Chapter 6 Li Wei 03
I woke up.
Thank God, thank Buddha, thank Allah, thank God, and thank all the gods who woke me up.
It felt good to wake up in the taxi before rushing to the hospital.
I suddenly woke up, rubbing my hands and smiling smugly, which scared Leng Zimo, who was sitting next to me and holding me in her arms.
"Are you okay? Ai Ye? What happened to you just now? Why did you suddenly faint?" Leng Zimo asked repeatedly, the expression on his face still not relaxing.
I laughed at him, "I'm fine! What could possibly happen to me? I guess the wind by the river just now must have blown my head! That's why I suddenly fainted!"
As I spoke, I reached out to touch my forehead. When I felt the hot forehead, I was stunned.
Could it be that I was right? My fainting just now was not due to a recurrence of an old injury, but rather a fever from the river breeze?
Seeing that I was standing there without saying anything, Leng Zimo also stretched out his hand. I felt a chill on my forehead. He was checking my body temperature.
"You do have a slight fever. Let's go to the hospital and get an antipyretic injection..." Leng Zimo said, his hand still on my forehead.
I suddenly felt a strong atmosphere of ambiguity flowing violently between Leng Zimo and me.
I felt embarrassed and wanted to move away, but I found myself collapsed in Leng Zimo's arms and my face turned red.
"Hey! What's wrong with you? Ai Ye? Why is your face so red? Why are you lying there motionless? Are you feeling unwell again?"
Leng Zimo nervously asked, touching my forehead with her hand.
I suddenly wanted to cry.
I want to say, senior, can you please stop touching my face?
After all, she is a teenage girl. Aren’t you afraid that she will have wild thoughts?
Also, you have my whole body in your arms, can I move?
As soon as I moved, I bumped into you!
If I encounter this situation, can a teenage girl like me control myself?
Finally, I couldn't stand Leng Zimo's fussing anymore, so I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, and tried to sit up with my arms.
But as soon as I raised my head, my forehead hit something warm. Then I saw Leng Zimo's face stiffen instantly, and my face turned even redder.
I won't admit it even if you kill me! I raised my head and sat up from Leng Zimo's arms, sitting aside and rolling my eyes.
Silence, deathly silence. Leng Zimo and I turned to the windows on either side, neither of us saying a word .
He kissed my forehead! Oh, what should I do in the future? It's getting more and more difficult to get rid of him! In fact, if I didn't have to die early, I would have had further development with Leng Zimo, right?
But……
Ah! But what! I shook my head, trying to get rid of the messy thoughts in my mind. Isn't it just an accidental kiss on the forehead? I was really imagining things. Leng Zimo still dragged me to the hospital and gave me a shot to reduce the fever.
When we left, Leng Zimo asked me to get some antipyretic medicine, and then we took a taxi back to school.
Along the way, the two of us remained silent. I felt that if we continued to be silent like this, something big would eventually happen.
Just as I was about to say something, my cell phone rang. The person who called me most often was Li Wei, and when I took out my cell phone, I saw Wei Wei's name jumping around on the screen.
"Ye Zi, I saw on the news that a star came to your school. Is that Wang Meiwen a mosquito? Ye Zi, Ai Ye? Have you gone to see her? Is the real person a mosquito?" Li Wei yelled at me excitedly.
My heart skipped a beat, and I tried not to sound too dry as I replied calmly, "That shouldn't be the case! There are so many people in the world who look alike! With her personality, our Mosquito can't possibly become a star in the entertainment industry, right?"
"Really? The name is exactly the same! The face looks very similar to Mosquito, but more coquettish. But you are right, this person's temperament is very different from Mosquito. But I was still very excited when I saw the report, thinking that Mosquito really came back. I think we haven't seen each other for five or six years! I wonder where she is now and whether she is doing well. Alas!" Li Wei said with a sad tone.
It's not that I don't want Li Wei to know about Mosquito. It's just that among the three of us, Li Wei knows the least about the past. If she knew that Mosquito's father committed suicide and her father was involved, given her personality, I don't know what she would do.
Li Wei's voice was a little noisy, and I could vaguely hear the station conductor calling people to get on the bus. My heart tightened, and I asked in confusion: "Li Wei, are you at the station? Where are you going?"
Li Wei laughed and said, "Where else can I go? Home! Don't I have too few classes? I have nothing to do so I want to go home and play for a few days. The driver of our family's car has driven back, so I can only take the train." There was some evasiveness in Li Wei's voice, as if she was hiding something.
I was about to continue asking questions when Li Wei shouted that tickets had to be checked and hung up the phone.
Li Wei is not a homebody. Even if she has few classes, she will go shopping, sing and have fun. I couldn't help but be surprised .
When I called again to ask, Li Wei's phone was unreachable.
The car arrived at the school.
When I got off the car, Leng Zimo saw that I looked serious and took the lead in breaking the previous awkwardness and asked, "What's wrong?"
I smiled at him and said it was nothing.
Then I turned around and walked ahead alone, my mind still on Li Wei's phone call.
My intuition told me that there was something wrong with Li Wei's sudden return home.
Did something happen in her family?
