Chapter 29 The captured murderer

"There is a girl named Tang Zixin, six years old, whose birthday is March 1. The numbers 301 match." Yu Miaomiao said to Han Yun while looking at the reply on her phone, "I noticed when I looked at the medical records before that this girl seemed to have a pediatric brain tumor."
After listening to Yu Miaomiao's story, Han Yun opened the brochure of Hang Lung Properties in his hand and asked Su Mo: "Is Wang Lu going to buy a house?"
"I think she mentioned it before." Su Mo frowned and thought about it carefully, then said, "She said she looked at a few houses a while ago and was interested, but she hasn't bought it yet. I guess she doesn't have enough money on hand."
Han Yun put down the brochure, thought for a moment, and said, "Didn't Su Mo live here when he worked at the Beidu Morning News?"
"At that time, in order to make it convenient for work, she rented a house . Later, after she resigned, she gave up the house." Su Mo replied.
"Do you still remember the exact location of that house?" Han Yun asked thoughtfully.
"Remember." Su Mo nodded, very sure.
"Let's go over there and take a look." Han Yun said as he left the room and walked out the door, followed closely by Su Mo and Yu Miaomiao. The three of them ran downstairs and got in the car. Miaomiao drove while Su Mo showed the way.
If the father complained about his daughter's death and planned revenge, then the murderer planned for nearly three years before actually carrying out the revenge, and he should have known Dong Xing, Bai Jing, and Wang Lu very well. But the murderer is not from Beijing. If he has been in this city for a long time to monitor the three people, the first thing he needs to solve is housing.
According to the murderer's logic, he would most likely choose to live in the place where Wang Lu once rented, and he might also choose that place as the final location for the crime, thus putting a perfect end to the entire revenge plan.

The three of them didn't talk much along the way. After arriving at the place where Wang Lu had rented before, they parked the car outside the community and walked in. From a distance, Yu Miaomiao pointed at a taxi not far away and said, "That's the car that took Wang Lu away."
"It seems to be correct." Han Yun ran over there and said to Miaomiao, "Call Team Leader Li and tell him to bring people over."
"Okay." Yu Miaomiao stopped, took out her phone and called Li Tieyun.
"Which floor was the house that Wang Lu rented before on?" Han Yun asked Su Mo.
"Fourth floor, room 401." Su Mo answered breathlessly.
"You and Yu Miaomiao wait here for Team Leader Li to come and tell him the situation." After Han Yun finished speaking, he walked into the building alone, tiptoed to the fourth floor, stopped at room 401, squatted down, put his face against the door and listened to the sounds inside.
There was no sound in the room.
According to the logic of the previous two cases, Wang Lu was probably knocked unconscious and had not yet woken up, which also proved that Wang Lu's life was temporarily safe. But if the murderer realized that the police had found this place, he might give up his original plan and kill her directly. Thinking of this, Han Yun took out his mobile phone and sent a text message to Yu Miaomiao on WeChat, asking him to arrange everything with Li Tieyun outside the community before coming in, and never alert the enemy.
Han Yun waited upstairs for more than ten minutes, and Li Tieyun led the serious crime team upstairs. In the small corridor, more than a dozen policemen gathered, all of them were very careful and did not make any noise. Li Tieyun exchanged glances with Han Yun, and then used gestures to direct other policemen to the two sides of the security door. Professional locksmiths bent over and squatted under the door to study the door lock.
In order to prevent other residents from coming out, police officers were on guard upstairs and downstairs. After studying the situation, the professional locksmith gave Li Tieyun a thumbs up, meaning that there was no problem. At Li Tieyun's signal, the locksmith prepared the tools, counted one, two, three with his fingers, and then quickly opened the door. The moment the door opened, Li Tieyun and others rushed in instantly.
Han Yun followed closely. When he entered, Li Tieyun had already controlled the murderer, and Wang Lu was lying on the bed with her hands and feet tied, unaware of what was happening. The murderer looked to be about 40 years old, and his face was not fierce, but honest. After being subdued, he kept his eyes on Wang Lu on the bed. Han Yun noticed that there were a lot of gauze, modified wooden chairs, and various knives in the kitchen. They should be intended to be used on Wang Lu.
There was a huge photo hanging on the bed where Wang Lu was lying in the bedroom. The protagonist in the photo should be Tang Zixin, the daughter of the murderer. Li Tieyun did not ask the murderer anything at the scene. He just caught him and took him downstairs. The other two policemen called an ambulance, and Su Mo accompanied Wang Lu to the ambulance. Han Yun and Yu Miaomiao got into Li Tieyun 's car and went back to the police station.
"How did you guess that the murderer would bring Wang Lu here?" Li Tieyun, who was sitting in the co-pilot seat, said to Han Yun behind him.
"During the past two days of investigation, I have been trying to find out the murderer's logic and think about the whole thing from the murderer's perspective." Han Yun replied.
"The murderer's logic is just a blind cat catching a dead mouse." Although Han Yun found the murderer earlier, Li Tieyun was still disdainful: "We checked the road surveillance and found the taxi that Wang Lu got on. We have already tracked the murderer to the neighborhood where he lives, but you got there first."
"Captain Li, you can say whatever you want. I also told you when I first came to you that I'm not trying to compete with you for credit." Han Yun spread his hands helplessly.
After hearing Han Yun's words, Li Tieyun laughed twice, then patted his subordinate who was driving and said, "He wants to compete for my credit."
"You know, when our team leader Li was risking his life to catch criminals and making great achievements, you were hiding somewhere playing house." The subordinate who was driving also joked, "Young man, don't be too arrogant. Don't think you can become a detective just by solving a few simple cases."
Han Yun didn't say anything. After returning to the police station, the criminal was taken directly to the interrogation room, with Li Tieyun presiding over the trial, and Han Yun and Yu Miaomiao sitting on both sides. After the three sat down, Li Tieyun first gave the murderer a warning, knocking hard on the table and saying, "Name, tell me your name."
"Tang Feng." said the murderer who was sitting opposite the three people and was handcuffed and shackled.
"Why kidnap that woman?" Li Tieyun asked in a raised voice.
"I...I had lustful thoughts." Tang Feng lowered his head and looked at his legs: "I just thought...I thought that woman was pretty, so I tied her up and took her home."
"You still have lustful thoughts. I think you want to kill." Li Tieyun clenched his fist and slammed it on the table. Not only Tang Feng, but also Han Yun was shocked. "I warn you, don't fool me here. Tell me, why do you want to kill Dong Xing and Bai Jing?" Li Tieyun continued to ask.
