Chapter 6: Tangled Relationship three
Mu Yege suddenly sighed softly. I rolled my eyes at him. I thought, "You're still sighing? You have to follow me, so I can't talk to you properly." I kept thinking about how to get rid of them. They were almost at my house. Could it be that An Yixuan, who had finally come to pick me up from school, would just leave without saying anything? No!
"I'm almost home. Yiran, shouldn't your house be to the right? Well, Muye Ge, isn't it time for you to change direction too?" I said, stopping at the fork in the road.
"Then..." Muye Ge looked at An Yixuan with a somewhat conflicted expression.
An Yixuan didn't say anything, he just stood towards my house, as if silently expressing his intention . I just stood aside and watched Mu Yege and Xun Yiran, and the atmosphere was a little awkward for a moment.
In the end, it was Xun Yiran who broke the deadlock and spoke first: "So I'll leave first, Mu Yege, shall we go together?"
Mu Yege glanced at me with a somewhat reluctant expression, but finally said helplessly: "Then we will go first, be careful on the road."
I nodded , thinking to myself that you two should leave quickly. I finally breathed a sigh of relief when I saw them walking away slowly. I smiled at An Yixuan and asked, "Are you going to take me home?"
An Yixuan glared at me and continued walking forward in silence. I hurriedly jogged to catch up with him.
An Yixuan was walking in front, his back was stretched out by the setting sun. I couldn't help but step on his shadow for fun. He ignored me anyway, so if his shadow went to the left, I would step on the left side, and if it went to the right, I would step on the right side.
An Yixuan suddenly turned around to look at me and saw me jumping around. He rolled his eyes at me with a look of disgust, but there seemed to be a smile at the corner of his mouth and his dimple moved slightly.
I made a face at him. As before, if he liked me, then if I made a mistake I would just have to act cute and try my best to make him happy.
An Yixuan turned around and continued walking forward without saying anything to me. I was so bored that I raised my eyebrows and followed him, racking my brains to think of how to talk to him so that he would pay attention to me.
We were almost at my house, and I kept staring at his face as I walked, that beautiful face, those obsidian eyes, the tall nose and the pale pink lips. I was so focused on looking at him that I almost bumped into a telephone pole, but An Yixuan grabbed me and dragged me to the side.
"Why are you staring at me? You're not even looking at the road!" An Yixuan said angrily, "How can a girl stare at someone like that? People are observing carefully. I don't know whether to say you're careless or what."
"I would only want to stare at you if you are handsome. If you are not handsome, I would not look at you." I said with a smile.
"Are you following me just because I'm handsome?" An Yixuan widened his eyes, looking incredulous.
I quickly shook my head: "Am I such a superficial person? I have very high standards. Makino Ge is also very handsome, but I just don't like him."
An Yixuan blinked, hugged her chest and looked at me and asked, "Mu Yege? He likes you very much?"
"That's not the case. We are just classmates." I answered somewhat guiltily.
"Classmates, your classmates will send you home." An Yixuan asked after a long time.
"I swear to God, there is nothing between him and me. He asked me to help him pursue Xun Yiran, the girl who just walked with us."
"That's a good vision." An Yixuan said deliberately.
"Humph, then go after her too." I said angrily.
"Go on, what happened next? He fell in love with someone else?" An Yixuan looked calm and continued to listen to me.
I rolled my eyes. "I don't know what happened later, but he treated me better. But I rejected him righteously. We are just classmates. I have big goals, right?"
"You talk like you're so noble." An Yixuan curled his lips slightly , "You're such a worrying guy."
"I'm very worry-free. I'm so well-behaved and obedient." I said with a smile like a flower.
"Is this what you call being cute ?"
"I'm just being cute, okay?" I almost vomited blood. Although there was no such word as "being cute" 10 years ago, you can't say that I'm pretending to be cute, I am really cute.
An Yixuan stared at me with his eyes wide open: "What is acting cute? Is there any difference between that and pretending to be cute?" He asked in a very serious tone, which made me laugh instead. "You're quite cute when you smile." He suddenly raised his eyebrows and said.
I nodded and said shamelessly, "I am very cute." Then I stared at An Yixuan again.
"What are you looking at?" An Yixuan touched his face.
"It's nothing, I just feel that you are a little different." I lowered my head and looked at the concrete floor beneath my feet. A lot of things have changed. Many things and many people from 10 years ago are changing.
"What are you thinking about?" An Yixuan asked in confusion, "How am I different?"
"It's nothing, maybe I'm just imagining things. I'm almost home, how are you going to get home?" I suddenly realized that his house is quite far from mine.
"I can take a bus. It's so rare that I want to send you home, but I have to be followed by someone." An Yixiuan said with a little complaint.
"Then let's do it another day. Also, next time if you want to take me home, you can tell me earlier. Such a sudden surprise will scare people." I said with a pout.
"Then you always come to me suddenly, which is also very sudden and scares me too!" An Yixuan retorted.
"Okay, okay, to be honest, I'm busy preparing for exams lately, so I may not come to see you as regularly. I'll go when I have time." I turned back to the business.
An Yixuan nodded: "Studying is important, but you must know that you can't be distracted by others. Come to me when you have time. You can ask me if you don't understand."
"Don't worry, I've always been a good boy in school." I promised with a smile, thinking to myself that I will give you a big surprise soon!
An Yixuan and I said goodbye at the door of his house. As I watched him walk towards the station, I really felt a little strange in my heart.
