Chapter 32 Confrontation
Chapter 32 Confrontation
"Miss, forgive me for being blunt, but your friend is the incarnation of the devil."
Lisandra directly stated her purpose, "I hope you can hand her over to me."
"I have seen her true face. She is not a devil. She just looks different from ordinary people."
Selsi could not hand over her lover. "She has never done anything harmful to the world. How can you convict her based on her appearance? Is your church biased?"
"The Bible says that high-level demons will transform into human form and seduce humans. Their magic power cannot be completely restrained, so they have black hair. The blood of killing flowing in their bodies will be reflected from their eyes."
Lisandra paused, waiting for Selsi to think.
Without waiting for an answer, she pursued the victory: "Your friend is a devil who harms the world. Hand her over to us, and the church will protect your peace."
Lisandra continued to launch an offensive, and Selsi did not give in.
"You have been completely brainwashed by her."
Lisandra shook her head with pity. She stopped pressing Sersi, and her attitude caused Sersi to feel uncomfortable and in danger.
Sersi subconsciously wanted to distance herself from her, but her consciousness became blurred just after she took half a step.
Sersi, whose consciousness was dissipating, fell straight down, and was caught by Lisandra without making any sound.
"Excuse me."
Lisandra apologized to the unconscious Sersi, "I will help you get rid of the control of the devil."
Regardless of whether Sersi had promised him, she cast a teleportation array and left the church.
Aurelia watched the sun move outside for too long, something was wrong.
She rushed into the church in a hurry. The lobby was empty, with only a note written by Lisandra, "Come to the back forest of the church."
Orinde is the headquarters of the church, where the senior staff of the church gathered, and they were all high-level light mages. Aurelia didn't expect that this old woman would go against her own teachings and threaten hostages in order to eliminate her.
This was a conspiracy specifically targeting her, but she had to go.
When Selsi woke up, she found herself lying on the bed. She looked around vigilantly. The room she was in was neither big nor small, and it had everything it should have. The whole room was decorated in a holy and warm manner.
"You're awake."
A gentle female voice made Selsi look outside the door. Below the door was the food delivery port, and above was a piece of transparent glass. Behind the glass was a blonde woman, her eyes were wrapped in white cloth strips, and golden runes were written on the cloth strips.
"Miss Saint, may I ask what you mean?" The woman outside the door was exactly the same as the description of the Saint in the rumors. Selsi easily judged her identity. For this person who was not the culprit, Selsi tried her best to be polite even if she was very angry.
"Master, please rest here for a while." The Saint's voice was calm.
"The Archbishop of the Church of Light is playing kidnapping."
Selsi smiled and agreed, but there was no smile on her face.
"The Bishop will help you exorcise the evil spirit later." The Saint's voice was still calm.
"Heh, exorcism, does that mean killing her?"
Selsi looked disdainful, "You can see the good and evil of people, why don't you go and see if she is a devil!"
Selsi asked harshly. The saint's eyes have been blindfolded since birth. The purest eyes can see all the good and evil in the world through the inscriptions. It is clear that the saint can tell that Aurelia is not a devil just by letting her take a look, but the group of priests are stubborn.
"I know she is not a devil." The saint's tone remains unchanged.
"You know what's the use, doesn't your bishop still want to kill her?"
The saint's words did not soothe Selsi's anxiety.
Selsi's threatening attitude did not affect the saint, she still said calmly.
"I swear in the name of the God of Light, I will save her."
Selsi was stunned when she heard the saint swear in the name of the God of Light.
"Okay, you said it."
Selsi reacted quickly, "Then can you let me out now?" She asked.
"I'm afraid not." The saint coldly rejected her request, feeling the sun refracting through the glass window, "It's time for me to go on stage, please stay here for a while.
" After saying that, without looking at Selsy's reaction, she turned and headed for the forest behind the church.
