Chapter 55: The 29th Day of Dating, Waking Up the Next Morning...
Chapter 55: The Twenty-Nineth Day of Their Romance. Waking up the next morning...
The next morning, Wu Yunxi, who had woken up later than Quan Ji-yong, slapped Quan Ji-yong hard to express her displeasure. Quan Ji-yong stood obediently for Wu Yunxi to pat him, but didn't say anything about not doing it again.
Wu Yunxi knew Quan Ji-yong was doing it on purpose, so after the photo was taken, she smiled and forgave him. Who could have let her fall for it?
"Oppa, I'm hungry."
After playing around, Wu Yunxi finally noticed her hungry stomach and thought of taking care of it. Quan Ji-yong had prepared everything early. Shortly after waking up, he came down to bring Wu Yunxi some food. He had originally intended to wake her up to eat something, but Wu Yunxi had just woken up.
"Breakfast is on the table. Yunxi, just wash up and you can eat."
"Yes~"
Despite being abroad, the two of them still used their familiar language to communicate. Especially when Wu Yunxi just woke up and responded to Quan Zhiyong's words obediently, Quan Zhiyong thought it was super cute.
Quan Zhiyong had already washed up early,
so he stood by and watched as Wu Yunxi washed up. After watching Wu Yunxi wash up and wipe the water off her face, Quan Zhiyong turned around and glanced at Quan Zhiyong, who had been standing by her side the entire time.
"Oppa?"
Wu Yunxi noticed Quan Zhiyong's serious look at her. Even though it was a very ordinary thing, she felt shy when Quan Zhiyong looked at her like that.
Quan Zhiyong didn't say anything. After Wu Yunxi finished washing up, he reached out and took her hand and walked outside.
Breakfast was a sandwich, which Quan Zhiyong chose from the breakfast menu and was considered relatively normal. This is because the local cuisine is characterized by putting a lot of cheese and chili in the dishes, and it just so happens that neither Quan Zhiyong nor Wu Yunxi likes these two things. At least the amount wasn't lethal, but here, there were tons of them. For someone like Quan Zhilong who needs to control his diet, it was truly unacceptable.
However, the hotel also took into consideration that tourists might not readily adapt to local culinary habits, so they included some alternative dishes, allowing Quan Zhilong to choose something more normal.
Wu Yunxi didn't mind her breakfast; she picked up one of the sandwiches and slowly began to eat. After finishing her meal, Quan Zhilong called room service, and after clearing away the items, Quan Zhilong and Wu Yunxi changed clothes before heading out.
Since they were here to enjoy life, they planned to wander aimlessly today and then visit a local museum in the afternoon. This was a place recommended in travel guides.
They randomly chose a restaurant for lunch, and after a quick bite, they packed up and prepared to visit the National Museum. Arriving at the entrance, Wu Yunxi noticed a sign above the door that offered some information about the museum.
The Bhutan National Museum, originally the Paro Dzong watchtower, was built in 1649 and primarily used for military defense and observation. In 1968, the Bhutanese government converted it into a national museum to showcase Bhutanese culture and history.
The museum building itself is a relic, with walls two and a half meters thick, embodying the typical traditional Bhutanese architectural style. The museum consists of six floors, each showcasing a diverse collection of artifacts and artworks, including religious objects, ancient pottery, jewelry, textiles, Buddhist masks, statues, and historical Bhutanese stamps.
After standing at the entrance and observing the introduction for a while, the two walked inside hand in hand. After purchasing their tickets, they were able to enter without a hitch. The museum wasn't crowded at the time, and Wu Yunxi and Quan Zhiyong were immediately struck by the rich cultural atmosphere. Wu Yunxi truly enjoys visiting museums, even if she doesn't understand anything, just to explore and experience the experience.
Quan Zhiyong, however, was more attuned to such an environment than Wu Yunxi, although he rarely visited such places.
As they wandered the museum, the two of them took their time and took their time to browse. Many of the items had brief introductions, and while there were staff members available to offer guidance, Wu Yunxi and Quan Jiyong declined, preferring to simply wander around.
Despite declining the staff's offers, Quan Jiyong and Wu Yunxi still occasionally glanced at the introductions as they wandered. To ensure the visitors could understand, most of the information was in English. When they came across an interesting or captivating exhibit, Wu Yunxi would whisper to Quan Jiyong.
Although the museum wasn't crowded, Wu Yunxi felt it was inappropriate to speak too loudly in such a crowded environment.
For convenience, the two of them took the elevator to the sixth floor and began to explore slowly, going down floor by floor until they had basically finished their visit. They hadn't noticed the time passing by the time they left the museum. By the time they left, over three hours had passed, and the sky outside was slowly changing. The sun was about to set, and Wu Yunxi glanced at Quan Jiyong. The two of them decided to take a car back to the hotel for dinner.
After three days in Bhutan, Wu Yunxi and Quan Jiyong checked the time and decided their trip was over for now. Quan Jiyong had to return to rehearse for the year-end performance, but they had agreed to spend the Lunar New Year together.
However, before the Lunar New Year, Quan Jiyong had to pay a formal visit to Wu Yunxi's parents. This had happened quite a while ago, and Wu Yunxi had already officially visited Quan Jiyong's home, so no matter how you looked at it, it was time to go.
So, after a day of rest, the two returned to Seoul. Quan Jiyong went straight to the company to rehearse for the year-end performance with his teammates Taeyang and Daesung. After two or three days of practice, Quan Jiyong finally had some time to visit Wu Yunxi's home.
Wu Yunxi had already told her parents about this beforehand. However, because Quan Jiyong didn't know the address, Wu Yunxi and Quan Jiyong went together that day.
Along the way, Wu Yunxi watched Quan Zhiyong, dressed in formal attire, his hands slightly tense as he drove. While his face didn't show any particular expression, Wu Yunxi, familiar with Quan Zhiyong, could tell he was nervous.
"Oppa, haven't we already met? Why are you so nervous?"
Wu Yunxi said this with a hint of sarcasm. Wu Yunxi saw Quan Zhiyong couldn't look at her because he was driving, but she could clearly sense Quan Zhiyong's frustration.
When the light turned red, Quan Zhiyong couldn't help but turn around and kiss Wu Yunxi before continuing on with a grin.
"I'm not nervous anymore now."
Wu Yunxi, taken aback by the surprise attack, paused, then smiled again.
"Yeah, Oppa, do your best."
With Wu Yunxi's blessing, Quan Zhiyong performed well, which pleased Wu Yunxi's mother, who was already pleased with Quan Zhiyong even more. However, Wu Yunxi's father was a little upset. Although Quan Zhiyong was kind to Wu Yunxi in every way, he felt that his daughter had grown up and was no longer his.
So after Wu Yunxi left home, Wu's mother lectured Wu's father. However, the two people who had already left home were unaware of these things.
After successfully meeting his parents, Quan Zhilong couldn't hide his smile on the way back, and he didn't want to hide it. However, such photos were taken by reporters. Combined with the photos of Wu Yunxi's visit to the villa last time, the news of Quan Zhilong and his girlfriend meeting each other's parents was seen by the public.
Wu Yunxi hadn't expected the media to pay so much attention to them, even following them for such a long time, just for this one piece of news. But considering Kwon Ji-yong's recent popularity, she felt it was par for the course. Neither of them responded online, a common practice among entertainment companies. Without a response, the hype would slowly fade.
Kwon Ji-yong took a look at the fans' reactions, and since there weren't any particularly extreme comments, he didn't pay much attention.
Now it was better to focus on preparing for the year-end performance. As for when and if they would get married, these matters were something they could discuss between the two of them and their families, and then officially announce it.
While Kwon Ji-yong was preparing for the year-end performance, Wu Yunxi would occasionally send him food, but she didn't really bother him much. She even went shopping with her parents to prepare for the Lunar New Year.
Kwon Da-mi would sometimes message Wu Yunxi, asking them to go shopping and get beauty treatments together. When Kwon Ji-yong saw photos of his sister shopping with his girlfriend online, he felt like his girlfriend didn't care about him anymore. So that night, after Quan Zhilong finished work, he went home and complained about Wu Yunxi's "indifference and ruthlessness", and finally succeeded in getting his compensation.
Only when Wu Yunxi woke up in the morning, she felt that she had really lost a lot last night. After being fooled by Quan Zhilong's few words, she made a losing deal, which not only made her unable to get up this morning, but also had to deliver love lunch to others at noon.
But what she didn't know was that Quan Zhilong, who went to the company early in the morning, was so proud that when he saw Taiyang and Dasheng were there, he didn't even try to hide his smile, but he didn't say what it was. He just waited for Dasheng to ask him, and then he smiled and said it with a show-off.
"Yunxi said she would deliver love lunch to me at noon."
