Chapter 34 Innocence
Chapter 34
The door of Innocence was knocked, and what Selsi and Aurelia saw at the same time was the panicked Saint.
The permission of the lounge door was set to only the Archbishop, and even the Saint could not open it.
The Saint's clothes were hanging crookedly on her body, no longer neat and tidy as before.
"What's wrong with you?"
Selsi asked with concern.
"I just went to the secretariat in the library and was discovered by the guards, but now the point is that I found a way to help you."
Alia looked at Aurelia.
"How to do it."
Compared with Aurelia, Selsi was more anxious.
"This is the way, but it depends on whether you are willing..."
"Saint, please come with us."
A strong voice interrupted the conversation between Alia and Selsi. Fortunately, they had finished the key points.
Two guards stood beside the Saint and took her to the confinement room.
"I will go to receive the punishment. Before that, I apply to see the Bishop."
Alia regained the dignity and momentum that a Saint should have.
"The Bishop is busy catching demons now and has no time,"
a guard explained.
"This is an order."
Arya's attitude was firm.
The two guards looked at each other. Although they made a mistake, she was a saint after all, and her official position was higher than theirs, so they compromised after all.
Anyway, if they were to be punished, the saint would definitely be the first to bear the brunt.
Lisandra was patrolling around the church, and she felt the breath of the devil nearby.
Aurelia was hiding in the shadow under the lamp not far away. There was a shadow under the light in the lounge, and she teleported into the shadow outside through this shadow.
The priests could not always use the power of light on a large scale, and there was a haze in the subtle places. This made it convenient for Aurelia to hide.
Seeing the saint being escorted to her, Lisandra asked, "Didn't I tell you to go and receive the punishment? Why were you detained?"
Turning around, she questioned the guard again: "If you make a mistake, go to the punishment room. Why are you coming to me?"
The saint had long regained her usual calmness, and replied neither servilely nor arrogantly, "I asked to see you, and I can prove it."
She answered the previous question.
"Oh? How do you prove it?" Lisandra frowned. This was a serious topic and no jokes were allowed.
"Then please ask the bishop to follow me."
Alia motioned for the bishop to follow her. The bishop followed with his hands behind his back. The two guards hesitated whether to follow. By the time they thought about it, the two had already gone far away.
Aurelia was not as procrastinating as them. She hid in the shadows and followed early.
The saint brought the bishop to the door of the lounge.
Through the window, Selsi saw the confrontation between the heads outside and thought of what happened just now.
"There is a spell called 'Eye for Eye'. The caster can share what he sees with the castee through the spell, and I need your natural power to assist me in supporting this spell."
"What price will you pay?"
Selsi keenly realized that since it was a secret spell, there would definitely be sacrifices.
The girl was stunned for a moment, but finally told him everything.
"The price is that after sharing, the caster will be blinded for a period of time. Sharing for 1 minute is equivalent to blindness for a year."
Aurelia was stunned for a moment when she heard this, and bowed solemnly to Arya at 90 degrees, "Thank you for your help, Saint. I am very grateful."
In the face of Aurelia's gratitude, Arya just waved her hand, "I am just doing my job."
Selsi's attention returned to the present, and she looked at Arya from the window, and she plucked her strings.
As the melodious piano sounded, Arya also cast a spell.
The green and golden light intersected and imprinted on the Saint and the Bishop. When Lisandra opened her eyes again, she saw a golden soul, and behind it was a pure white soul. There was a purple-black fog surging around the soul. The invading fog was instantly soothed by the green.
This "eye for eye" did not last long. When Lisandra closed her eyes and opened them again, the world returned to normal, and she saw Aurelia appearing behind the Saint.
Silence is still silence.
Aurelia was tense, ready to attack if Lisandra still insisted.
"Sorry." Lisandra's apology broke the silence, "I misunderstood before."
She turned to the Saint and said, "You still have to prove it to the entire Elders Council."
The Saint nodded slightly, "I will."
Aurelia did not soften her attitude, "Just an apology is all? Then what about the injuries I suffered before?"
Lisandra pursed her lips, "How do you want to settle it?"
Aurelia smiled with her head down, and then looked up again, her eyes were full of fierceness,
"You said it."
Before everyone could react, Aurelia flashed in front of Lisandra and kicked Lisandra to a distant pillar. The pillar was cracked from top to bottom by the sudden impact, supporting the ceiling precariously.
Lisandra covered her chest with trembling hands, and blood gushed out of her mouth violently.
The Saint was frightened by this sudden change. Seeing the blood of the Bishop still gushing out, the bright red stimulated her to react. She quickly ran to her Bishop and cast a light spell to stop the bleeding.
Aurelia stood there and sneered. She had attached a thick shadow power to the kick just now. If she could be cured so easily, she could go back to practice again.
Seeing the Saint casting spells in a hurry, Aurelia took two steps forward, "She won't die. At most, let her rest for a few years."
Her voice was still so cold.
What she didn't finish was that this kick almost eroded most of Lisandra's magic power. Her veins were blocked by magic energy, and she would be no different from ordinary people in the future.
Looking at the Saint's pale face, Lisandra patted her hands, indicating that she should not continue to waste her mental power. The Saint had to stop and looked at her with a worried look.
"It seems that you still have strength. Why don't you untie my friend's confinement first." Aurelia clasped her hands and pointed to the door next to her with her head.
Lisandra seemed to want to say something, but the blood rushing up could only make her cough. She raised her right hand with difficulty and pointed at the closed door. With a click, the door opened.
This action seemed to have consumed all of Lisandra's strength. Her hand suddenly fell down and she fainted.
The saint was so frightened that her face completely lost color and she looked at Cersei for help.
As soon as Cersei came out, she was hugged by Aurelia. She saw Alia's look for help and tried to move her body, but Aurelia hugged her tighter. She had no choice but to say to the saint, "Go find someone first."
Alia was awakened from a dream when she heard this and ran to call for help.
Aurelia and
Celsi Aurelia held Celsi without saying anything, and Celsi didn't say
anything either. They just held her until the people called by the Saint arrived. The priests who came had heard the Saint's explanation on the way. Although they didn't believe it, the Saint's order had been given. With the bishop unconscious, the Saint's order was the most important, and they couldn't disobey it. They had to look at Aurelia vigilantly and angrily, and quickly moved the bishop away.
Celsi also patted Aurelia's back, signaling her to stop.
Aurelia reluctantly let go of Celsi. She was really scared and almost lost her.
"I didn't protect you well." Aurelia was a little depressed, and Celsi finally softened her heart when she saw her like this. She patted Aurelia's head and said, "I want to leave. The Saint will come to me when she needs me." She knew Aurelia didn't like it here.
Aurelia knew what the other party meant, and held Celsi's hand tightly with her fingers interlocked, "Let's go back to the hotel."
Things went against their wishes. When they arrived at the temple gate, they were stopped.
"The Saint and the elders understand that you are tired and have arranged accommodation for you in the temple. Please rest before leaving."
This is a soft surveillance of Aurelia and also to keep Selsie.
The two had no objection. They knew that everything would be fine soon.
When Lisandra woke up, the morning sun shone through the window.
Hearing that the two had left, Lisandra lay on the bed and looked out the window silently.
