Chapter 5: Ilan's Wildness 2

He stopped under a towering tree. We sat down to rest. I couldn't help but tease Yilan, who was panting but pretending to be calm. Diamond-like beads of sweat slowly slid down his forehead, like a meteor across the sky, crystal clear, tempting me to reach out and catch it because I couldn't bear to see it fall like this.
Yilan looked at me blankly, as if he didn't understand why I was so curious about his sweat.
"Are you very tired?" I smiled and fanned the sweaty Yilan with my hands to cool her down.
"Are you blaming yourself for being too fat ?" Yilan said with a wicked smile, a gleam in his shrewd wolf eyes.
"You are too fat! I am a young and beautiful girl with a well-proportioned figure!" I yelled in anger.
Yilan is so unlovable. Can he speak? He is a fat guy!
"If I'm not fat, why would I be tired?" Yilan raised his eyebrows and circled me between the tree trunk and him.
The warm breath was mixed with a faint smell of sweat. It did not have the mint scent of Ino. Yilan's body odor was the kind of sea salt scent that only belonged to boys, and it had a domineering feel.
"Alright!" I was so dazed by Yilan's charm that I could only take a deep breath and push him away. "You guys smell terrible."
"Smelly?"
Yilan frowned tightly, grabbed the collar and sniffed it.
"Yes! Sit tight!" I pushed Yilan to the ground. If he continued to seduce me, I would probably surrender.
A firefly flew towards us, flashing and twinkling, like a little elf dancing with a lantern.

With a whoosh, Yilan grabbed the firefly in the palm of her hand.
"You reckless bug, it's your good fortune to die in the hands of this wolf king." Yilan sneered sinisterly and slowly tightened his fists.
"Why!"
I immediately grabbed Yilan's wrist and stopped his "violence".
I pried open Yilan's hands and saw that the firefly was already dying, lying in the palm of Yilan's hand, and even its fluorescence was dim.
Yilan looked at me in confusion, frowning, as if blaming me for paying so much attention to a bug.
"Don't you know? Every firefly is an angel sent by God to the human world. It is said that as long as you make a wish to a firefly, it will bring your wish to God . The brighter the light emitted by the firefly, the faster your wish will come true!" I said to Yilan.
Every life deserves to be respected, right?
"You humans are so ignorant!" Yilan rolled her eyes at me and sneered at my words.
"Yes, you wolves are intelligent. Why don't you go find a female wolf? Why are you bothering an ignorant human like me?" I growled in dissatisfaction when I heard that.
I really hate these holy beasts who discriminate against humans at every turn!
I don’t know when it started, but I gradually accepted and even determined that they were the sacred beasts in that photo album.
I raised my head proudly, not looking at Yilan's helpless expression. Who swore that I was worthy of his life?
I saw Yilan's eyes rolling and a sly smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.
"Angel, angel, my wish is that the princess in front of me will always be happy and youthful, and not always angry like an old woman!"
"You're the old woman !"
I couldn't bear it anymore, so I pulled out a handful of weeds and threw them directly at Yilan.
Humph, this guy really deserves a beating. Is there anyone who coaxes a girl like this? Is there anyone who makes a wish like this?
"Haha! Okay, my princess, I'm ignorant, okay?"
Yilan looked at me with laughter. This was the first time I saw him laugh so genuinely!
The dying firefly slowly recovered in Yilan's palm, and its fluorescence became brighter and brighter.
I couldn't help but blow gently at it, and the firefly suddenly emitted an unprecedented bright light, dancing gracefully and flying into the sky.
"What a beauty!"
I looked at the fireflies and couldn't help but sigh.
The fireflies twinkled and disappeared into the starry sky. Perhaps every star in the sky is a firefly carrying a wish, and the shining stars are the blessings of the gods to the world.
After coming to her senses, Yilan looked at me.

Looking into his eyes, a very poetic sentence suddenly flashed in my mind - you are watching the scenery on the bridge, and the people watching the scenery are watching you upstairs. Maybe in his eyes, I am the most beautiful scenery!
"You are so beautiful. You are the kindest angel I have ever seen." Yilan said affectionately, slowly approaching me.
My eyes widened in surprise, not knowing how to react.
Somehow, a large group of fireflies flew towards us, like a meteor shower, or more like brilliant fireworks, lighting up the night sky in an instant.
I couldn't help but laugh. It was the first time I saw so many fireflies!
I stood up and danced slowly along with the fireflies. The fireflies were like elves guarding me, blooming their brightest light just to make me smile more happily.
Seeing Yilan looking at these inopportune fireflies with an expressionless face, I smiled secretly, reached out and scooped up a handful of fireflies, exhaled, and blew them all towards Yilan.
"A-choo..."
Probably due to an allergy to the fluorescent powder on fireflies, Yilan sneezed and the tip of her nose instantly became red and swollen.
"Pfft!" I couldn't help but laugh out loud. "Haha, so you have weaknesses too! Humph, I told you I looked like an old woman, and now you've turned into a red-nosed grandfather! Hahaha!"
I laughed without caring about my image and rolled around on the ground.
"Go away, you bunch of bugs! Achoo... Damn it... Achoo..." Yilan waved her hands angrily to drive away the fireflies, but she still couldn't resist her allergic nose and kept sneezing.
"Hehe! I didn't expect that our Lord Wolf King, who can fly high and low, would be defeated by a few fireflies!" I said provocatively. It's not that I have no conscience, but Yilan's current appearance is really funny and makes people want to laugh.
"Damn human..." Yilan narrowed his eyes and looked at me, then pounced on me and pushed me to the ground.
"Yilan, what are you doing? Let me tell you, in our world, killing is against the law!" I pretended to be calm and met Yilan's gaze. Even if he was really a sacred beast, he had to abide by the rules of the human world.
"Do you think I'm a good citizen who abides by the law?" Yilan asked me with a sly smile.
"Uh..." I swallowed unconsciously and could only beg for mercy immediately, "Woo woo, Lord Wolf King, please spare my life! My life is worthless and it is not worth it for you to end it yourself!"
"Humph! Now you know how to beg for mercy. Where is your arrogance just now?" Yilan questioned, "For a witch as evil as you, it seems that this Wolf King has to teach you a lesson personally!"
What?
Without giving me a chance to struggle, Yilan's thin lips instantly pressed against mine. I was caught off guard and involuntarily gasped.
What should I do? How did things turn out like this?
I'm sorry Ino...
