Chapter 4: Qiankun Dragon-Seeking Mirror

Looking at my departing back, the always cold woman slowly spoke: "Master Qian, if that bronze mirror is still there, how confident are you?"
The middle-aged man with baby fat immediately said respectfully: "Miss, if I had that bronze mirror, I would be able to get the sixth level. But this young man's cultivation is obviously higher than mine."
"You don't have to worry about this, just go back and prepare." The cold woman raised the corner of her mouth slightly.
This was just an episode for me. I returned to the house, took out the bronze mirror, and wiped it slowly and carefully with a cloth.
Half an hour later, the bronze mirror finally looked brand new, and my eyes lit up again.
On the back of the bronze mirror were four large characters with an ancient flavor: Qiankun Xunlong. There were three small characters in the lower right corner. Look carefully: Xu Zhouzi.
This Xu Zhouzi is a legendary master of Taoism. I didn't expect that I would get it by accident today. I really picked up a treasure.
He tried to infuse spiritual power into the bronze mirror. The surface of the bronze mirror trembled, and after a moment, a red dragon as long as a chopstick slowly floated up on the mirror.
The little red dragon slowly opened its eyes and glanced at me lazily, then stretched out its little paws, curled up, and actually took a nap.
After just a moment, I felt a sense of emptiness in my body. My spiritual power was drained away almost instantly.
I let go of the Qiankun Dragon Mirror and fell directly onto the chair. I wondered how I could only be a second-grade cultivator. I could control even a mid-level magic weapon. The Qiankun Dragon Mirror seemed to be at least a high-level magic weapon.
Looking at the mirror again, the tiny crack seemed to have shortened a little. It seemed that this Qiankun Dragon-Seeking Mirror was not uncontrollable, but required spiritual power to repair.

I have to go to the county magistrate's house tonight. Naturally, I can't input more spiritual energy. I put away the Qiankun Dragon-Seeking Mirror and began to practice cross-leggedly.
It was getting dark quickly.
My second uncle called: "Ni Ge, I'm at the door."
I hung up the phone and went out, only to see a middle-aged man in his thirties standing next to my second uncle.
"Ni Ge, this is County Magistrate Li." My second uncle hurriedly introduced.
County Magistrate Li was not arrogant. Instead, he extended his hand respectfully and said, "Master, thank you so much for helping my useless son."
I smiled and shook the county magistrate's hand and said, "County Magistrate Li, you are too polite. I am just a junior. Don't call me master or not. I will call you elder brother."
County Magistrate Li shook his hand vigorously, and then said, "Brother, I won't say anything more . I will definitely reward you handsomely when this matter is over."
Back to County Magistrate Li's room. There were two roosters flapping their wings on the floor in the living room. The brazier was ready, except for a fire.
I put the brazier at the door. I asked the county chief to wait here with a lighter. I used red ropes to make a noose along the chest of the two roosters and put it around the necks of the chickens. The other end was fixed to the sofa on one side.
The county magistrate's wife stood in the middle of the living room holding a lantern. The dim light made the living room seem a little dim.
The bell of twelve arrived as promised.
Bang, bang, bang! Bang, bang, bang! Immediately, there was a rapid knock on the door.
The county magistrate's face changed as he stood at the door, and he couldn't help shaking as he held the lighter.
After a while, the knocking sound stopped, but Baofu on the second floor let out a heart-wrenching roar. Then there was the sound of something being knocked over.
I sat on the sofa and signaled to County Magistrate Li to light the brazier.
"Wait a minute, no matter what happens, don't move." After standing up and giving instructions, he went straight to the second floor.
When I opened the door, I saw Li Baofu screaming and curled up in the corner, his hands stretched out like a fighting cat. He bared his teeth and purred at me.
I took out the red string and neatly wrapped it around my index and middle fingers. I took a step forward and pointed at Li Baofu, shouting angrily, "Evildoer, you dare to come here to fight cholera, why don't you leave!"
At my shout, Li Baofu suddenly screamed. The sound was like the shrill cry of a night owl. He made claws with both hands and rushed towards my fingers.
But I heard a crackling sound, and the moment it touched my fingers, it felt like I was electrocuted and my whole body started shaking.
I took it one step further and tapped Li Baofu's forehead hard with my finger.
Swoosh! A brown figure suddenly appeared from behind Li Baofu's neck and disappeared downstairs.
Li Baofu was lying on the ground. It seemed that there was no problem. I turned around and went downstairs.
In the living room, the county magistrate and his wife and my second uncle stared with their eyes wide open and trembled all over, but they dared not move.
A brown figure was running back and forth between the county magistrate's wife and the county magistrate.
I picked up the two chickens and threw them over. I sat on the sofa holding the other end of the rope like I was fishing.
The two roosters, which were originally very energetic, began to tremble all over as soon as they were thrown out, and lay on the ground without daring to move.
The brown figure also suddenly stopped at this moment.
Only then did I see clearly that this guy had extremely shiny yellow-brown hair. He was the size of a big cat. He had a thick tail and a pointed mouth. His bean-shaped eyes were black and shiny and darted around.
It was indeed a weasel. The corners of my mouth curled up slightly, but I still held one end of the red rope in silence.
The weasel circled the two roosters twice, raised its body, and looked around with its paws in front of its eyes in a very humane way. Finally, it couldn't help it and tried to bite the neck of one of the roosters.
The rooster didn't even have time to wail before it started kicking its legs.
The weasel drank the chicken blood vigorously, and looked at the other rooster with an unsatisfied look, and without hesitation, bit it again. Half of its body was intertwined with the rooster.

Right now. I suddenly pulled up the red rope, and the noose on the rooster was instantly put around the weasel's neck. With another push, the weasel was in my hand.
Hum! Hum! It was too late for the weasel to react. It put its paws on its chest and clenched its fists like a human, looking at me pitifully, begging for mercy.
"Evil beast, considering it is not easy for you to cultivate spiritual wisdom, I will not punish you for the time being. Tell me where is the wandering soul of the host?"
Chirp, chirp, chirp! The weasel listened to what I said and called out in cooperation, pointing its finger toward the door.
"County Magistrate Li, open the door."
County Magistrate Li's calves were still broken and shaking, and he opened the door with trembling hands. But he screamed and sat down on the ground.
I saw a mouse the size of a kitten squatting at the door, looking pitifully at the house.
"This! Isn't this the rat we chased away three days ago?" the county magistrate's wife shouted, holding up a lantern.
"Sister, this is Baofu's wandering spirit. Call it quickly, don't scare it." I stared at the mouse and said slowly. When I first came here, I found a gloomy aura on the door. Then I found scratches at the bottom of the door. I thought it was done by a ghost, but now it seems to be this mouse.
Mother and child are connected by heart! When the county magistrate's wife heard me say this, she immediately cried out, "Baofu, Baofu, is it really you? Come in, your father and I know everything, and we won't beat you anymore."
The big rat stared at the wife of the county magistrate, looking a little scared. After a while, it approached the wife cautiously.
It was not until it walked to the feet of the county magistrate's wife that the big rat finally relaxed its vigilance and grabbed the county magistrate's wife's ankle and never let go.
I reached out and grabbed the rat, but I smelled a rotten smell. I couldn't help but frown and said quickly, "County Magistrate Li, quickly find seven red candles. I need to transfer my soul. It will be too late if you are late."
The county magistrate quickly agreed, took out his phone and dialed.
I held the weasel in one hand and the rat in the other, and took my second uncle and the county magistrate's wife back to the second floor. I put Baofu on the open space and then put the rat in my hand on Baofu's chest.
After two or three minutes of struggling, the red candles were brought over. The candles were lit according to the corresponding positions of the seven orifices.
I made hand gestures and chanted the magic spell.
"The world is vast, and souls are divided into three parts. The living soul is always here, while the dead soul is reincarnated. The wandering soul has not returned yet! Hurry up and obey the command!"
I reached out and quickly touched the mouse. The mouse suddenly became stiff, still looking like it had been dead for many days. The uniform black aura slowly condensed into the shape of Baofu in the air.
"There are seven bright lamps, and seven orifices leading to the way home. Wandering soul in heaven and earth, why don't you return home quickly?" I raised my magic finger and pointed at the wandering soul floating in the air again.
The wandering soul's eyes instantly became blurred. Its body once again turned into black air and followed the guidance of the seven candles to sink into Baofu's Baihui acupoint.
Li Baofu's face turned red for a moment. About two or three minutes later, Li Baofu slowly opened his eyes and watched the county magistrate's wife burst into tears.
I smiled slightly, and quietly went downstairs with my second uncle. This mother-son reunion scene was not going to be a lively one.
Ten minutes later, County Magistrate Li and his family of three also came down. Wiping tears, he said, "Master, you are our family's savior!" He said this and wanted to thank them.
I stood up and stopped him: "Just call me brother. I'm your second uncle's nephew, so there's no need to be too distant. Baofu's illness is cured, but he needs to think about how he provoked the weasel. Only after it's resolved will there be no trouble."
Baofu was still a little weak, so he slowly told the story.
It turned out that Li Baofu and his friends went to Wulong Mountain for fun that day. At that time, Baofu was in a hurry to pee, but because there were several young girls in the group, he had to find a secluded place.
Somehow, there was only one earthen nest hidden in the bare hilltop . When I approached it, I found that it was actually a big temple.
Li Baofu was anxious and angry at the time, so he untied his belt and felt relieved. Unexpectedly, the earthen nest collapsed in half .
Li Baofu didn't take it seriously at the time, but he had a dream at night after returning home. A weasel stood in front of him and asked him why he had demolished its home. When he woke up, he turned into a mouse.
