Chapter 7
Chapter 7
She buried her head in the desk and found a few pieces of the most beautiful pink stationery. After cutting and refining, she wrote a confession letter.
Amemiya-kun told her not to do anything, but she insisted on doing it.
However, as she wrote, she forgot her original intention and her face gradually turned red.
She picked out the one she was most satisfied with, folded it into a heart shape, and put it in her pocket.
Tired of crying, she rested her head in her arms, imagined the surprised face of Irie-senpai, and took a blissful nap.
She didn't know how long it was before she heard a slight sound of footsteps. Amemiya stopped in front of her seat: "Are you still crying for that ugly guy with four eyes?"
He threw a piece of handmade chocolate with an even more beautiful package on her desk and coughed lightly: "I just made it casually. If you want to receive chocolate today, just tell me directly. It's not like I can't agree to such a small thing."
It turned out that he had been away for so long to tinker with chocolate.
But is there a place that makes chocolate nearby?
"No," she muttered.
"Ha, have you fallen in love with something else so soon?"
She clenched the chocolate in her arms: "No, I don't. The chocolate I like is the chocolate given by Irie-senpai, not yours, Amamiya-kun. The meaning is completely different, okay?" "
Really?" Amamiya's face, which was sunny and bright the previous second, became gloomy and ferocious the next second. He pressed her shoulder with one hand and forcefully grabbed the damn chocolate with the other hand.
Naoko struggled desperately to avoid it, and suddenly, a pink heart-shaped object fell out of her pocket.
Before she could react, he bent down and picked up the letter.
She didn't care about the chocolate and hurriedly grabbed his hand: "No, Amamiya-kun, give it back to me!"
Of course Amamiya wouldn't listen.
He violently opened the letter, and when he saw the words on it clearly, his eyes were about to blaze with fire: "Naoko, do you want to die?"
"No."
"Ha, then tell me, what is this?"
She threw the jar and shouted angrily: "Love letter. This is a love letter I wrote to Irie-senpai. Anyway, it has nothing to do with you, Amamiya-kun."
Amamiya originally felt a nameless fire burning in his chest, and now he laughed out of anger. He pressed the love letter on her desk and changed his expression: "Okay, our Naoko has grown up. Do you also want to learn from the bad boy and fall in love?
"Sure, then go ahead."
He didn't seem to be too angry.
Naoko breathed a sigh of relief, but when she met Amamiya-kun's dark eyes that reflected no light, she had a bad premonition in her heart.
She asked cautiously: "Really? Then, can you give the letter back to me?"
"Of course," the hateful guy said, and tore up the letter cleanly, "No. "
She was so angry!
But Naoko had no way to deal with him.
However, when she took out the pink envelope from the table again and was about to write a love letter, Amemiya-kun did not react.
She thought she had hidden it well and did not let Amemiya Tomie notice.
But when she came back from the bathroom, she saw this guy looking at the thin paper carefully.
"Give it back to me!" Naoko felt two streams of hot air rising from her forehead, and hurriedly stepped forward and took the love letter back.
He saw the letter being taken away from his hand, and smiled: "I thought Naoko, when did your literary talent become so good, it turns out that you copied the lyrics. Can this also impress your senior?" He snorted with an ambiguous meaning, "It seems that he is also a guy with no taste."
"...You have no taste. "
After confirming that he had not done anything to the letter, Naoko carefully folded it into a heart shape and placed it under the chocolate she had made.
But she soon discovered that although the wrapping paper looked a bit similar, this was not the one she had made herself.
"Amemiya-kun-"
"Huh?"
"Where's my chocolate?" "
I ate it."
"Huh?" Naoko was furious, "What-did-you-say-"
He said as a matter of course: "Naoko accepted the chocolate I gave you, didn't you? Then you should have given me one too."
"You forced it on me, I didn't want it at all!" She corrected in a low voice, "You could have taken your broken chocolate back."
He spread his hands: "I've already eaten it."
Naoko grabbed her hair in despair: "What should I do? I still have to confess to Irie-senpai this afternoon-don't you think chocolate is disgusting? Why do you want to eat it, why do you want to eat it?" Amemiya tapped
her head with the chocolate: "They all look the same anyway, don't they? He couldn't tell who made it."
"How can they be the same? I made it in the shape of a heart... and what is this one? A Christmas hat?"
"No." He picked up the well-wrapped chocolate and shook it in front of her, "I bought the one in the shape of a dung."
She was angry and anxious: "Amamiya-kun, you are so childish!"
But it was definitely too late to buy a new one now. It was the school chocolate festival and the store must have sold out long ago.
However, Naoko didn't have time to think too much, because she soon received a message from Irie Reo:
[Naoko-chan...
[I will always wait for you.]
How could she bear to keep her senior waiting for a long time.
But just after taking two steps, she was grabbed by Amamiya from behind.
"I'll go with you, Naoko." He smiled with an ambiguous smile, "Don't family members need to be present on such occasions? "
Looking at his weird expression, she always felt an indescribable uneasiness in her heart.
This uneasiness was certainly not without reason, because Naoko soon discovered that when Amemiya-kun approached against the rain of cherry blossoms, Irie-senpai's eyes did not fall on her for a second.
Just like other people who were fascinated by Amemiya-kun, Reo Irie's face showed a kind of expression that could be called "obsession" and "madness".
Amemiya seemed to have expected this, and even the gentle curve of his lips did not change at all:
"Are you the presumptuous ugly man who wants to fall in love with our Naoko?"
Although she was sensitive to the weird atmosphere, Naoko couldn't help feeling shy when she suddenly heard Amemiya's straightforward words, and hurriedly tugged at his clothes.
"Amemiya-kun, you..."
But before she could finish her words, she was interrupted hastily and loudly by Irie: "Amemiya-kun! I'm sorry, I didn't mean that... Kawase and I are just good friends, and we definitely don't have any feelings other than friendship..."
Two blushes appeared on his face, and he twisted his fingers in panic: "Excuse me, are you Amemiya-kun... ? You are as handsome as the rumors say. How come I met you so late..."
His wide-open eyes scared Naoko.
Instead, Amemiya gently placed a hand on her shoulder, halting her retreat. Looking down, he asked, "Naoko, don't you have something to say to him?"
She clutched the love letter in her hand, her lower lip pursed.
As if sensing what she was about to say, Irie Reo quickly explained, "I have absolutely no other feelings for you, Kawase. Explain this to Amemiya-kun! Amemiya-kun, please believe me, I have no feelings for her at all!"
Naoko felt something shatter in her chest. Her young, naive love had ended so abruptly.
No matter how insensitive, being so openly disowned by a loved one would be heartbreaking.
"Since you have nothing to say, Naoko, I'm taking you away."
Amemiya didn't empathize with her sadness. Instead, he adopted a gloating expression, as if to say, "See, I warned you!" and pinched her cheek.
"Come on, Naoko. Next time, remember to keep your eyes open." He took Naoko's hand as he wished, dragging her forcefully for two steps.
From behind, Irie Reo's persistent voice inquired, "Amemiya-kun, please—excuse me, are you in a relationship? Can I—"
Amemiya ignored him, his gaze fixed on the irritated face of the person next to him, taunting her with it: "Look, Naoko, this is the person you like. Not only is she ugly, but she's also a philandering uglier... You have really bad taste, Naoko."
Perhaps the problem wasn't Irie-sempai at all.
In the small village of Kamikawa, Naoko had never met a creature who could resist Amemiya-kun's beauty.
From eighty- and ninety-year-old men who were involved in scams to little kids in diapers playing with spit, everyone was captivated by him.
Even the proud stray cat at the village entrance had a soft spot for him. Naoko had been feeding the cat for over two months, but it didn't even want her to pet it, but would enthusiastically and proactively rub against Amemiya-kun's trouser legs.
He was resistant to such overly cute things, but even if he had kicked it away with disgust and coldness many times, the cat would still cling to him clingingly the next time.
Now Irie-senpai had probably become that cat.
What should she do?
With Amemiya-kun around, she probably wouldn't be able to have a normal relationship or make friends for the rest of her life, right?
Ahhhhhh, she was angry, but helpless about it.
Besides, facing this terrible scene, she actually felt a damn familiarity, as if it had happened before in the distant past.
Naoko wanted to go to a big city to study at a university. Besides yearning for it, she admitted that she also had an inexplicable desire to avoid Amemiya-kun.
Faced with her heartbreak, Amemiya-kun seemed to be in a good mood, and even asked Naoko, who was sobbing softly, in a sweet voice:
"Ah, Kasuga's chocolate parfait is buy one get one free. Naoko, do you want to eat four?"
"Who's in the mood now..."
"Double chocolate."
