Chapter 4 Blue Pencil
As soon as he left the mole's ward and turned a corner, Zhang Dadao leaned against the wall. Wiping the nonexistent cold sweat from his head, Zhang Dadao rolled his eyes and muttered to himself in a very disgusted tone: "It's really troublesome to deceive children! After dealing with the childish guy, I have to deal with the precocious one. Fortunately, I am mentally ill! Otherwise, I will definitely become mentally ill!"
After Zhang Dadao finished saying this, he suddenly laughed silly, "Haha", and laughed for a long time, until a passing nurse walked towards him with a suspicious look on his face, Zhang Dadao regained his composure. After finally sending the nurse away, Zhang Dadao went upstairs. When he arrived in front of a ward, he tried the door and found that it was ajar, so he gently pushed the door open and walked into the room. As soon as he came in, Zhang Dadao squinted his eyes. The curtains in the ward were drawn tightly, and it was almost the same as at night.
It was only when Zhang Dadao opened the door that some light came in. It was rare to have such thick curtains in this ward. With the light coming in through the door, a small figure could be seen sitting in a corner of the room hugging his knees. Zhang Dadao closed the door and let the ward return to darkness, saying, "Did you close the window again? Did you see something bad again?"
A somewhat cold childish voice came from the darkness: "When I woke up in the morning, I was covered with red light, which was thicker than usual. Huh? There are two layers of light on your body, one is very red, and the other is very blue. It's really strange, only you are like this."
Zhang Dadao nodded indifferently, not caring whether the person talking to him in the dark could see him or not. After nodding, Zhang Dadao sat down and said, "You know, bad things are red and good things are blue, right? I can see some of it, but not as obvious as you. It turns out that there is blood on the forehead! You are right. Another person died in Building No. 3 this morning."
As if he had adapted to the darkness, Zhang Dadao could vaguely see the figure. Sitting in the corner with her knees hugged, was a girl in a dress. If the little mole was a little girl, the one in front of him should be called a big loli. The big loli held a colored pencil in her hand, her head buried in her arms, her hair draped over her shoulders. Because it was still too dark, she couldn't see her expression clearly.
The big lolita didn't say anything. Zhang Dadao rolled his eyes and could only say, "What did Fatty and the others say about your condition? Depression, right?" The big lolita nodded imperceptibly. Zhang Dadao didn't know if he saw it or not, but he started talking.
"It's really no use keeping you here. There aren't many good things happening in a place like a hospital. There are definitely more bad things than good things. You have a clairvoyant eye, and seeing these bad things all day long, it's impossible for you to be in a good mood! In your condition, you should live next door to the Civil Affairs Bureau!"
The big Lolita immediately said coldly: "Marriage is the grave of love, and the Civil Affairs Bureau is also in danger!"
Zhang Dadao was stunned, touched his chin, and admitted defeat helplessly: "Okay, you are right. But it doesn't matter, you will be discharged from the hospital anyway, and you are still young, so you have plenty of opportunities to find a suitable place to live."
The big loli nodded. Seeing that she was silent again, Zhang Dadao took the initiative to speak again with a hint of urgency: "What do you think about what I told you last time?" A rare hint of desire appeared in Zhang Dadao's eyes.
The big loli suddenly raised her head and looked at Zhang Dadao. After a long while, she spoke: "The blue color on your body is shaking? Why do you want this?"
Zhang Dadao pondered for a while and said, "Didn't I tell you last time that I was in need of a blue pen for drawing?"
The big loli said with a sigh, "If you are short of blue, just go to the pharmacy and find a bottle of blue potion. Besides, you told me last time that you wanted to use it to repair your desk lamp and use it as a bracket."
"Ah? Did I say that?" Zhang Dadao scratched his head, then said frankly: "Same, I'll draw a picture first and then fix the lamp! It's just a colored pencil, right? Will you give it to me? I'm so tired running back and forth!" Zhang Dadao said as he wiped his eyes.
The big loli suddenly crawled in front of Zhang Dadao and stared at him for a long time. Her dark eyes strangely reflected the light from nowhere in the darkness. Zhang Dadao looked at the big loli with dead eyes, without change in expression. The atmosphere was quite weird. The two looked at each other for a while, and then the big loli sighed.
"Forget it, I'll just give you one! You're still lying at this age! You must want to see more blue, right? My grandma only gave me two, I'll give you one!" The big loli said, and stuffed the colored pencil in her hand into Zhang Dadao's hand.
While Zhang Dadao was stunned, the big girl crawled back to the corner and sat down with her knees hugged, looking at the colored pencils in her hand. Zhang Dadao raised his eyebrows and said to the big girl, "Okay, you will be discharged soon anyway, so I won't say more. Your grandma is a powerful person. You can see strange colors, so listen to her and don't tell others. Otherwise, you will be sent here again!"
"Hmph~" The big loli sniffed, and Zhang Dadao turned around and stood up to open the door. When he was about to go out, he suddenly turned around and said, "Go get some sun when you have time. You're so pale that you can't see any blood."
After saying that, without caring about the big loli's reaction, he stuck the pencil into his ears and walked out of the rehabilitation center humming a song: "I'm a big thief, I'm not afraid of anything. I'm not afraid, I'm schizophrenic, I'm not afraid of anything..." The messy songs were mixed together, coupled with Zhang Dadao's tone-deaf voice, it sounded even more weird.
A nurse who passed by and heard this almost threw the medicine in her hand. The nurse glared at Zhang Dadao angrily. Zhang Dadao stroked the pencil stuck in his ear, rolled his eyes and muttered: "Light pink? This nurse is about to have bad luck! Well, it seems that her boyfriend is going to cheat on her! I thought it was weird when I saw him having peach blossom red before. His relationship is peach blossom disaster."
Zhang Dadao happily left the rehabilitation building and headed back to Building No. 3. He came back just in time for lunch and ate the lunch brought by the nurse. Zhang Dadao chewed an apple while playing with the blue colored pencil, muttering, "Little Pencil's grandmother is an expert!"
Just as he was muttering, Su Jinjin came in from the door again, sat down next to Zhang Dadao with a worried look on her face, and whispered mysteriously: "You said this place is not conducive to romance, would it be better if I were transferred to the outpatient department?"
Zhang Dadao was stunned, looked at him and said, "Do you really believe it? I just said it casually."
Su Jinjin nodded seriously and said, "I think it makes sense. I just asked, the young doctors and nurses here are all single, and the married doctors were married in other hospitals before being transferred here. Even so, many of them got divorced after being transferred here!"
Zhang Dadao smiled and said, "You are stupid! There are only a few young people like you. If you go on a blind date and tell the girl that you work in a mental hospital, will she be interested in you? It's not surprising that you get divorced. The divorce rate is over 50% now, not to mention that the work pressure in this damn place is so great. Hurry up and get out of here. It's bad luck to see you!"
Su Jinjin was driven away by Zhang Dadao while he was mumbling. Zhang Dadao looked at his back and said, "Sure enough, I was right. This guy's body is also strangely red. That guy must be in trouble!"
"Who's going to get into trouble?" The sudden voice from behind made Zhang Dadao shiver suddenly.
