Chapter 3 Sir Bennett
Mr. Bennett passes through the stone door and is Mondstadt.
"Ouch, stop chasing me!" The boy with white hair and green eyes rolled and crawled to avoid the rotating arms of the giant humanoid machine. The goggles were crookedly tied to his head. His arms seemed to be dislocated, and he could not keep his arms from running. Droop in normal posture.
"Destroy them all -"
The huge mechanism suddenly stopped, its mechanical arms rested on the ground, and its one eye glowed red.
"Ahhhhhh..." the young adventurer screamed. Unfortunately, he tripped over a protruding stone on the road and fell to the ground. He sat on the ground, raised his arms to protect his face in fear, and closed his eyes.
"Boom -"
The black iron sword that came from nowhere was wrapped in flames and pierced the one-eyed eye the moment the cannonball was fired, and then exploded.
"Eh...Eh? That's amazing!" The young adventurer blinked in surprise as he looked at the burned-to-black ruins guard lying on the ground.
Should this be considered an unexpected surprise? Is he, Bennett, going to have good luck too?
"Bennet, the adventurer of Mondstadt?"
"Who are you? How do you know my name? Did you save me?" Upon hearing his name, Bennett turned to look in the direction of the sound. .
The strange boy with red hair and red eyes was sitting on the big rock, curiously comparing the familiar adventurer's license in his hand with the white-haired young adventurer sitting on the ground.
There is also the Fire God’s Eye on the young adventurer’s waist.
"I forgot to introduce myself, Arvid Amberlet. My current name is, you can also just call me Arvid." The boy-sized God of Fire said with a smile, and the bright smile diluted the sharpness between his eyebrows. You can't help but feel good about it.
"Hello, I'm Bennett, from the Benny Adventure Team!" Bennett sat cross-legged and scratched his head, "Arvid, are you an adventurer too?" Bennett asked.
"Adventurer? Of course, I am...an adventurer who has been to the Silent Sea." Phoenix was still a little uncomfortable with the new name, but he quickly changed the subject.
"Is your adventure team still short of people? I mean, what do you think of me?"
Bennett couldn't believe what he heard, pointing at himself, "You want to join my adventure team?"
"What's the matter? Isn't that right?" Phoenix asked with a smile.
"It's just that I'm a very unfortunate person. Everyone in Mondstadt said that as long as you walk in the opposite direction with Bennett, you will definitely find treasures." Bennett didn't want the kind-hearted person he finally met to be implicated because of him.
Especially since this is an adventurer who has been to the Sea of Ember. They are obviously about the same age.
The boy with red hair and red eyes suddenly came closer to Bennett. There was only a punch distance between the two faces. Bennett could even feel the boy's warm breath.
"What does that have to do with me? I am very strong. Whether I am a ruin guard or an abyss mage, luck is just the icing on the cake when it comes to strength!" Phoenix said with a smile as
he
faced the blushing young adventurer.
"Besides, maybe the misfortune you care about is to create an amazing miracle in the final chapter?"
Ersha
"At least for me, meeting you is the most unexpected thing after I wake up. What a miracle." The red-haired and red-eyed god of
the Three Killers
spoke frankly like a confession, and successfully defeated a certain young adventurer who had never been out of Mondstadt.
"So, Sir Bennett, no, Captain Bennett, lead your members to raise the flag to fate!"
KO!
"Then, if you encounter danger, no, you will definitely encounter danger. You must be careful. I am used to it, but you must pay attention to safety." Bennett warned seriously.
On the way, Phoenix noticed that Bennett seemed to be looking for something in him, so he asked without hesitation.
"When you saved me, that big sword wrapped in flames, you should also be the owner of the Eye of God." Bennett was a little hesitant. He looked around but couldn't find the Eye of God on the other person.
Phoenix blinked and joked, "Maybe I'm a god, so I don't need the Eyes of God?"
He was telling the truth, but most people would probably regard it as a joke. After all, who would believe in Nata's god? Mondstadt would appear so suddenly on the other side of the continent.
But Bennett is the clear exception.
"Really? Then I am the leader of Vulcan. It's incredible! By the way, what kind of food does the god like? Adventurer burger? Or Teyvat omelette? BBQ steak is also very good." Bennett shouted. He looked dizzy from too much wine and was already thinking about what he should entertain the gods with.
Phoenix was stunned for a moment, then laughed so hard that he was out of breath and even shed tears.
When he finally laughed enough, he clapped his hands and stretched out his hand to Bennett as a matter of course, "Do you mind showing me your Eye of God?"
"Ah, of course." Bennett hurriedly handed it over. Eye of God.
He was also a little confused as to why he would believe so easily a stranger who appeared out of nowhere and claimed to be the God of Fire.
That feeling was like the moment of ecstasy when a devout believer opened his eyes and suddenly discovered that God was right in front of him. It almost instantly broke down the psychological defenses and swept through the entire spiritual world like a flood.
Phoenix didn't know what Bennett was thinking. He lowered his head and carefully looked at the Eye of Fire God in his hand.
"Did you see anything?" Bennett asked curiously.
"Ah, she did a great job, much better than me, so I can rest assured." Phoenix was very happy. She was worthy of being the second-generation Vulcan he personally selected, and she was not dazzled by the power he left behind.
"Who is she? Can God's Eye see anything?" Bennett asked, with confusion on his face.
Phoenix smiled and threw the Eye of God to Bennett, and walked towards Mondstadt without looking back, "Who knows?"
"Ah, don't tell riddles." Bennett He quickly caught up with him.
In the distance, the voices of two people were heard.
"Is it okay for you to walk barefoot?"
"No, in fact, you are not stepping on the ground, there is fire element attached to it."
"So is there really no wind in the Jingji Sea?"
"You can't say that, it's just that the wind is not there. "Ah, Fire Slime
King, run!"
"No need, you want to hug them?"
"Eh? Really,
two of them ." People came to the door of Chenxi Winery, stood at the foot of the hillside and looked down, and could clearly see the village below. The breeze brings the fragrance of fine wine.
"Huh?" Phoenix suddenly stopped and looked at the winery.
The scent of pure water elves.
"What's wrong?" Bennett asked.
"No, it's nothing." Phoenix lowered his eyes, took a deep breath, showed a hearty smile again, and held Bennett's hand.
"Come on, Mondstadt is closing."
It's not the time yet, the shadows of the outside world haven't faded away yet, it's not the time to relax yet.
Otherwise [Ariel] might crawl out of the abyss and bite his neck off.
But, that is his dragon.
How could I not miss you.
He always remembered the unexplainable reality he saw when he took over the Heart of God. Across the barriers of the world, the unexplainable horror was staring at them.
Even his breathing couldn't help but slow down.
