had already paid, and it was not appropriate for Heath to refuse. He simply made a portion of fried rice according to the instructions, put it in a box and gave it to the boy. The boy took the fried rice and ran away excitedly.
Heath shook his head, guessing that the boy would not be a trainer. Heath did not receive any message that the mission was completed, so he continued to wait quietly at the entrance of the Viridian City Gym.
There were still a lot of people in the Evergreen City Gym, but many of the people coming out had very depressed expressions, and only some looked happy. Looking at their expressions, Heath knew the result of the challenge.
"Could it be that Sakaki couldn't stand much that he went to concentrate on running Team Rocket?" Heath looked at the crowd in front of him with a strange expression. There were too many people.
[You entertained Green and received a Green Onion Duck candy]
The intrusive word frame jumped out, and Heath's hand trembled, and he almost threw the spatula in his hand onto the customer's face. He glanced at the trainer in front of him, an elderly uncle.
This doesn't look like Qinglu at all, and Heath just handed a portion of fried rice to one boy, so that boy is Qinglu?
Heath was a little confused, but that didn't affect him as he quickly made fried rice for the trainer in front of him, and took the money and put it in his pocket.
[You entertained ten trainers and obtained a random important clue]
[It is rumored that someone saw a white figure running very fast in the Evergreen Forest]
Two word boxes popped up, and Heath was stunned for a moment. Before he could think about it carefully, other hungry trainers came over after smelling the fragrance. In order to entertain the guests, Heath could only temporarily put aside the hint.
When Heath had sold all the food, it was still afternoon, Heath hurriedly packed up his stall and walked towards where he lived.
"A white figure running very fast? What the hell is that?" Heath was a little confused. Since this important clue was given by the golden finger, it must have its own special meaning. However, Heath couldn't figure out what this clue meant.
But at least there is a location, Evergreen Forest.
"Scallion, scallion!" The Onion Duck was flying next to Heath, circling around Heath and calling continuously as it flew.
Heath had a headache. Farfetch'd didn't give up and kept thinking about continuing to learn how to make pancakes. Heath felt that if he had Farfetch'd's perseverance to fight again and again after failure, wouldn't it have been easy for him to pass the postgraduate entrance examination?
"Yes, yes, I'll buy it for you later!" Heath was a little helpless. He could only deal with the Farfetch'd first before he could consider the clues.
