Chapter 247: Sitting and discussing the truth, showing extraordinary wisdom!
After listening to Linglong's description of the blood gang, Chen Jue's thoughts raced in his mind and he began to analyze it carefully and logically.
Thinking back to the time when Linglong had used a gun to break through Bai Ze's incredible mental energy barrier and left a wound on the other party, Chen Jue felt that the characteristics contained in this martial arts blood energy should also involve a concrete impact similar to the martial arts boxing intent on the spiritual level.
After all, the barrier formed by Bai Ze's spiritual rainbow light was extremely difficult to break through even with Chen Jue's fist and sword energy.
Linglong's physical explosive power was obviously much weaker than Chen Jue's. The reason why she was able to stab Bai Ze with one gun, in addition to the spiritual power contained in the blood, Chen Jue speculated that it was also related to the sharp spear she held.
That sharp thorn was originally a thorn on Bai Ze's body. It was equivalent to using the material on the opponent's body to attack the opponent's energy, and then combined with the power of blood to break down that layer of mental barrier.
"The mind interferes with matter?" Linglong showed a thoughtful expression after hearing Chen Jue's words.
She is the second human being besides Chen Jue to step into the truly extraordinary level with the help of true Qi. Her martial arts experience and ideas are also based on the shoulders of many martial arts predecessors. She is a true human genius.
After listening to Chen Jue's analysis for a few sentences, Linglong roughly understood the principle. Then she looked at the Taoist friend beside her who had already attained enlightenment. A gleam of brilliance flashed in Linglong's eyes and she asked Chen Jue: "Good men and women, when one develops the mind of Anuttara Samyaksambodhi, how should one abide and how should one subdue the mind?"
As soon as these words were spoken, Chen Jue looked sideways!
This is a question that Subhuti asked Sakyamuni in the Diamond Sutra. It is also a question that a later practitioner asked Sakyamuni, who had just attained Buddhahood, in order to gain truth.
There are Sanskrit words in it, and the general meaning of the original words is: "To become a Buddha and attain Bodhi, how should one subdue his mind?"
Chen Jue thought for a moment, then thought back to his own path of spiritual practice and answered, "All phenomena are like dreams, illusions, bubbles, and shadows, like dew and lightning. You should view them in this way."
"The Buddha said that one should live like this and subdue one's mind like this."
"Lao Tzu said that the sage has no permanent mind, and takes the people's heart as his own."
"My understanding is that the mind is unruly, so watch the hearts of others reflect your own heart, always be calm and subdue your heart!"
The heart that Chen Jue mentioned does not only refer to the heart, but also refers to the spiritual energy generated by the brain.
Just like the Monkey King Sun Wukong, when he first appeared, he fought against heaven and earth, jumping around like a monkey or a horse, and finally went to the West, obtained the true scriptures, and finally became a Buddha.
There are eighty-one difficulties on the road to seeking scriptures, from greed, anger, ignorance, and resentment to love, hate, and emotions, all of which are mental obstacles on the road of practice.
It is very difficult to overcome these obstacles. Even Chen Jue himself cannot completely let go of the seven emotions and six desires of the world.
"You are worthy of being a saint, my friend. Your practice and understanding of the Tao are both better than mine."
"Entering into a state of constant concentration is like building a foundation in Taoism or holding an elixir in martial arts. The blood gathers inward and the consciousness returns to chaos, just like a fetus in the mother's womb entering fetal breathing. It is also like the state of colorlessness and formlessness mentioned by Buddhists. The descriptions of these states are indeed similar to the scenes when I merged with the blood gang before."
"But I also took advantage of the situation. I found some colorful ores on the island to strengthen my brain, expand my brain area, and improve my spiritual will. I'm not like you, who uses the tantric Sanskrit to strengthen your mind."
"And fellow Daoist, you have transformed your true Qi into sword energy. This realm should be far above the realm of holding the elixir and breathing... It is no exaggeration to call it the manifestation of a saint... The mind can interfere with reality, and the body can also manifest as a saint!" After listening to Chen Jue's description, Linglong's understanding of her own practice deepened a lot in an instant.
"Is the Holy Spirit in the flesh?"
"Daoyou Linglong does have a brilliant idea!" Chen Jue nodded when he heard it, and casually grabbed some sand from the beach beside him, watching the sand in his hand slip out from the gaps between his fingertips.
A thoughtful look flashed across Chen Jue's face. "A grain of sand is a world, a leaf is a Bodhi. From holding the elixir and breathing in the fetus, to the mind interfering with reality, to the physical body manifesting the saint, this process should be from the macro to the micro, and then from the micro to the macro."
Chen Jue felt as if he had grasped some kind of inspiration. He stared at the gravel in his hand as it slowly drained away and disappeared into the wind. Suddenly, his eyes widened and he exclaimed, "So that's how it is! I understand!"
"Fellow Daoist..." Linglong was also slightly surprised. She didn't expect that Chen Jue, who was so calm just now and was discussing Taoism with him, would have such a big reaction now.
She could sense that Chen Jue's emotions were changing rapidly, and he was obviously thinking at high speed.
"Mind...matter...body...these three are inseparable. Just like when I grabbed this handful of sand just now, I first had a thought, which means my mind had a fluctuation, and then I used my body to grab the sand."
"Bai Ze's use of the rainbow light of his mind to control those bullets is also a manifestation of divine power, and my use of my physical body to grab the sand is also a manifestation of divine power."
"The mind is illusory and elusive, like the sky above our heads for ordinary people , while matter is solid and formed like the earth beneath our feet. We humans are like a bridge between heaven and earth. To connect heaven and earth and interfere with matter, not only must the mind and will be strong, but the body must also be strong enough."
"These are two paths of cultivation that go hand in hand!"
“One cultivates the mind, the other cultivates the body, and in the end both can transform from ordinary to extraordinary, and finally reach a state where both can become saints.” Chen Jue smiled slightly. After understanding the mystery here, he felt that his thoughts had become much clearer.
"Congratulations, fellow Daoist!" Linglong felt the joy coming from Chen Jue and was also infected and chuckled.
The two men and women, who were only in their twenties, were discussing with each other on the beach of this strange planet, and unknowingly completed and perfected the [Transcendent Level] cultivation theory that Chen Jue was still a little confused about.
…
After that, they sat on the beach and chatted for a long time, until the sun of this strange planet set, and then they stood up from the beach.
"Fellow Daoist Linglong, where are you going next?"
"I plan to return to the landing point to recuperate for a while. The injury this time is too serious. It will take me ten days or half a month to fully recover." Seeing Linglong staring at the setting sun in a daze, Chen Jue couldn't help but ask as his heart was filled with waves.
"I have to go back to that island first. There is a disciple waiting for me there."
"I have gained a lot from sitting and discussing Taoism with you, fellow Taoist. I also have a general idea of how to strengthen my subsequent practice of the Blood Gang. This strange planet is full of dangers. It is too early for me to explore it at my current level." Linglong replied.
"Do you want the little parrot to take you there?" Chen Jue glanced in the direction of the island, estimated the distance and asked again.
"No need! This distance is still within my reach given my physical strength. Fellow Daoist Chen Jue, let's meet again if we are lucky enough!" Linglong smiled slightly, rolled up her trouser legs, and strolled into the sea. Under the glow of the bloody sunset, she floated in the waves like a goddess, and walked slowly towards the island hidden on the horizon.
Seeing this scene, Chen Jue felt deeply moved. He and Linglong were just casual acquaintances, and they had confirmed each other's cultivation every time they met three times.
She has her own path to follow, and Chen Jue also has his own requirements.
"I will search for the three thousand great ways, up and down."
"Daoyou Linglong, we'll meet again if we're lucky!" Chen Jue whispered, then jumped onto the back of the little parrot waiting on the side.
Since the pair of wooden wings were lost in the Bai Ze mine, and his clothes were torn, Chen Jue had no choice but to take a ride on the parrot and return to the base to rest.
The little parrot has now grown into an adult parrot, and after swallowing the ash fruit, it has become incredibly strong, and carrying people is almost the easiest thing for it.
Just after taking off from the beach into the sky and entering the white clouds, Chen Jue was slightly distracted as he looked at the clouds that looked like fire under the setting sun.
The magnificent sunset scenery is completely different when viewed from the ground and from the sky.
When the little parrot flew hundreds of miles along the flaming clouds and entered the sky above the desert, suddenly an equally loud and high-pitched sound came from the clouds.
I saw a huge bird with bright red feathers rising into the sky from the fiery clouds. Its body was shining brightly, as if it was burning with flames, and it contrasted with the setting sun projected on the clouds.
An astonishing heat came from the other party. Even though he was several miles away, Chen Jue felt like he was facing a ball of fire!
"This... this is the red guy that Fengniao mentioned!"
