Chapter 3 "Lip Gloss" and "Strawberry" 2
I sat at my writing desk, resting my chin on my hand and looking at the night sky with a silly smile on my face. The bright moon was high in the sky, and the stars were twinkling in the sky. Occasionally, a few clouds floated by like jellyfish, and when the breeze blew, they turned into dandelions and drifted in the vast starry sky.
The moon tonight was round and bright, bright enough to illuminate the distant mountain peaks. On the mountain peak stood a lone wolf, which leaped and flew toward my window.
Wow, although I have never seen a pack of wolves, my intuition tells me that this wolf is definitely the king of wolves.
The wolf king gradually transformed into a human form, his silhouette was outlined in the moonlight, and even his facial features gradually became clear.
I started searching in my mind, and the face that was finally matched was Ino!
Oh, I am really addicted. Even when I am appreciating the moon, I can see Ino's face.
No! It's not an illusion, it's real!
Oh my god! Am I seeing this right? Ino is really going to fly into my room!
No, it's not Ino, it's Yilan!
With a bang, Yilan flew into the room like a bat. I subconsciously stood up and stepped back, accidentally knocking over a chair in panic. But Yilan didn't give me a chance to escape. He flew towards me and finally trapped me in his arms.
"Damn human, what did that stupid dog do to you? Didn't I warn you to stay away from him? Why didn't you listen?" He pinched my chin, forcing me to look straight at him. His eyes flashed with a dazzling light, and his red pupils reflected my figure, making me think I was in a sea of fire.
"Yilan...Yilan, listen to me..."
I looked at Yilan tremblingly and spoke with difficulty. He was very scary now, as if he would eat me alive if he was not satisfied.
"What is there to say? I told you before, if you dare to get close to him again, I will bite your neck off..." Yilan shouted angrily, roughly pulling open the collar of my pajamas and biting my neck.
"Ah... Yilan, calm down. Do you know what you are doing... Ah! It hurts!"
I used my hands and feet to beat Yilan in front of me.
At that moment, he showed his sharp wolf fangs, like a vampire.
"Yilan, let me go..."
I pleaded weakly, feeling dizzy all over. The scene in front of me began to shake. I was just struggling in vain.
"Hmph! Wolves are indeed wolves, synonymous with greed and plunder!" A sinister voice suddenly sounded. I looked closely and saw Quint looking at Yilan with contempt.
I really wanted to yell, "What are you doing now? Don't you know that you can't barge into a girl's bedroom? You all jumped in from the window, are you flies?"
Quint's voice finally calmed down the furious Ilan. As soon as the wolf's claws loosened, I immediately moved away from Ilan and hid in the corner, crying in grievance, with tears as big as beans falling to the ground.
I always thought that Yilan was as unruly and mysterious as a lone wolf, but he also exuded an aura that made people want to pity him. But Yilan tonight made me scared, so scared that I wanted to escape from him forever.
"She originally belonged to me. I am enjoying the prey that belongs to me. Is this greedy plunder?" Yilan sneered as if it was a matter of course.
"She is? We are both sacred beasts, what makes you say she is yours? According to your thinking, her ancestors sealed us, so she should compensate us, so it is 'us', not 'you'." Quint said coldly, slowly approaching me, and took the coat on the bed and put it on me, "Are you happy to see her scared like this by you?"
Yilan then looked at me, the blood color in his eyes faded and became clear. He pushed Quint away rudely and hugged me in his arms with heartache.
"Xiao Qian, I'm sorry, did I hurt you? I'm sorry, I just care about you too much. When I thought about that stupid dog flirting with you today, I couldn't control my anger." Yilan stroked my hair gently and explained self-blamingly.
"Go away. I never want to see you again." I pushed Yilan to the ground with force. "You are just a wolf who only knows how to plunder. I don't want to see you again."
"Xiao Qian..." Yi Lan was frightened by me and looked at me with wide eyes, as if a layer of mist was coming out of his deep eyes.
"Let's leave first! She is too excited now. She won't listen to anything you say." Quint sighed helplessly, and then he pulled Yilan, who had been looking at me, out of the window and disappeared into the darkness.
I slowly stood up and stared blankly at the dark night sky outside the window. I don’t know when, the moon also hid in the thick clouds, as if it was frightened by the scene just now.
What happened to Yi Lan? Why did he suddenly become so terrifying? Before, no matter how domineering he was, his eyes were clear, but just now his eyes were full of murderous intent, like a soldier on the battlefield who had lost his mind and could not distinguish between friend and foe.
I subconsciously flipped through the photo album. Their conversation just now made me feel uneasy. What holy beasts, what seals? Could they really be "monsters" that ran out of the photo album?
Cold sweat slowly flowed down my forehead. The more I read the text description on the album, the more I felt that their appearance was inseparable from this album, and even inseparable from me.
Also, Quint just said that it was my ancestors who sealed them, so what is the relationship between me and the wizard in the album?
Confusion after confusion wrapped me up like bubbles, layer by layer. I suddenly had difficulty breathing, as if I had fallen into a freezing abyss. I didn't even have the ability to call for help. My body sank weakly and was eventually swallowed by the darkness.
